STORY. I've watched the very first Hana Kimi version which is I think is the Japanese and honestly saying, I didnt like it. From the main leading male to the progress of the love story. Same with the Taiwanese version. The previous 2 versions made it short making us, the watchers, disappointed. But with the Korean version, I wont say it was outstanding but it was at least better than the previous versions. This version has elaborated the story more and it was detailed enough not to make the viewers hanging.
ACTING. 1 word: A-W-K-W-A-R-D! I am a big fan of SHINee but not Minho's although i would spend some time watching or monitoring his activities... and Minho's acting was just plain AWKWARD-- especially the last scene when he was looking for Jae Hee in the camera. He needs more practice and so do Sulli. At first, I thought Kwanghee didnt fit this drama but i admit, he portrayed his role really well. Although the lip balm thingy was so out of place but at least he did well. I have no problems with SeungRi sunbae, Seol Ha Na and Cha Eun Gyeol and Min Hyun Jae, i guess. They've been trained for acting so as i always say... Idols should just sing and dance so actors and actresses could do their jobs.
MUSIC. OHMIGOD! I have nothing to say. It was superb. Although they have limit it to SM artists, i do not care. I'm a big fan of SMTOWN anyway (not the company but the artists). A big fan of SHINee especially and Taemin's. So having Taemin sing a solo for the OST of this drama, i give it a 1000000000!!!!
REWATCH VALUE. It was not as good as any of the dramas I plan to rewatch like Reply 1997 and the like but at least this version would be more worth to rewatch than the previos versions.
OVERALL. So-so.
I guess I wasn't able to "keep it short."
Enjoy the drama! :)

I really love the first 4 episodes. I can't wait for next week.
What I like about this? It's not too exaggerated acting wise compared to the first two version. I like and enjoyed watching the first two version, but i fell in love with the Korean version. Maybe because they changed it a bit, but still the idea/concept are still there.
First time in a drama they got the a character right...The Brother! who is an american and can actually speaks fluent english! LOL i soo luv Julian Kang!
Sulli...never heard of her before, but after watching the first ep i fell in love with her...then Minho...not a big fan of SHINEE (DBSK all the way!), but i realized he is good...not there yet, but he is getting there.
Anywayz, this is just my opinion...I just love this drama...can't even watch any other! lol

Anyways, It's an adorable drama. You like the characters, even the evil ones, you get to laugh with them and cry with them(Eun Gyul!). A good drama that even though it wasn't crazy funny like the original versions, it still made the viewers laugh - even if some scenes were awkward but either way, it made things funny.
Story: 8/10. A great story but it was still kind of creepy to me; it's a stalker story no matter how much you try to look passed it.
Acting/Cast: Great cast! But I had so much problems with the main. They looked like they were trying so hard to look like they like each other. They were mostly like brother and sister. I really don't have any problems with Sulli, but Minho was horrible! THIS COMING FROM A SHAWOL!!! He was cute and all but most of the time he looked awkward which made me feel awkward! When he smiled, he smiled too much which sometimes they looked forced... soooo.... 7/10 ^^
Music: No problems with the music! LOVED IT! 10/10 ..........ONEW!!! *o* ?
Rewatch Value: 8/10. I'm sure I'll be watching this again just for the eye candy~ ^^
Overall: 8/10. I might have my problems(awkward Minho making me feel awkward) but this was still great! REALLY RECOMMEND THIS!!! :D
P.S. If you've seen the other versions, don't expect much from this drama so watch this with an open mind! Don't think of this as a Hana Kimi Remake; just think of this as a drama similar to Hana Kimi~

Story: yeah, basically it's romance comedy all the way. Korean version always have those different kind of vibe when they remakes a drama. I can't help but comparing with 2 other versions. This Korean version is more likely a romance, different with the other versions (especially the Japanese one) which more likely focused on comedy. The story itself is predictable, since, I've watched the other versions as well. Although I didn't feel that the story was dragged, sometimes, I feel like there were quiet a lot unnecessary scenes here and there. But as it is for the sake of the "comedy" genre, I didn't really mind though..
Acting: Minho did a good job in my opinion (regardless I'm a fangirl of Minho :p) IMO, he portrays the arrogant Kang TaeJoon really well. As for Sulli, I have to say that she's not as good as the other version's. I don't know, but IMO Sulli didn't really give the "guy" vibe. Different from Horikita Maki (Japanese), which I think, the best one among 3..
Lee Hyun Woo really did a great job too there. Even though I feel like his character is a bit more gloomy compared with the other version's.
From the supporting roles, I especially likes Kim Ji Won, even though her character is irritating.. LOL.. Her acting was good..
Music: I think SMent just going overboard by releasing an OST album every week in the earlier episodes. But actually IMO, there are just a few outstanding songs, and some just barely heard along the dramas (or it's me who didn't notice). Only a few songs fit the atmosphere of the scene.. I especially like some songs like Sunny & Luna's, Taeyeon's, and Taemin's.
Rewatch Value: beside I didn't usually rewatch anything I've watched, even if I like to rewatching dramas, honestly I would prefer to rewatch the Japanese version..
Overall, I can't recommend this drama though.. Except if:
- you are a fangirl of Minho, just like me (even though there are a lot of times when the romance scenes come, I would feel like throwing anything on my computer screen)
- you like to watch Boys Before Flower (since they come from the same director)
- or... if you insisted to watch.. yeah, well, go ahead.. LOL

I like it very much and I finish the episodes with a smile on my face!
Minho does the cool guy, yet sweet, work very well (I would definitly have a crush on him to! :D)
Sulli is a cute girl that looks like a boy and sounds like a boy, so it looks legit.
Hyun Woo is funny and cute and makes a real good friend. I don't think it is fair to compare his caracter to Nakatsu because they're totaly different. Cha Eun Gyeol is not Nakatsu.
This is a drama with young people for young people (or people like me that still like this kind of things because we really never grow up XD)! So if you are expecting something mature where caracters talk about their feelings and stuff, you probably won't like it. This drama is all about young, silly and pure love!! (they're teenagers)
I hope my review is helpful and you should definitly check this drama out!!
(PS: I really like onew's song and J-Min's too! XD)

Only good thing beside the eye candy was merely the fact Choi Sulli actually looked like a boy and all the actors had good actoring abilities

story between Tae Joon and Jae Hee more which I actually enjoyed. Overall I thought this was a very cute drama. The acting by the main leads was nothing special, but the sweetness of their relationship and how it developed made up for it. I would definitely recommend this drama for someone wanting a simple first love drama that is heavy on the cute and light on the angst. It's not a demanding watch and made me smile throughout.

A guilty pleasure of mine
This show intrigued me because of Choi Minho, so let that tell you that this probably will be biased because that man is so multi talented and oh so very good looking. Even with that being said I don’t understand all of the overly negative reviews.Looking into this drama outside of the stars from SM entertainment it’s clearly just supposed to be an adaptation, it’s fun, and a bit over the top with its music. Still it doesn’t diminish from anything, the campyiness of everything fits well with the absurdity of the story. So pretty much don’t expect anything outstanding, this is what it is and it’s about a girl cross dressing to go into an all boys school to help out Tae Joom who she pretty much idolizes.
With a first glance I could tell this drama is drama is going all out with its campy nature. And I like dramas that go one way completely, especially with the lightness and fun of the main plot. It follows things like I would expect from the source material coming from a manga, like Boys Over Flowers. Lets see if this drags on..
So what I like is Eun Gyeol, who develops a crush on Jae Hee who is played by Sulli. She does an amazing job at acting like a guy, because she knows not to take it seriously. The role her for her is done well and the credit of the likableness of her character is because of Sulli. She could’ve tried too hard to try and be like a man, but instead has her look and lets her feelings follow. She’s not into toxic masculinity where she’d hold back her feelings and act like a boy in an insulting way. That leads onto what I really like. Eun Gyeol and his gay panic moments are hilarious, and they are also not insulting. He just likes Jae Hee and it’s genuine, he isn’t trying to cover it up- instead he wants to get closer to her even if he thinks she is a guy. He has a very funny imagination, my favorite character that I could talk about all day. Tae Joon, although he’s more strict with how he acts, he still obviously cares about Jae Hee and is putting on some character at certain times.
I don’t like the trope of someone acting all serious, it’s a shame that Minho has to do that at times because I know he’s super charismatic.

Let me make one thing clear. I'm a huge fan of shinee minho that's why I love it the most.
But the problem is even though she dress like a boy or act like a boy she could be easily found out unlike coffee prince. It is actually a relaxing drama without much stressful events... So it's a good to go

The only thing that really saved this drama for me was Cha Eun-Gyeol, who was the most lovable, adorable, relatable character ever. The drama did that thing where they gave the second lead all the cute bantering moments, while the main lead got all the scenes where they had to save the female lead from the evil antagonists. As a result, I found myself rolling my eyes at all the K-drama cliches but fangirling over the domestic moments between Eun-Gyeol and Jae-Hee, especially because it felt like he was always there for her when Tae-Joon wasn't.
One thing that really bothered me was the premise itself—Jae-Hee literally flew to Korea all the way from America just because of a guy, and she ended up being so stalkerish and obsessive that I found her character annoying and creepy within the first few episodes.
I felt like this drama tried to be melodramatic, but the reasoning behind so many plot points were so stupid and cliche and could have been resolved with communication, ESPECIALLY THAT STUPID TIME JUMP AT THE END. Time skips annoy the hell out of me especially when it's as if everyone suddenly forgot that phone and email existed and just didn't communicate at all.
THE OST FOR THIS DRAMA IS SO GOOD., and it was another thing that made my heart feel more invested in the story and scenes, when my head was telling me to not be.
Lastly: I get that Jae-Hee came from America, but when her brother visited, was there a purpose to randomly switching between Korean and English every other sentence in every conversation? It not only sounded awkward but also made my head spin when I was trying to process what I was watching.
