Main Lead Characters:
1. On Jeong Sun - For a rookie actor, I was pleasantly surprised by Yang Se Jong's portrayal of a man who is honest and straightforward at love. The first few episodes showcase Jeong Sun's strong pursuit towards Hyun Soo despite having met her for a few hours and chatting briefly online. I appreciate that he does not contemplate deeply on whether it's worth dating Hyun Soo, a woman who is older and arguably arrogant. He's the type of character that lives for the moment but can also provide that surety on what he wants. However, he is also vulnerable and his best armour is 'suppression' of his emotions to handle painful situations. When he does break free from this shield, you see the utmost sincerity of a struggling man. Finally, his speech is witty and you can't help but fall into a trance.
2. Lee Hyun Soo - Undeniably, there are some frustrations with her character. The main point is that she is the epitome of being a woman - unsure at times, insecure and shamelessly independent but needs help. At the beginning, she uses her older age as a leverage to keep Jeong Sun at arm's length. She flirts here and there. She's vulnerable here and there. Worst of all, she makes the assumption that he will be there when he needs her; this is what she envisions a man is like in her writing. After Jeong Sun's leave to France does she understand that her ungrounded arrogance gave her a cold temperature of love. Again, Hyun Soo spares us all the wittiness in the world. Her words are carefully crafted and her realisation is satisfying. Her only symptom of weakness is her righteousness. But hey, aren't we all a little bit righteous?
Plot:
I thought it was beautifully written, with fewer fallacies than other romance dramas. The biggest lesson is that we will all let that 'almost-could-have-been' person get away and we need to grasp onto it if we are given second chances. This is a theme that is portrayed well. Throughout the drama, you will experience the 'shaking up' of CEO Jeong Woo, Jeong Sun's mother and others. Each supporting character's interference into the main leads' life is intentional and somewhat selfish. This is, however, the charm of the drama. The storyline is realistic enough to incorporate human flaws and keep you pondering on how vulnerable we are to these traits.
If you are expecting a convoluted plot full of betrayals and misunderstanding, this is not it. This is a humanistic drama centralising on the themes of love in partnership, friendship and family. It may be slow at times but you need to be patient to truly appreciate the writing.

Story : i like how the character talk each other.. what they talk and how they choose the word, i really like it... but that is the only part i like.. i hate the character itself because i feel all of them are so selfish.. I still dont get it why this always happen in korean drama.. "why the main femaie lead always become center of the world?" and there is another thing that i really hate from this drama.. They talked about "how to make a realistic story, but they write this kind of story?"Acting : that acting is good enough for me, but not all of them. i think 5 / 10 is enough..
music : there are no music that stuck in my head.. i cant remember one of them after i finished the drama.. so i don think its good enough for me..
rewatch value : i want to drop this drama in the second half.. but i try my best to finish this drama.. but after i finish all of episodes, i think i wont rewacth this drama again.

Overall, I'm definitely recommending this to people who enjoy professionally filmed dramas with a fast-slow paced type of plot. Yes, some parts are really boring and the story gets frustrating, but the end is worth savoring every minute of this drama!

Too tired to think about it...Did i enjoy at least some?
I feel like Peeping Tom, desiring to see the end of this.Tooooooo long!
As always, the drama had so many unnecessary moments and a rushed ending…
Pitiful characters, most of them…
I don’t know and don’t pay any attention to who is or are the writers. But I think this was written buy a woman for sure. I will not talk about female friendship, but male friendship, especially that where they considered themselves as brothers, will not have that kind of behaviour (like Jun Woo did with Jung Sun). Maintaining friendship and girl????
STORY - a couple that love eachother (but just one of them knows that) break up. I can't describe the plot, don't know if there is one.
It starts with some adults that writes about others behaving immaturely or with ignorance... Writers, businessman and a Chef.
I prefer the concept of Greenaway's The cook, the thief, his wife and her lover!...
Jun Woo seems a bright and conniving successful business man. How can he supposed to think that he could win Hyun Soo heart by destroying their relationship??? Could he? Could she fall in love for a man that tries to destroy her bf like that??
The story around scripts and dramas and writers wasn’t engaging to me. Maybe if we could see some of the development of the stories they wrote.
So, in the end, it all ends in the relation of Hyun Soo and Jung Sun. And that’s it. They were separated for 5 years, when he made a call and she didn’t answer. Was she supposed to know that he was traveling that day? No! So, WTF??? He loved her so much and went away with a call when going to the airport???
The other romantic relationships didn’t exist, except in concept (we know they were there) …
ACTING - The acting was nice. I like and have seen some works of most of them and I enjoy their performance.
MUSIC – don’t remember, so I think it was ok, but forgettable to me
REWATCH – no.! There are so many better dramas and I don’t remember any interesting scene to revisit.
OVERALL – very long, with a weak story and a boring plot. I like some of the dialogues, that part was good, especially between the ML and FL. If there is another romantic drama to see… maybe you can skip this. Or give it a try, the first episodes are not bad.

Full disclosure: I have been waiting 5 years to watch Seo Hyun Jin in a lead role since Mr Oh isComing( I probably will get that subbed myself)
Back to the story, a lot of retconned were used which I didn't exactly like but apart from that it was simply refreshing.
Kim Jae Wook is very popular from comments on the drama, but I am never a fan of a daddy long legs character. His character took a bad turn but I guess that is realistic, humans are self-serving.
I loved how this story defined love: do you love the heart of the person? Do you love the person the way they are and dont try to change them?
Do you wait for your significant other or do you run to them?
I enjoyed how the hypocritical nature of humans was addressed. Humans are fickle, and that fickleness makes us perfectly flawed
On the second female lead's romance.. that was the usual fare and disappointing. It reminds me of stories in which an ugly girl has to be changed into a pretty girl by the male lead. An antithesis of the main couple. The Kazuya and Aya Omasa drama comes to mind... (Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge)
It is a story for grown-ups and quite laid back
I liked how business and writing worlds were portrayed
There is no gift without strings attached.
If you want something different you will enjoy this
And the male lead striking resemblance to the actor from Tomorrow With you is shocking

The story was pretty good in the beginning, but as the love triangle started and it continued to develop, I felt like I was wasting my time. First off, when the two main characters meet, it was a good story. As it developed to where a love triangle was being created, I honestly thought she was going to end up with the third person in the triangle. Because who wouldn't like a hot rich man as their lover? But instead, she chose her first love who was honestly kind of wary because he felt the competition from the third person. The way the writers developed the characters and the love triangle, it made me very bored to the extent that I did a lot of skipping in the drama more than I usually do. The only good thing about this drama was the acting and chemistry in it, as well as the music. The OSTs were well-suited for the scenes and the chemistry was really strong between the characters and their acting.
Overall, I would not reccommend this drama to anyone and if you are bored and want to kill time, this is a good way to do it. Just by watching this drama.

Many people would disagree but I loved this drama. I'm sad that it has such low ratings but I do understand and agree with most of the negative reviews. I almost didn't watch this drama due to its bad reviews but I am so glad I did. When I watched the first episode, I knew there was no turning back. The romance starts right from the start. I love fast-paced romance drama because there are no confusions or huge misunderstandings among the characters.
Story: I do agree that the story dragged out from around episode 20-30 and that they probably could have made it only 30 episodes long. But the reason why I still gave the story 8.5/10 because of it's fast paced romance and really realistic story plot. I also loved how the writer tied up the end very nicely.
Acting/Cast: UGH I love Yang Se Jong and Seo Hyun Jin together! There chemistry was so good and so believable. I know that some people disagree but I thought they did really good at creating a romantic atmosphere. Even though Yang Se Jong is only a new actor, his acting was on point. All the facial expressions were so cute (including Seo Hyun Jin's).
Music: Some people didn't like the elevator music but I love it. I think it sets the mood for a lot of the kitchen scenes. Also the original soundtracks are so light and lovely to listen to. 10/10
Rewatch value: I am already rewatching this drama for the third time. Because of the really realistic aspect of the story line and well crafted conversations, I enjoy rewatching the drama over again. Some dramas that I loved like My Secret Romance and Strong Woman Do Bong Soon were hard to rewatch because cliche stories are kind of pointless to rewatch because you already know what is going to happen (in My Secret Romance) and also because I hate scary and violent stuff, I can't rewatch Strong Woman Do Bong Soon but I still rewatch the non scary cute romance scenes on youtube.

Its story about falling in love
Some people might get bored watching this but i jave 9 because , the story line is very realistic and it is not similar stories that you see in kdramas, This one really differentThe story is about solving real life, their career problems, along with love, Its a good drama to watch , there are lot of life lessons and hardships, The writer is good, he did lot of research probably came up with this story.
Many people would have expected more romance i guess, may be would have been nice for viewers but the drama is not about romance, The ending was also very different, i would say its really thoughtful from writer, exactly it should end like that. The male and female leads was perfectly for the roles

The reason I had trouble for this one was because I felt like overall it was more of an 8.5 to me than the 9 I ended up giving it. So why did I give it a 9 instead?
Well I really like the characters in this one. Even though I never cried, or got super excited watching this one, I felt for the characters. THe main actress is really great, and her assistant writer friend was absolutely adorable. Every character felt like their own person.
While I felt like the drama could of been much shorter, they could of easily cut out at least 10 episodes, I don't feel like it being this long was too much of a detriment to it. I don't mind the longer than average run length because I enjoyed seeing the characters.
There are some things I did not enjoy very much about this though. I felt like there were a couple times where the "drama" that had happened was forced, and that if these were real people than it would of gotten solved immediately.
Also, something I noticed in this drama that made me realize something about Kdramas drove me crazy. Why does no one ever leave a voice mail? This entire drama, there were a lot of missed phone calls, but I believe there was only 1 time where someone actually left a voicemail instead of just hanging up and assuming the worst. Seriously, do phones work differently in korea and leaving a voicemail is not common?
Anyway, overall I feel like this drama was worth the watch. I enjoyed it, and got to see Seo Hyun Jin in another role.
I recommend this drama

For seven months I thought that I will get on with it but that just doesn't seem to be the case. The problem is not when you watch drama, I found myself quite interested in the storyline, but it's the motivation to continue with it, that prompted me to just read the synopsis of following eps and be done with it. It just is too long for what the plot it and the second half becomes so inconsistent with the behaviour of the characters that I almost felt a bit cheated.
And it is a shame. Temperature of Love has a lot going for it in the initial episodes, they are almost addicting. All of the main characters are so sweet and quite unique. The cast is excellent, there is not a single performance that I did not like. The chemistry between SHJ and YSJ is killer, and the friendship between YSJ and KJW is also very well done. I also really liked the character of chef On's mother. What a great perspective on the typical male lead's mother. And then it all sort of drifts into prolonged and repeated motives and conversations.
I almost feel sorry that I did not finish it, but I lack the motivation to. Maybe someday, but I doubt it.
