Kim Jae Heok just signed with MBL and there are many plans for his successful career, however, after chasing and knocking out the man who attempted to rape his sister, he's accused of excessive violence against the rapist and sent to jail where his old friend works as a Lieutenant and where he has to learn to survive in this new world that is nothing like outside.

Prison Playbook Episode 1 Reactions
So far im impressed it is 50/50 accurate with real life prison. Watching this i get the feeling prisons seem to run along same rules throughout the world. Here in the uk initial booking in's run slightly differently we would get transferred in a G4S vehicle that we call meat wagons or sweat boxes we wouldn't be transferred on a bus like this but we would all be transferred on a bus that are tiny dark metal confinement cells just enough to sit with your back against the metal wall behind you and your knees pressed against the metal wall infront of you and with maybe an inch spare either side of your shoulders with the metal walls each side of you, you wouldnt be hand cuffed but would be lock in these in complete darkness if it wasn't for the dim tiny light above you, these are so hot without any air ventilation that you are literally soaked in sweat no matter whether its summer or winter here, by the time you have travelled 3/4 hours in them without so much as a bottle of water or anything throughout that time, the only thing you

The first episode settles a distinct mood not commonly found in dramas. Now I understand why so much mystery about the basic plot line the drama lays upon, there really isn't nothing new about that, it is the way how this first episodes introduces to the viewer in such a unique way that makes the difference.
All the dark humor and heavy settlements that are so normally expected in production the main theme revolves around crime and prison issues does appear in this first episode, but not with extreme commitment as the story delves into a more lighthearted approach. Lighthearted, but not trivialized.
The comedic part could be a worry, however, in this first episode, it was well put and not over-the-top.

Eu achei ele super interessante, mas lentinho acho que por ser um primeiro episódio, mas eu sabia que ele ia ajudar o carinha com a cirurgia da mãe e tô amando ver essa atuação diferente do hae Soo, muito diferente por exemplo de money heist Korea! Amando ver tantos atores conhecidos em um drama só, vários rostos que já conhece vários trabalhos e essa amizade do kyung ho e do hae Soo tudo pra mimmmm sim, acho que foi o que me deu o gás pra continuar o drama mais um pouco!
