Both of them are a slice-of-life kind of dramas. Age of youth focuses on 5 girls and college life, whereas Reply 1988 focuses on the children growing up (and experiencing their first love) as well as the family members. Both are slow paced, and detail orientated. It is definitely the smallest things that touch you the most. The music is also subtle and fitting. Characters in both shows have a lot of depth and show a lot of character growth.
Many life lessons to learn in both.
Overall the pace, genre, direction/cinematography (revealing details a bit at a time), music and feel of the two shows are similar.

Beautiful friendship, heartship and real life feel.
This si a Kdrama, but it also has a cdrama version
Five girls in their twenties come to live together in a house. Each girl has a particular personality, background, and issues
. The drama follows their struggles and incidents dealing with relationships - within their circles, with dating, and with each other - and a variety of events they are experiencing including credits, part-time jobs, drinking, hopes and dreams.

The shows have a similar vibe, exploring the experiences and worries of the characters and focusing on some similar things. They also both feel very honest and deal with sensitive and tough issues.
The three girls in It's Okay To Be Sensitive repeatedly reminded me of the Belle Epoque girls, and the way that It's Okay To Be Sensitive portrayed relying on friends as an important part of dealing with difficult issues was very similar to Age of Youth.
