FRUSTRATION!!!!!!!!!!!!
The ML in this drama is acting like a child and that is the reason why his relationship with the FL can't progress. He's like the little boy in school who is mean and pulls the braids of the girl he likes. He fell in love with the FL at 1st sight but as soon as he found out who she was, his petty behaviour starts. He's constantly mean to her and always says that he doesn't like her but when she turns to someone else who is kind and treats her with respect, he goes into a fit and starts acting all possessive.This lakhorn had the opportunity to be a great drama. The leads were good and the side couples didn't really take away from the main plot. What really ticked me off was the constant misunderstandings between the leads. They refused to be honest with their feelings and they would not talk with each other. Their prides kept getting in the way of everything. For more than half the show, it's just the same thing being repeated over and over again and honestly I skipped through the last three or four episodes to see how it will play out because I don't see any reason why I should spend one and half hours watching the same thing that I watched in a previous episode.

Wholesome and Cute Romance
This is a very wholesome drama with plenty of hand holdings and fake kisses. It also has an unbelievably large number of very likable and kind characters. This is not a very angsty drama with a lot of intrigues, back-stabbings, etc.; the villains here are misunderstandings and non-communications. I guess if our FL and ML only listen to their own heart and each other, and not to others with evil intent, there wouldn’t be a drama. For a period drama, it is done pretty well: the setting, the props, the wardrobe, make-up. Towards the last 3-4 episodes, it starts to drag with a lot of flashbacks to conversations that happened a few minutes prior. At some point near the end, I screamed many times at the screen because they just dragged out too long the story line of trying to get the FL to admit her love. This drama is a cute, pleasant, and enjoyable watch.Was this review helpful to you?
Bored characters
I think James Ji acting is below par and couldn't pull off any better as compared to the earlier 2005 series acted by Ken Theeradeth. He may have to charm and looks but his acting skills need improvement. I don't understand why would the FL got attracted by the ML who is self centered and doesn't show his gentlemen attitude deserves liking. Although Yaya's acting is way better than mediocre, however James Ji bland acting skills can't make up a good show. The bickering was too long I couldn't find there's any chemistry between the two, so I dropped at episode 5.Was this review helpful to you?
