Gatchaman is based on a popular anime franchise of the same name created by Tatsuo Yoshida in the early 1970s.

In the movie, a mysterious organization calling itself Galactor declares war on Earth and overwhelms mankind. With half the planet occupied, Dr. Nambu of ISO (International Science Organization) calls upon five people who have received special training since childhood to act as the last hope of mankind: a team of superheroes called Gatchaman.

Both are action movies about mafia stories. In both many people are shot/killed. DoA is way more brutal and bloody than Moon Child but parts of the story are alike, because all of the protagonists are fighting their own war against the mafia (yakuza)...

L, an angel who’s endlessly fascinated with the human world, gets into trouble when she unthinkingly saves the life of Han Shi Yeong, a man who was meant to die. To make up for her mistake she must guard him on Earth for one hundred days and keep him safe from Hwan, a death god who is required to collect his soul. Both supernatural beings must contend with the knowledge that whichever one of them fails by the end of the hundred days will be erased from existence, and the longer they stay on Earth the further their powers fade and the more human they become.

They are both amazing, yet in a way tragic, movies. Both of them deal with supernatural creatures (vampires and werewolves) but they both do so in a way where the supernatural part does not take away from the actual storyline whatsoever. Both of them talk about the sadness associated with being inhuman, and friendship/love that transcends generations (both of them have seemingly immortal characters). Lastly, both the endings leave you with a hole in your heart. That scary emptiness. You know what I mean. There are a lot more similarities, but I won't delve too far into detail. If you're curious, go see for yourself ^^

Love comes in all flavors. Secret Ingredient is the story of a Korean man who gives up his entire luxurious life in Seoul in search of his childhood girlfriend, someone he’s never forgotten all these years, in the hopes that she would fall in love with him, not for who they were back then or who they are now, but for what they can aspire to be: happy, fulfilled and blissfully in love with one another.
