Overall its worth watching for the BL scenes that were mostly well executed and very tender and touching, really the 2 male leads safe the series from falling down. Min/wan story starts well and progress well but somehow then it gets frustrating, Pan/Feh starts uninteresting as its very cliché save the fact than Pan is a Tom boy and Feh is a man, and the other gay couple, well they just don`t go anywhere... Acting was so so for most fo the character except for main couple and second couple who really did a great job. The story line is messy and there is a lot things without explanation if you can watch the first 2 chapter spatially episode one where everything is messy and forced, you will end up with something to spend your time. but be aware the endings is as blant as they come, i get the feeling that this series ran out of budget towards the end that`s why you normally find such bad ending in Asian BL, if its not tooooo cliche its toooo sad, this one is way to cliche... and Wan and Apo decide to go study abroad at the same time? like really? couldn't they say something more interesting like Apo is joining another club or something that didn't requiere a year of the main couple to be apart and then reconnect like nothing ever happened? that was really disappointing ending, this series with all of its downfalls I think deserved a better ending, Apo character was so sweet and good hearted that i would have been very interesting to see him go thru some mild tragedy like loosing is ability to swing or inheriting a large empire and having to leave the club or something like that would have made a more interesting ending

Oh no. This could actually become one of my most favorite dramas, but in reality, I am so disappointed.I seriously love the characters. Every single of them, it doesn't happen often that you fall for over ten? characters, main or support ones.
But the plot is horrible.
Waii and Apo - Okay, less romantic moments, I take it. But I couldn't see their relationship's development. So, they started living together. Then, Waii almost raped Apo. And since then? I remember only Waii fighting against his own family and friend. In the last episodes, there actually started being some scenes between Waii and Apo, they fell for each other. I didn't see them being close at all, so how did it happen?
Min and Wan - Sorry, but I find the same problem here. I love them a lot too, but they got close out of nothing as well.
Fah, Pah and Namkhaeng - Oh no, what should I write here? At first, I really love Fah and Pah. Some people complain about them ending up together, but I am glad for them. I don't get Pah and Namkhaeng at all. Namkhaeng was in love for Fah, she totally ignored Pah's feelings so how come they were suddenly dating? I get Pah not being a lesbian, but a bisexual, Pah felt something towards Fah, but Namkhaeng has never ever seemed interested towards Pah. There was no chemistry between them.
Kan and Waii's father - Probably the only couple which I find absolutely good in the plot. I simply love them, the only weird thing was when Kan suddenly left for a year, but except that, they're so lovely.
I won't mention the rest.
Story 3/5 makes sense for these reasons.
Acting/cast 10/10 - My favorite part which I won't forget.
Music 8,5/10 - Some parts of different songs were suddenly cut out without a reason. But the music overall was great.
Rewatch value 5/10 - I just don't know. I am in love with the characters, but I am disappointed with the plot.
Overall 6,5/10 - I might change it in the future. I don't know if I should give it more or less, but after finishing the show, this is for now.

And I loved Waii and Apo.
Their stories weren’t always easy to watch. They didn’t always make the best decisions. The original members of the club were pretty much bullies, not really inherently bad, but spoiled brats who always got away with everything so they never had a reason to change and it took a lot of soul searching for them to become better people.
For me, the most interesting arcs were Pan & Fah’s and Waii & Apo’s. Mainly because Pan and Waii were so hard and aggressive and hostile, and Fah and Waii so soft and serene and kind. I also loved that both Pan and Waii were bi - Pan was leaning more towards women but she still fell for Fah; Waii was also leaning more towards women but he still fell for Apo. And I loved that the club members supported them both, that they never made an issue of Pan dating women or Waii, their captain, falling for a guy. They were all spoiled brats but this wasn’t an issue for them, go figure.
All in all, I loved this drama and I’m going to miss it. Especially Waii & Apo because the way their relationship developed so naturally and easily it was a pleasure to watch.

I have to be honest, I did enjoy the show there were some good moments. I love the music selection and the story was pretty good. Pros- Actors are super sexy and they were able to divide the screen time pretty go in my opinion. I like how the story progress and I like how you see the connect between the two main character developed. Cons: The main characters chemistry was a little off, I am not gonna say the were bad actors it just that I dont not feel that they were super comfortable doing the kissing scenes. Also kissing scene are super limited in this show. If you expecting some can of fan service forget about, there is none. Also the father of the show had very interesting story line and they did not develop that story line properly or spent time on that aspect. I lesbian in the show stayed a lesbian. Lesbians are not commonly represented in BL so seem them have one and then make her fall in love with a guy was pretty weak story telling for me.
All and all it a good show, to be honest this first bl that I have watch and would not recommend to my friend just because it a good enough story for them to stick around. but I enjoyed maybe you well too.

Was this review helpful to you?

the songs supported the story of the series
the way they tried to reveal why the main characters behaved in a certain behavior was okay, and how the love from a person could affect a person's behavior to be a better man. the chemistry between the 3 pairs as highlight of the series are improving throughout the episodes, and a nice closing though they forgot to take off their slippers before jumping to the pool though :)hoping to see season 2 of the series and see the progress of the relationship as well as the characters. the songs really supported the story of the series, especially in describing the youth, the emotional roller coaster in relationship.

Too messy storyline but the main pairing was great
First of all, I always skip a lot within episodes. However, in this case, it was.... excessive. I usually only skip a few seconds, but here it was up to a minute. I don't know if it was because I was watching the drama for the second time, but it didn't really manage to capture my attention.I know that the amount of plotlines contributes to that and it also is my first point of critique. The ideas themselves are good - it's the execution that is missing. I'm not sure if I captured it correctly, but to me, the focus of the storyline is not clear. If I'm not mistaken it should be on saving the swimming club and the evolving relationship between Waii and Apo. However, I feel like other potential relationships get almost as much screentime as the main pairing. I understand that those are important as well if you want to explain the relationships between all those people but the same things could probably have been shown in half of the time. If the screenwriters and producers had put their focus a little more clear and had not decided to use literally every cliché seemingly possible this drama could have turned out a lot better than it did.
And, did they really portray rape? I'm sorry but if there are no consequences it looks like they're trying to normalize it. There hasn't been any discussion or any other consequences to the relationship between them which doesn't sit well with me. Then there also are bullying and manipulation. According to the only girl in the club, the members of the swimming club can't express their feelings well and often end up hurting people they care about because of it. Another thing that I didn't like is that the only 'lesbian' suddenly becomes bisexual. It wasn't necessary.
I think the cast did pretty well, I especially like how New portrayed Apo. I think he really shines and managed to convey Apo's feelings well. The chemistry between Waii and Apo seems to be quite good as well after the first two quite awkward episodes. For the others, their performances weren't outstanding but still okay.
I got to say that I didn't really pay attention to the music. What often threw me off are little audio breaks whenever there is a cut to another scene. I'm not sure if this only happens because I need new headphones or if it really is the case, but it always strikes me as odd if I don't hear any sound at all.
About the rewatch value: I was re-watching it right now because I had forgotten about literally everything except for "Thai bl drama swimming pool", and I got to admit, that's probably all I will remember after rewatching it. So I guess that the re-watch value isn't too high.

I didn't want to write a review at the beginning . 5 episodes in and I still wasn't sure where the writers were going with this story. But episode 6 onwards the drama started to unpack and the mysterious beef among some of the members started to unravel. From there, I got hooked on the episodes and kept watching till the end. New's Apo really captivated me with his facial expressions. Through his acting , you can feel how raw his emotions are on screen and he oozes the kind of aura that makes you want to see more of him. I struggled to understand the complications behind Min and Wan's story, Wan's character had so much potential but the added complications really ruined it for me. I wasn't entirely offended that a lesbian was turned straight at the end, in fact, I see it as Pan falling in love with Fah's personality and character, not his gender. Which is a good thing to promote- love knows no gender. It's the same thing as a straight man falling for men in other BL storylines. I was furious during the first 6 episodes as it made it look like Waii's attempted rape, Pan and Kluay's bullying incident were not serious enough and I felt the messaging could be clearer that this is not okay and the characters need to suffer more or show remorse. In summary, it's a show about people accepting differences, overcoming their biases, suffering their wrong decisions and coming back from failures. And i need to add, Earth's Waii has 0% body fat!!! That bod is wow. Was this review helpful to you?
Some couples could have had a better ending, and some more screen time, and some issues could have taken more time to be solved, bringing in more reality to the show.
I was addicted to it, and none of the things I've commented above have made me enjoy less the show, as none of them were really a problem. Highly recommend!

More romanticizing r@pe
StoryThe whole thing with his dad is understandably kinda gross. I didn't really like it to be honest. I also didn't like the once again romanticizing r@pe scene. I also didn't enjoy that one of the first lesbian characters ends up with no girlfriend. Otherwise I think that the plot is good. I like the little friendship misunderstanding thing that whole going on throughout the group and that they talked it out later.
Acting/Cast
To be honest again I really think there is more chemistry between New and Tay rather than with Earth. I think that Earth was also a little awkward. Don't get me wrong he is an amazing actor but he was a little awkward in some of the scenes.
Music
I love the OST and the fact that Victor sings it. It is the finest wine on the shelf.
Overall
I really recommend watching it!!! Other than a few personal thoughts about it it is fantastic.
