Descendants of the Sun (2016)

- The male lead in both wants to protect the female lead
- They've both got great storylines for the second lead couples
- Both couples in the 2 dramas know that they love each other dearly from the start of the drama but there are lots of hesitations in the relationship
- Both have got delicate but strong female leads
- Both are Action, Romance genres and they have a pretty good amount of comedy too

differences
- The male lead in ML is a security guy at one point but in DOTS the male lead is a soldier
- The female in DOTS is a doctor but in ML the female lead is an aspiring actor
- ML is chinese while DOTS is korean

These two dramas have quite different and unique storylines and plots but they give off the same vibe. If you've watched one you definitely need to give the other a chance.

Both main girl leads are doctors and the main guy leads have similar occupations. Both stories are similar and very good.

Both Dramas are filled with cheesiness and chemistry: They give you that feeling of being in love <3

Both leads have great chemistry and give you butterflies while watching!

- SImilar vibe - female doctor and strong + caring man with a job, that includes helping people (military in Descendants, voluntary rescue forces in Got a crush on you).
- a little misunderstanding and bickering in the beginning (doesn't last long)
- male chases female first (though it's pretty obvious female lead likes male lead too, especially in Descendants)

- Descendants is a korean drama with more action, whereas Got a crush on you is chinese, a little lighter and has more "every day" types of problems

Both involve a medical aspect.
Both have a cute love-centred feel to the show.

I'm only 6 episodes in to Doctors but throughout all of them I was reminded of how I felt when watching Descendants of the Sun.

Dramas have different story line though they give you feeling of rooting for main FL
1) ML always saving FL in trouble
2) FL doesn’t accept her own feelings
3) adorable chemistry between FL and ML and how they are always drawn to each other (fate)
4) strong FL and ML always backing her up on decisions

If you love romantic story and the connection between leads filled with ups and downs with life threatening situations from DOTS extraordinary you will not disappoint you.

Both are about a Military officer and Doctor falling in love. Similar to DOTS he also has friends to make the show a little more comedic. However this drama leans towards a regular lakorn watcher.

Honestly there aren't that much background / story similarities between the dramas. DOTS is longer, has romance, is more epic, etc. It's just army-centered for both.

But they gave me a similar vibe. Something in the emotions I felt while watching those really felt the same.

When I watched D.P, I made a break in the middle just to rewatch DOTS, and I liked it, so I wanted to share it.

Main male leads both are great at fighting.

Both have some combat.

They just resemble each other but with different story lines.

Somehow the characters and scenes reminds me the plots are going to end. Many parts of the drama and how the actors & actress dresses the same. Also the main lead has the same smile towards the female lead.

In Descendants of the sun it’s a captain and doctor that fall in love and in the flaming heart it is a fire man with a doctor the male leads in both dramas have dangerous jobs and the females are reluctant to date them but end up dating them the male leads also meet the female in the hospital or in a uniform while saving life’s.

One of the scenes from the first episode of "Touch your heart" is identical to the scene when doctor Kang arrived to Uruk in "Descendants of the Sun". Descendants of the Sun is one of the best possible Korean tv series and it is worth watching. It is funny, romantic, full of action and inspiring.

They both have male leads related to army.Both heroine are sweet and innocent women. And the romance is some what similar.
