Both are based on historic figures and the time line of the story from both shows are set in around the same timeline but told from different sides (queen seon duk is silla and gye baek is Baekje and both countries historically have interchange with one another) , different perspectives.

Similar story for: love loyalty emotions, plot at the palace, unfulfilled love, devotion, great endurance to grinding, also Tae Woong Uhm in equally moving role.
Moves you until you cry a river. Extraordinary performance of the actors.

Both are bittersweet stories about smart and hard-working female rulers (reigning queen Seonduk and dowager queen Chunchu) who loved their kingdom most of all. Both have lots of scheming and little romance (particulary little in QS)

They're both great dramas
Both Historical
Battle of Changsha is a C Drama, while Queen Seon Duk is a K Drama
Battle of Changsha is more about war, while queen seonduk shows the life of a princess who had to run away.

The two of them had the same feel as well as parallels when it comes to scenes and a bittersweet ending.

Both dramas are about a princess who, due to circumstances, have to grow up outside the palace. For sometime in her life, she doesn’t know she’s a princess. She eventually returned to her kingdom and was a very good asset in helping/saving her people. Princess Deokman in Queen Seon Deok uses her wits, Princess Pyeonggang also does it plus she also fights some battles for her people.

If you love one story, you should love another. It doesnt have 100% resemblance but its also about trying to get rid of absolute power from one person for the sake of royal family.

If you're interested in learning the history Queen Seondeok is a bit earlier but provides some context!! Both dramas were made really well too the acting is really great in both in my opinion

I know the two dramas are very different, but I am recommending Queen Seon Deok to Fiery Priest fans because Kim Nam Gil's role as Bidam in Queen Seon Deok is simply unforgettable. Kim Nam Gil's shows both comedic and serious acting that eventually gave him his best new actor nomination at baeksang for Queen Seon Deok. He first appears in Episode 21 or 22. But I still recommend people to watch the whole drama since the whole drama is epic.
For Queen Seon Deok fans, Fiery Priest is a drama where Kim Nam Gil is the main character (you don't have to wait more than 20 episodes for him to appear). You can guarantee he gives great performance in Fiery Priest, he was after all nominated for another baeksang award for this role, he won daesang at SBS awards as well.

The timeline in history is similar, as the characters in My Country lived in the same era as Queen Seon Duk, especially Yi Bang Won. Although Queen Seon Duk is a bit long, I'm sure you will enjoy it too!

They have the same writers. They main character is also a twin in both dramas. There is a prophecy about the twin characters in the drama that is important to the plot. They also both have complex characters, meaning likeable villains, protagonists with a dark side, and characters which we won't understand at first if they're good or evil

=> Both are long historical sageuk dramas with many episodes from the 2000s
=> Both dramas are set in Three Kingdoms Period
=> Both sageuk dramas got high ratings in Korea and was even aired in some international countries like the Philippines
=> Both main characters have at least two love interests (fans of both dramas still debate which love interest is better for the main character)
=> Both main characters have to overcome obstacles/prejudices to become a worthy ruler.
=> Both have many cool fight scenes
=> Both have actor Jung Ho bin (In Jumong, Jung Ho Bin plays Wootae, Soseono's bodyguard. In Queen Seon Deok, he played Munno, a great martial artist who is also Bidam's master)
