Sunny merges the 70's with the 21st century PERFECTLY, the blend was flawless. Sunny is all about the reunion of 7 best friends. They were friends in high school, but an accident happened, which led them to disband, but they promised to meet each other in the nearest future.
I couldn't hold back my tears while watching this. It's a wonderful movie. It actually got me thinking of how it would look like for me to meet my friends from playgroup or to meet my current friends 25 years later.
The OST is the DAEBAK.

All of the acting was good from the adult female lead Yoo Ho Jeong as Na Mi to the funny little lawyer that has a great time at the end.
The music is really good.
I would rewatch this in a heartbeat.
I recommend that everyone watch this.

This is one of those movies, that you think while watching the 10th minute, oh, hell, why didn't I watch this earlier???
This is such a heartwarming and brilliant story, it made me cry, just because it was so good! After the movie was over, I wanted to hug my besties SO much, it's a pity it was 3 in the morning and it was not possible...
I was so sad because of the unfortunate reason they were reconnected after so many years, and kind of confused why they had to separated in the first place.
The dialogue of the main leads, just broke my heart, it's so important to understand, that YOU are the protagonist of you life, and having your friends with you makes it a lot easier.
I hope my friends always remain by my side.
Thank you SUNNY!!!

First loves/crushes. Letting go of your first love. Having your friend's back. Bullying.
Have you ever wanted to give your 17-year-old self a big hug and say "it's okay, it's not the end of the world"? What advice would you give to her/him? Did you ever fulfill those lofty dreams you had as an adolescent? Do you have any regrets?
These are all things that are addressed in the movie. It dispenses valuable lessons, yet doesn't feel preachy. It delivered so many moments of both laughter and tears.
I love that the story is told by intercutting the present time with flashback sequences through the eyes of Na-mi. However, the beating heart of the group is Chun-hwa, and Kang So-ra impressed me as young Chun-hwa. Shim Eun-Kyung also has a breakout role in this movie - so funny at times, so heartfelt at others.
As for the music, the movie used many English-language hit songs from the 80s that probably sound familiar to us now, and were very appropriate to the era. The music also helped create an air of nostalgia suitable to the flashback sequences.
I don't usually like rewatching shows, but I can see the value in rewatching this film, for some of the lessons that are suitable for any station or stage of life you may be in.

The story might not be the most original one ever, but it's told in a very refreshing way that makes it work. It's not a comedy, and it's not a tear jerker. It's both, you laugh (A LOT) but there are also many sad moments. I fell in love with this story. Also I really liked how the director mixed the characters lives when they were young with some historical moments.
The entire cast was AWESOME. The adults and the teens, both. The stand-outs are definitely Shim Eun Kyeong and Kang So Ra. But they all played the characters very well. I was really impressed.
The music was OUTSTANDING. This film was filled with music from the 80s, which was really cool. The song ''Sunny'' will be stuck in your head for weeks if you see this film.
I will for sure watch this film again soon. It's very entertaining, but it also has some awesome with whom you fell in love throughout the film. I really recommend it if you're looking for a entertaining film with a solid story that's both comedic and deep. Serioulsy, this is one of the best films I've seen in a long time.

The film have a very very flesh out characters ..well developed and most of all its impossible that no one can't relate to them also they have their own personalities that you can differentiate and maybe you can distinguish yourself among them ^^
The movie has a very smooth pacing that never drags. Every detail, every scenario, every person has to say which is almost perfect.
Best friendship theme based film period.

2.) Bonding with your friends and doing some weird and stupid stuffs with them.
3.) I remembered my first love when I was in high school. Like NaMi I felt happy meeting him for the first time and the sad part was he's not into you and same as NaMi I felt really broken hearted at that time to know that guy who you really like, like your beautiful friend.
4.) Having a loyal and trusted friend was a great feeling.
5.) Doing what you really like in life and that's make you happy.
6.) For better or for worse, true friends was in your side no matter what happen.
7.) Friends offer a hand to you so that you can stand up again and be a better person in life.
8.) Whatever happened in the past is in past, and look forward for the present and future.
9.) You're the PROTAGONIST in your life and not anybody else.
10.) SUNNY was a good example of true friendship.
I really love the soundtracks of this film. They have Cindy Lauper and Richard Sanderson and Bobby Hebb. It gives the feeling of 80s vibe. And also the settings was great. The flash backs moment was funny and it gives the nostalgic vibe. Overall it's worth watching and I'm going to watch it again if I have time.

I think it's a slightly more grown-up theme, but anyone who's been out of high school for a few years could relate to the story in some way.
The cast is really good, young and "old", they really seem like the people you'd meet as friends.
The music is great, there's a mix between old American and Korean music which is great because I don't know much about old Korean hits but you can relate to the American music as a foreigner ^_^ (I'm not nearly as old as the characters but they are old songs everybody knows !).
I'd rewatch it, you know, on a lonely night when I feel all like I should watch a girly movie !
I really hope I can be friends like that with my current besties when I'll be their age !
I give it the best note because it deserves it. Go and watch it !

It makes me envy their friendship, how they cherish each other and kept track when they grow up! it also crack me up with all those stupidity, it made me laughed especially about swear queen haha, and oh those "smoking" on secret at the young age!
I also relate about the scene where one of the girl fall in love and got heart broken! all and all, it reminds us our younger years, oh how I wish I could go back! my all time fav!
I especially love the Sountrack at the end! how can I upload it for free???
