The spell make both of the male lead to fell in love with the female lead in the beginning of the episodes.

- both male lead is related to the heaven/gods/deity
- both female lead are destined to die
- both male lead wants to save the female lead
- at the beginning, both male lead didn't much care about the female lead
- at the beginning, both drama leads wants the other to love them ( somehow ) to save their lives. [ A Korean Odyssey- the female lead put on a bracelet on the male so that the male " loves" her and won't kill her ] [ Doom At Your Service- The female wants to love the male lead so that she won't die and she won't lose anything that way too ]
- gives off similar vibes :>
•A Little Spoiler Ahead• ( not sure if this is considered a spoiler )
In A Korean Odyssey, the female was the one who died but the male went to find her at the other world ( other world?? i think- ) so if Doom At Your Service is similar to that, the ending should be the same at most ( either the male or the female has to die ) *NOT CONFIRMED, THIS IS JUST ONE OF MY OPINION*

They are both brilliant dramas, i thoroughly enjoyed both. Both the FL have been gifted from birth with a special power that they must learn how to use and control. Both have 2 ML protectors of sorts only difference is in KO the protectors started of wanting to eat the FL to absorb her powers but end up protecting her quite quickly early on in the series. Both dramas ML can't help falling in love at first sight with FL. If you love one drama you will love the other drama its just a shame they never made a seconds season of KO.

Both have demons and the ML not being human. They both have the ML having to protect the FL, and the ML also needing the FL in regards to his own powers.

Ghosts and good chemistry between leads. There are a lot of little mysteries in A Korean Odyssey, whereas in The Ghost Bride there is one big mystery.

1- both stories cover these genres: Action, Suspense, Mystery, Romance, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Melodrama.
2- the lead male and female fall in love unexpectedly.
3- an interesting enemy the comes unexpectedly in every part of the story.

Right after starting Guardian, it reminded me of this drama (fantasy-wise)

A Korean Odyssey is a lot more romantically based between male lead and female lead but both have a pretty solid fantasy background story and some good and some crappy CGI effects to show supernatural stuff.

This is a story involving vampires. It goes back to 350+ years when Baek Jung Won saved the vampire I Wha from being burned at the stake in his village. He fell off the cliff while they escaped and I Wha had to give him her blood in order to save him from dying and thus Baek Jung Won was transformed into a vampire also.
In the modern day Seoul, they opened a bar. One day, Baek Jung Won received a letter from his former lover who was dying and entrusted him to look after her daughter, Jang Ji Yun. Baek Jung Won fell in love with this woman some 20 years ago but broke up without telling her the truth about himself. After her mother's funeral, Jang Ji Yun found a picture that her mother treasured a lot with someone looking like Baek Jung Won in it and she set out to look for him. When she finally found him, she thought he was the son of her mother's long lost lover as Baek Jung Won's appearance didn't change as a vampire. They start to fall in love and I Wha has difficulty dealing with that. At the same time, a serial killer who sucks blood from the victims is on the loose

Both shows have the same light-hearted vibe, even though the leads have also faced some difficulties. In addition both shows:
> Showcase a hate to love / enemies to lover type of relationship.
> The FLs tended to keep people at bay due to a past trauma.
> There's a slight love triangle which, thankfully, gets abandoned.
> ML is extremely sweet towards the FL and almost acts like a different person.

Both are fantasy korean dramas written by famous screenwriter duo, Hong Sisters. A Korean Odyssey is a modern fantasy, AoS is a historical fantasy. Both dramas included special powers and great CGIs. Amazing casts and great chemistry.

Both dramas have a similar feel due to being fantasy based with the characters having inexplicable powers.

The drama series is based on classic Chinese novel “Journey to the West,” but reinterprets the story into the present day and has a romantic-fantasy twist.
