This is the gushiest drama I have ever seen
I’m rating it a 10 for ME. For everyone else I’d probably rate this an 8. It wasn’t anything crazy plot twisty with this one but, it didn’t need to be. This drama has it’s own unique story line as well but it’s nothing too out of the ordinary. It’s also very fast paced so I didn’t feel ANY dragging ever.Now. This was by far THE most gushiest kdrama I have ever seen and I have seen my fair share (60+). I’m rating it so high because this is the drama I have been looking for. I’m a hopeless romantic and every little moment of this just made my heart melt. There are a few cliches in here but I couldn’t really pin point them because to be honest, they fit so well with the feel of the drama I didn’t even notice them. It’s like it would be disappointing to not have them there.
I suggest that if you like the romance to be a side plot where there is something else that the drama focuses on such as a mystery than this may not be for you because it’s pretty much the main plot. This is where it could lose points for others but I personally like it and find it refreshing despite the fact that it’s all about romance. I think they did a very nice job of keeping the viewers attention even if it’s about one thing. You have to give them points for that. Don’t worry there are a few side plots and since it revolves around work they do have work related problems as well however, they are short.
Now if you can handle that then I would 10/10 recommend this and I can’t get enough of how much EYE CANDY there is in this drama (For girls and guys). Also, the amount of cameos in here, good gracious.
Although you should at least give it a try because girl I squealed the whole time. It’s definitely a feel-good and warm-hearted drama.

I would reccomend this drama for those who doesn't want to commit to watching 40 episodes-long dramas. Each episode was less than 20minutes, so the story was quite to the point, doesn't keep you guessing all the time.
Music and sountracks was okay.

Really strong start, if you're looking for a workplace romance then this is definitely for you. Though I'd like to emphasize that my high rating is purely for the main couple-- they have SO much chemistry from start to finish, and I love myself a bickering couple!
Story: Good start, but around the middle, I guess they ran out of things that could happen so every single man in the drama started getting interested in Go Ho? It was kinda insufferable. Every scene for me that doesn't involve the main couple/ Go Ho's family life is an easy skip. I'm glad she wasn't a pushover, sack of potatoes throughout it though; most of the time, at least. Besides that, there's no real story for this. It's a lighthearted romantic comedy through and through.
Acting: FANTASTIC! I LOVED that I could enjoy Go Ho's personality even when it didn't involve any of the characters. She's such a breath of fresh air; Straight forward, honest, both cute and mature. Even the weird cast that pursued her had their own neat touch, whether I liked it or not. Her and Tae Ho's relationship was so cute, it's the only thing that kept me sane through the unecessary scenes.
Music: Pretty ok, the ending is pretty memorable and there were about three different atmospheric songs that got kinda old, but that's the same for most dramas so I forgive it.
Overall, very neat would recommend for the main couple I love them !!
[Minor spoiler!] Why on earth did Ji Hoon's dad have to randomly die for Go Ho to appreciate her mom?? I've never seen two such weirdly placed deaths in a romantic comedy drama like this before lol I wish they'd found a better way to end her family arc, I actually ended up liking them.. One moment the main couple are kissing and in the next BOOM, funeral lmao,, Not to mention the poor second lead not only tried pursuing her again, his dad fuckin DIED, AND he got rejected, it's so silly to me lmaoao

Go Ho herself is a character that is rather relatable. She shares a lot of herself throughout the drama, her highs and lows and her awkward encounters too. I like that even though she's suffered from heartache, she can still express her feelings honestly, even if they make her look a little shameless at points.
Without spoiling the story, there are several males vying for Go Ho's attention. They range in age, connection with her, position in their career, as well as physically. I like how the show makes a point in showcasing more than one side to each of these individuals and Go Ho being honestly surprised by these experiences. It again adds to her ability to be more relatable to the audience. I do like the humour connected to the men competing for her attention, but I do find it to be a little taxing at points. If I had of been Go Ho, I would have been turned off by it all, proclaim to be single instead of won... however she did seem a "little" oblivious to it, so I can see why it did continue for some time. Plus, I'm sure if any of us were in Go Ho's shoes, having Kim Young Kwang, Lee Ji Hoon and Shin Jae Ha trying to win you over, I think we'd have a hard time saying no! I love all three of them dearly, it was an internal struggle for who I was cheerleading for at points, though I will admit, I wouldn't have chosen who she did in the end... but that's because I was a sucker for Lee Ji Hoon's reasoning/storyline.
The light hearted nature of this show is mostly accepted, though it does seem to make the more serious scenes drag. Speaking of dragging, between Kang Tae Ho and Hwang Ji Hoon the choice in who she would pick seems to get a little out of hand. I appreciate both characters a lot, and to be honest, felt emotional connections to how both of them reacted to their own feelings, and to Go Ho... but I do feel Go Ho herself could have been more proactive in defining the line of when not to cross, and who she had chosen before the ending. Whilst I understand why it was that way, in my opinion, it got to be a bit of a stalemate for the show.
The story/writer element to this drama is one I really appreciated. Go Ho was able to showcase the ups and downs of life within her column, and I did like how it helped others as well, whether for enjoyment, or dating advice hah! Some of the best lines in this drama were the ones spoken, or written, for her column.
Overall this drama is a pleasant experience. Not only is there enough male eye-candy to keep any avid k-drama enthusiast watching, the fun cameos, friendship and office dynamics keep Go Ho's Starry Night at a lighthearted, enjoyable way to spend your day - it's very easy to start and finish in one day, it's what I did haha!
8.5/10.

The acting was good and it was apparent that the cast were comfortable with one another. I was not too fond of the opening and closing theme song but it suits the drama as it has a cheerful and cutesy vibe.
I would definitely rewatch this drama just to relief my heart from heavy and emotional dramas.

Something missing
This story was totally okay and I think anyone who likes romance k-dramas should give it a shot. The two stars it lost was because of my personal preference when it comes to Romance. It took too long for the FL to make a choice and when the choice was made I didn't feel like she was overcome with love. I don't expect a HEA if the FL is 18, but at 29 she should know herself better. So although the show ended happily it didn't feel like a guaranteed HEA. There is also no time to enjoy them together as a couple, because as soon as her choice was made the story ended.
For some reason I also wasn't crazy about the FL. Since I can't put my finger on it I guess it doesn't really make sense to include it in my review, but maybe someone else felt the same way.
Both the ML's also did things that made me scratch my head and in the end, although I'm happy with her choice I don't totally understand the reason for it. I did however like the ML's a lot more than the FL.
TL;DR the romance itself was lukewarm, but the rest of the story wasn't bad. It doesn't have rewatch value for me, since I want romance, but I'm not mad I watched it this once.

A short binge-worthy drama with great chemistry
If you are a fan of romance and want to watch this, it would be better to turn your brain off and simply enjoy the ride because if you think about it critically it's clear that many of the main leads's behavior wouldn't be so easily accepted in reality (especially KYK's character and the young playboy, they could pass as a bully and a sexual assailant in real life) BUT I admit it was really enjoyable if you don't think about it too much like I said. The chemistry is definitely here and the acting was mostly great. The only downside for me was the FL. Her acting wasn't really convincing and she wanted so much to appear "cute" that it became a little annoying. Also I would have liked it more if we had 1 more episode to better focus on the final couple now that they were officially together but I guess the story was more about "the path" than the "finality". On the other hand, I think that the dead father's appearance throughout the whole drama was a nice touch, it was sad but also heart-warming. So overall it's a 8/10 for me.Was this review helpful to you?

NICE CHEMISTRY BETWEEN LEADS. PROBLEMATIC SCENES THAT WERE GLOSSED OVER. NOT BAD OVERALL.
This drama left me with mixed feelings. I found the basic premise - (a fantasy world where) multiple men in the same office fall for one woman - intriguing. I was interested to see how the story would be handled… and I was slightly disappointed? The male and female lead have such lovely chemistry, I wish the show would’ve capitalized on that but instead we had scenes filled with sexual harassment and men turning their pursuit of the FL into a chest-beating, testosterone-fueled competition - with a scoreboard and everything. It was giving very much “dibs”. The hoobae kissed her without her consent but it was glossed over and that didn’t sit right with me. There was also a man in the office that was a serial sexual harasser and that could’ve made for a valid conversation but it was (in my opinion) glossed over. That is not to say the show is without merit. I did end up watching all 20 episodes for a reason. The show was well-paced and the male lead somehow endeared himself to me enough to make me root for his grumpy ass (I say this with love). The male lead, Kim Young Kwang, was pitch perfect as the grumpy and competent Kang Tae Oh. Even though I felt there were scenes where his temper was written that (to me) outside of this kdrama land would land outright disrespectful, he managed to play this bad-tempered character with an underlying warmth that made you feel that he did not have malicious intentions. The female lead, Kwon Yoo Ri, while not perfect, leaned into her role as Go Ho and committed to the full range of delivery. She did a solid job.
This drama is binge worthy and fluffy in the right parts. It had all the makings for the perfect fluffy romcom, but it’s downfall was the writing. The actors did a solid job. If you’re looking for a show to watch for fluff and relaxation that doesn’t require you to turn on your brain, this might just hit the spot for you. I would rate this a 6.5/10 overall.

watch if you like short and light hearted romcoms
the chemistry, flow, and plot were all great! it was so hard for me to move on from this series when i first watched it bc of yuri and youngkwang's chemistry. there are only a few dramas where everything is balanced, and this drama is one of them. i still think about how great it would've been if this series were longer. there are gonna be a few characters that annoy and probably even disgust you from time to time, and there are also a few moments (esp in the first few episodes) that are a bit cringy, so just skip those parts lolenjoy!!! :)
