Both are set in universities, while together with me deals with a more heavier storyline such as enternal homophobia, fish soon a sky is more light hearted, fluffy and cute... But definitely both are worth the watch.... And both are BLs, soooo

this gives me maxtul vibes with childhood besties involved. together with me is Childhood friends Korn and Knock reunite in college and This is series is a MUST WATCH for all BL lovers. It hits all the right spots and leaves you wanting more! I highly recommend it and I promise that you'll be hooked!

As is expected, due to them sharing the same name, this season continues to focus on the trials and tribulations of Korn and Knock- whilst not being as good as 'Together With Me', both series share an obstacle to their relationship- though in 'The Next Chapter', the effect of it is much more profound.

Both dramas deal with real LGBTQ+ characters, both Are set in a college setting, both have great acting

Thai BL series. both are about a group of friends in highschool/college and the female best friend of the leads has a very similar personality. Both include drama and LGBT issues.

Gameboys portrays reality. It narrates a story of two person in the middle of a lockdown. More than the lovestory, it uses itself to educate its audience with regards to socially relevant issies like LGBT Issues (coming out, acceptance, heteronormative gender roles), mental health, tourism in the Philippines and Covid-19 issues.

This is what seperates Gameboys from their contemporaries. They are not just after the kilig or entertainment. They empower their audience.

Both deal with university students navigating their first gay relationship, neither have a major focus on actual school and moreso the extra-curriculars and relationships. They both take a more mature tone, though Together With Me is a little more mature based solely on how far the scenes actually go (*wiggling eyebrows*). They both have that sort of aggressive, "I love you but screw you" kind of dynamic.

Aim who played Plern Pleng, Knock's girlfriend... now ex will be part of What the duck. She is also the girlfriend of one of the guys but different from TWM's Plern Pleng, she has a story to follow. Not someone who plays the villain between two guys.
