Both are socially aware films that focus on discrimination and oppression of those who are weak in society (those who are poor or those who are immigrants or unattractive).

Parasite is based more on moral focus.
These two drama and movie are different sides of the same coin.

Both deal with being poor and getting into a rich family while pretending to be someone else. While parasite has a more psychological approach, they both deal with the heavy tool of being poor in Korea and family life.

The stories are very different but the way the story is executed cinematically actually feels similar and they both uses the nuances of dark comedy pretty well. Both are great movies and contain some of the most graphic gore scenes in a movie anywhere.

-They are both dark psychological thrillers.
-The cinematography in "Lies Hidden in My Garden" is similar to that of "Parasite".
-They both give off eerie vibes.

Both are fully deserving Cannes’ Palme d'Or winners. Each film is social commentary on what a broken economic system can force people to do when in dire straits. They both centered on poor urban family, clinging to the fringes of society, who gets by through scheming and stealing.

If you find yourself empathizing with the Kim family in Parasite, it is because the film tried to humanize them by showing their close family bonds and loyalty to one another. You'll see this in Shoplifters too. They are also some twists in the plot of Shoplifters but I shall not spoil it for you. :)

One shows a dramatic side and the other humorous

Both shed a light on morality and human nature.
There is a lot of lying involved and the more you uncover the more uneasy you feel.
They both made me think a lot after finishing the drama.

Very similar although there are major differences: «Parasite» is more about drama, and «Creepy» is more focused on crime. Overall, same vibes. Oh, and basements.
