I was more of a thriller comedy with romance than anything else, but I'm still surprised how much I loved it. I loved the meta romance references too, and the writer making fun of all the drama cliches, like the back hug and the main character getting amnesia. I even liked the cut throat business conspiracy side of this drama too, even having me laugh out loud over some of the tactics.
I hadn't heard of these actors but they made a killing performance especially Jung Kyung Ho and Yoon Hyun Min. At the beginning Jung convinced me that Kang Min Ho was a complete jerk, even to the point he physically hurt women, he was an evil bastard for sure. Later on though, he completely changed the character and I was looking at a different Kang Min Ho and really put on a stellar performance with all his adorable characters quirks, leaving me wanting to see more. Although I wished he retained some of his jerkiness from earlier along with his old hairstyle. <3
Seriously Kang Min Ho is the best drama character I have come across, just watching him is addicting!
My only problem with this drama, and its a big one, is the female lead, Kim So Yeon. Throughout this drama she was as cold as ice, though she wasn't supposed to be. I found her performance completely underwhelming and emotionless. Although maybe it wasn't so much that Kim So Yeon is a bad actress, but that Jung Kyung Ho was amazing and completely outshone her...
I thought that slowly she'd start to melt and be sweet with Kang Min Ho but I kept waiting and waiting and it never happened. I understand she's supposed to be a mature and serious person, but honestly I wasn't feeling the love she had for Kang Min Ho at all. It really let down the whole drama in my opinion. It felt like Kang Min Ho had a one-sided relationship with an ice queen.
I also really liked the music, it wasn't over the top and it was refreshing to hear all the newest english songs whenever they were in cafes.
As for the rewatch value, I will definitely rewatch this drama at some point to see Jung Kyung Ho's performance again.
Honestly I would recommend this drama to everyone to watch. The story was amazing, the lead actor was amazing and it didn't have the seemingly obligatory meta cliches that korean dramas all have. WATCH THIS NOW

This is more of a romantic comedy with melodrama aspects rather than a real melo. It has a lot of funny moments and characters, and a lot of plot twists. The story was nothing new but just when you think things got better or worse, something else happens, but it doesn't turn out like you imagined. The writer was very good at overturning situations and destroy old kdrama cliques we were fed up to roll our eyes at. It literally happened the unpredictable, and this is what makes a kdrama enjoyable. The main couple had a lot of adorable moments that made me like them a lot. If you like romcoms, this has a few RC moments and believe me, even if you don't like heart transplant dramas, this is nothing like usual. Everything about it is addressed and given an explanation.
The cast is excellent. I loved both leads and the secondary characters. Jung Kyung Ho was awesome as Kang Min Ho and he shifted from a heartess man to an eccentric and cute teddy bear in the span of a few episodes. His character will definitely be one of my favorites ever. Kim So Yeon played an 'iron lady' character, which is her best kind of role. She was very good at it and her chemistry with the male lead was spot on. The second male lead Yoon Hyun Min also had a surprising role of an evil man with greed. It really looked like he hated the male lead, when truthfully they are best friends in real life! Literally one of the few evil characters who did anything to get his way, somehow I applaud him because of his desperation.
I loved the music as well. The main theme Paradise by Davink caught me at the first listen and I still listen to the OST now.
I would definitely rewatch this several times, so you should watch it too! I assure you won't lose your time. :)

The story has its share of problems, mainly, the corporate stuff that went round and round until the end. There are also plot holes esp. on the last stretch of the drama. The villain also didn't come off as menacing enough for me.
The story itself is nothing revolutionary, but it won me over through its funny and heartwarming moments. All the acting are well done from an amazing cast---from Kim So Yeon to the adorable side characters. I can totally watch a comedy spinoff starring Captain Hook, Tinkberbell, and Wendy from this director/writer duo.

This drama is no joke; it shoves the melo right in your face at every moment; there's no breather even though Jung Kyung Ho has made it quite hilarious through his acting. I barely recognized Kim Se Yeon, she's completely different from her role in Prosecutor Princess and though a bit bland in characterization, I really enjoyed her acting. The antagonist was so-so for me, he really doesn't grow on you during the drama because he's just so linear; his scenes felt like a drag to watch which is a very big problem in a drama of this genre. Na Ok Hyun was the best for me in this, there's nothing better than a badass cop that simply gets stuff done regardless of the danger that she is presented in.
I loved the ringtone song which dates back all the way to 94' and is a very gentle and uplifting tune for the scenes it was used in. The ost is okay, the instrumentals were timed well and the overall music mix was done good.
To be fair, I would rewatch this only for Jung Kyung Ho, he is just too funny and makes life of any drama he is given. However, that's in the long run since the melo is very strong here and there's happier stuff on the market.
Summarized, this is a rich and compelling story that won't leave you bored, albeit will make you frustrated with how little complexity was given into the build of the antagonist and how draggy the plot gets at times. There's also the issue with the lack of chemistry between the leads, at least from Kim Se Yeon's character but that's only because of the way she was written. In terms of connection to the title and the plot itself, it's a success!

What makes this drama worth watching is the acting. I admit that I am a huge Jung Kyung Ho fan and I watch everything he does. He didn't disappoint as Kang Min Ho, I loved his surprisingly upbeat characteristics as well as his cold demeanor. I am also a huge Kim So Yeon fan ever since I watched IRIS. I like her understated way of acting, like she is really Kim Soon Jung. They had pretty good chemistry together. Yoon Hyun Min was great as Lee Jun Hee also. I had no idea that he could play such a character. Most of his characters have been pretty light hearted, play boy types. The other actors were good also. I adore Lee Shi Eon.
For the most part the music is good, but it got on my nerves some.
I won't ever rewatch this unless it is to watch the sweet romantic moments.
I recommend this drama. It is enjoyable.

excellent, and even those who aren't don't let the side down. The story doesn;t break any new ground. It's probably all be seen
before. But it's excuted so perfectly, that it reminds you of why you fell in love with Korean dramas in the first place.
It seems my favourite characters in Kdramas are often those who are or look a little bit quirky. This time it's the female cop Ok Hyun
played by Jo Eun. Defintely one of my favourite drama

I picked this up, because someone in the comments mentioned that this drama's poster is the most misleading one she has ever seen. It's indeed a little misleading, but I wouldn't say that this drama is completely free of triangle makjang.Jung Kyung Ho is without a doubt the best thing in this drama. However seeing him in Hospital Playlist being a much better version of himself, also having much better chemistry with another actress makes his performance a little disappointing to me. I like Kim So Yeon, but her character was somewhere between bad weird, and two dimensional, if that makes any sense. The rest of the cast were not worth mentioning, even the second couple's story is short and bland..
The main romance in this drama just doesn't do it for me. I'm alright with the supernatural element of the story, but due to the sequencing of events & the absurdity of the whole premise it is just too much for me to accept these two being happily together, at least not so soon.
The romance may not be great, but it's not even the drama's greatest problem. The majority of the plot revolves around corporate infighting, scheming and other similar stuff. It's not only that these things are almost always boring and annoying to watch, but the corporate plot in this drama is a new kind of low I have not yet seen before. (or maybe I have in the cdrama "Love is Sweet") So yes, the writing is just teribad.
It's worth mentioning that despite this drama not being that old, it feels really old school.(98-2005 era) There is a lot of shouting, throwing things around, flipping tables etc that modern dramas fortunately don't have anymore. The second ML is also a very old school villain character.
The ending is weak. Important things are left unexplained and we just get a completely random 5 minute long happy ending.
Ultimately the drama has very little going for it. There is no hook that would make me forgive all the stupid, or annoying things. The melo does not work, the romance does not work, the chaebol procedural part of the drama is just trash and thus the rating of 4.5 seems overly generous already.

It's not a very original idea for a story, honestly, but who said it has to be original to be beautiful? The best part about the whole thing was that it never felt redundant, I never experienced the "Pfft-Not-Again" feeling that one usually ends up feeling when you watch rom-coms. The plot was well paced out, with enough content to cover 16 episodes impressively. Even when there were switches in the subplots, I didn't feel the awkwardness of it. And the story itself is so beautiful! I know I've already used that word for it once, but it just IS that beautiful. Just as the characters. Every character felt so real. The lead guy was never perfect, neither was the leading lady. Everybody made mistakes, everybody had doubts, everybody was human. The only issue I had was with the last 10 minutes of the last episode. I felt they could have explained things a little more smoothly. It felt just a little abrupt. Do get to the end and maybe you'll understand what I mean. But please, do get to the end. The journey matters more than the destination right? :)
The cast. Oh the cast. Kdramas keep making me realize there's so much acting talent in the world that I'm missing. The one jewel I discovered in this drama was Jung Kyung Ho. He was ridiculous, he was charming, he was obnoxious, he was adorable, he was a jerk, he was a hero. He stole the show. Not saying the rest of the cast didn't do a good job, I loved the leading lady's work as well, along with every other cast member, down right to the gritty-voiced Ahjussi Jung Kyung Ho mimics flawlessly. But every time I recall this show, I think I will fall again for Jung Kyung Ho (Did that rhyme?)
I loved the background score, it didn't seem out of place at all, and though one only gets to hear bits and pieces of it, mostly during the end credits of the episode, I listened to the whole thing without skipping to the end. That says something I guess.
YES YES YES. I would definitely rewatch this. Maybe not right away, but every time I feel down and want to feel good, I would watch this again. I waited for a day before writing this review because I didn't want to go overboard with my emotions that were so riled up when I finished it last morning. I had been crying like a baby (not exaggerating) by the end of the last episode. And when a show affects me to that level, I tend to recommend it to anyone who wants to watch a good show in the rom-com genre.
This isn't your average feel good rom-com either. It is a really well-made, well-acted show that you will definitely remember for a long long time. Must watch!

After accepting the fact that it's going to be rather cliche, with the heart transplant plot device, the drama became rather enjoyable due to the acting. The leads portrayed their roles really well and I thought that they were so cute! Loads of cute moments and even I wanna punch you moments at the SML cause seriously he's a pain but he was necessary, he made the story more interesting so....... fine.
The story flowed well and the ending for me was alright, even though it was rather rushed and confusing. You'll be asking yourself HOW but okay? The ending was not fantastic but neither was it horrible; at least it was cute.
Overall, the drama was enjoyable, if you have spare time do go ahead and catch this. Jung Kyung Ho is as adorable as ever and Kim So Yeon is as lovable as ever. :-)

The plot was interesting and was full of suspsense. The ending, although very beautiful was not very believable with regard to Kang's illness. It had the right mix of seriousness, tension and humor to even out the excitement of the story.
There were so many quotable quotes from this series, that really captured the moment and the feelings of how it is to love even if circumstances may not be perfect.
All in all, I really enjoyed this show more than I thought I would. Pretty good watch for the latter half of 2015.
