The Story of Ming Lan Episode 71
While Ting Ye is imprisoned, close friends and family support Ming Lan to celebrate their 1-month-old son. During the chaos, an assassin infiltrates the celebration. Armed with new evidence, Ming Lan stubbornly beats the drum to file a complaint but the emperor won't see her. Exhausted from her efforts, she passes out and is helped by the empress. At Liang House, Mo Lan is dealing with issues of his own.

Mo Lan can keep being arrogant, retribution was on his way anyway to her. Can't wait to see her despair. I can predict who tried to assassinate Tuan'er, it must be that vicious bitch manniang! Oh... Fengxian?? I'm shocked coz she was very good at martial arts too. You know what, myb this was all a ruse by the Emperor to lure the Empress Dowager out and make her shows her cards. Tsk tsk serve molan right. How did she do exactly the same thing as her mother did?? She was so evil and shameless meeting minglan face to face and even talked about pardoning her mother. I thought she was clever but clearly not, talking abt following her mother's teaching pfttt didn't she remember her mom ending?
