Kudos to the other actors and people working behind the scenes, too. The editing made every comedy scene hilarious and every action scene was beautifully choreographed.
Story-wise, the film was relatively simple. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing, though. I think the simplistic nature of the film complemented and reflected the pure and innocent character of the main characters. After all, at the end of the day, they are just two young and passionate students who like to joke around.
Also, even if you’re not a big fan of cop and thriller movies, this isn’t a bad pick to watch because there’s nothing too complicated going on.

Awesome!
I wasn't expecting to laugh as much as I did. I thought this would be another hardcore action packed save the day kinda movie but boy was I wrong in all the right ways. Legit the plot is something I've never seen before. I didn't even know people are trafficed for such a reason and as a woman, it hit me differently on a personal level. From the beginning I knew I was going to enjoy it, but by the end I realized I enjoyed it more than expected. It's a little cringy but nothing a mature audience can't handle. I was so into the fight scenes there was a part I felt the wound hit my soul lol Unfortunately with all the awesomeness and humor this still gives a pretty graphic and detailed description of the black market world and even how police have to handle every situation, no matter how severe. I seriously got aggravated and worried to the point I forgot I was watching a movie a few times. Definitely worth the watch and the music was catchy afWas this review helpful to you?
PROS:
+ The film is amazing at showing the relationship between the main characters and their performances are perfect together
+ The central theme of unfading justice resounds in the plot and makes the lead characters' convictions wonderfully admirable
+ Incredible "big budget" cinema feel with exciting action sequences that are well choreographed and authentic-feeling
+ The lighthearted buddy cop tone escalates into a mature and heavy plot that is written incredibly well
CONS:
- Honestly, the poster made me think the movie would be a dumb, but fun buddy cop action movie; it ended up being SO much more
- One of the most beautiful scenes takes place as a post-credit scene; it was so good that it should have been in the conclusion
This is easily one of the best action movies that I've seen come out in the past few years! It goes so far beyond expectation.

Kang Ha Neul and Park Seo Joon are perfect for their roles in this movie. Their interactions and face expressions make the comedy even better. For anyone who wants a Bromance, you won't find any better than this movie. it is brain and brawn pairing up to take down bad guys...what could be better than that. These 2 actors really stole the movie. The story line is good but generic...especially for a police comedy but it is still very entertaining and I laughed my ass off throughout the entire thing. Speaking of story, I loved the message at the end. I thought that was very touching on how these characters were passionate about helping people and that it why they should be cops. I loved that.
Definitely a movie that you can put on after a bad day and can rewatch a thousand times without it getting old. Just a good movie with a mix of comedy, crime, police procedure (SHIRTLESS SCENES AND YES MORE THAN ONE FOR THE LADIES) and fight scenes. I would totally recommend this movie to anyone.

Exciting Comedy Mystery Movie!
Was a bit reluctant to try a comedy cop movie because I was worried it would be too funny and not have enough of a focus on the cop part, BUT I was wrong. It was a great mix of humor and mystery/thriller focusing on the abduction case. Following the development of the case was interesting every minute and I was excited to see how the story would go. Also, the crime parts were not so serious to the point where it got boring; it was straightforward enough that the case was intriguing and easy to follow. Fight scenes were done very realistically and were fun to watch.So, overall good things were:
1. Great plotline
2. Humorous
3. Amazing and realistic acting
I totally recommend this movie if you're looking for a funny crime/mystery movie!

The plot is simple, dynamic, captivating and fun!! Overall the movie is satisfying and leaves you with a smile especially for the amazing collaboration between Park Seo Joon and Kang Ha Neul! I laughed in some scenes only because of their expressions and their way of doing things, they interpreted the character well! They are a really great team, a perfect bromance! Their friendship seems real and not acting!
I think this gives a big score to the movie! In addition there are also serious, sad and scary scenes with regards to villains.
It's a very good movie and I would like to see another movie or a drama with them!

But it seems like the Korean action dramas-sans the cliche romance has come to a stand still for me.
I watched this movie because of Park Seo Joon from Itaewon Class and have grown to like him. His partner in crime Kang Ha Neul was awesome as well.
Even though this wasn't a top notch action/mystery movie it was something to watch to surpass a few hours.
The relationship between the two main characters as besties won me over. They also had awesome supporting cast members as well.
There were some things that touched a reality shock such as runaways and illegal infertility scams but again, it was something to help surpass the time.
If you just want to do that just watch. It didn't disappoint me in the least.

No Need For A Girlfriend If You Got Your Buddy
This is one of the best movies I've seen lately. I never expected I would laugh this much watching a movie with such a dark theme. I can agree that the plot has been used before when it comes to police university students getting tangled up in a criminal case. But I think the movie shows some character development when you see Ki-joon go from being unsure about wanting to become a police officer to find pride in helping people and appreciate the work that the police do for the people and for the victims.As I mentioned before, the movie has a dark theme. What I mean by that is how the crimes surround the subject of human trafficking. It shows how cruel people can be towards others, selling their friends to make money, selling their organs without their consent and making them victims to crime. As cruel as it seems, this is the reality, this is actually something that happens to this day. So I think the movie is doing a great job raising awareness of the subject.
Apart fom that, it also shows what runaway children needs to go through. Many of them are victims to domestic abuse or has experienced bad things in their household. Running away from it doesn't mean it makes it easier for them. They have to stand on their own feet, finding a place to sleep, bringing food to the table and suffer from the fear of being sent back to the cruel place they ran away from.
On the other hand, it was great seeing Park Seo Joon and Kang Ha Neul being like brothers in this movie. They fought together, suffered together and succeeded together. They did a great job showing the character's youthful craziness, their life struggles and their dedication to improve, not for themselves, but for others.
I had a fun time watching it and I recommend you to see it yourself. It is a great movie to watch with your friends.

Koreans truly mastered mixing comedy with a discussion of serious topics. The hilarious duo of Gi Joon and Hee Yeol made it easier to digest all the unjust and frustrating police procedures that valued following the outdated system over human lives.
The chemistry between Ha Neul and Seo Joon was out of this world. The progression from rivals, to friends, to partners in (catching) crime was perfect, and each and every interaction they had made me laugh like an idiot. Not only that, the whole supporting cast sells the comedy well too. While some jokes might feel extremely silly, they never felt dumb and cringy. It just fitted the presented scenario and who the characters were.
I loved the use of wide shots in the movie. For a buddy cop production, it was quite an aesthetically pleasing movie. I could see that every part of production was well thought through. From writing, directing, set design to audio editing.
Overall, I would recommend it to everyone. It's a fun, entertaining and simple take on the larger issue that is the failed police system and fixation on set procedures in any given situation.

The movie is not fully comedy but its extraordinary, I highly recommend watching it!!!
I like how it is a partly comedy movie and is also filled with a lot of lessons and the happiness and satisfaction I felt soon after finishing the Movie was immense, I would highly recommend this movie to every Human Being out there.The actors have done an exceptional job from main leads to the thugs. I wasn't expecting much out of this movie and started to watch it only because it was a comedy movie, but turns out I did the right thing by watching it . I highly recommend this Movie!!!
