Cheese but bingeworthy
Does this Drama have a whif of Hallmark? Yes!But that does not mean it's bad, quite the contrary, the Main's chemistry is good and while it has some goofy moments, it also has some moments that makes you think, specially about how some women are treated by their bosses around the world and that is a point in favour of this drama.
Story wise it has the same premise as many other workplace romance dramas out there but, thanks to all above and the relatable FL, it stands out on it's own

I don't like love triangles, so I picked this up after seeing it on the list of a like minded individual. I don't regret watching the show, it was entertaining enough. It's just that everything about the drama is somewhere inbetween good and mediocre. The comedy is present, but I felt that the show could've been much funnier. I enjoyed the romance, but I did not feel blown away by the main couple's chemistry. There is very little relationship related makjang in the show, they talk about the occasional problem like adults and there is no breakup or a forced separation so that's a big plus going for this drama. Even the "ohnoez he is a divorcee" mom & the semi psychotic ex-wife were bearable. The quality of entertainment drops at around episode 12-15. All the office BS felt boring to watch and there were fewer romantic scenes & no progress in their relationship until the last episode. People like bashing Secretary Kim these days, however I believe that the office romance thing is hugely more entertaining there. WWWSK had just as many, if not more office related scenes, but somehow it was a lot better. The creators did not delve into scheming nearly as much in that show, nor did they have cartoon villainy adversaries etc.
The miscellaneous characters are great actors, I've seen many of them shine in other dramas, but most of their performances fell short in Jugglers. It's like they were collectively lacking enthusiasm and drive in this drama. It could be just me, but it felt that the scenes involving the "crew" could only be described as dull. Even the ever so brilliant comedienne Park Kyung Hye's character felt bland in this drama, I mean how is that even possible???
Obviously this show for the most part did not take itself very seriously & that's how it should be in a cheesy romcom like this, however Bona's character did not fit the show. Her sob background story & her actions felt out of place. (show not taking itself seriously vs. really serious Bona vs. cartoon villain boss of Bona )Let's not even talk about her redemption ark thing.

Good but not new!
Generally speaking, I enjoyed watching this drama.First of all, even though I liked the theme of this drama the love story isn't something new. It's a story of a boss that seems cold and distant (but actually isn't) and of an employee that will do anything for her boss with a bubbly personality.
This isn't the type of drama that gets you super hyped up to watch what's going to happen next, but it's still enjoyable to watch it. Plus it's not the kind of drama that makes you cry your eyes out.
What I actually loved the most was the girl power shown in this drama as well seeing girls supporting girls which isn't something that you'll see every day.
On top of that, this drama discusses some societal issues that working moms have to face in Korean society since they're supposed to raise their children and that because of that they're automatically seen as not so good workers...

Light, Warm and Fluffy
I don't get it that why are there so many negative reviews, was I watching something different from them.Although I am no professional critic but I admit being a kdrama addict therefore believe me when I say out of all similar drama there are only three that i liked the best i.e. Jugglers, Her private life, My Shy Boss.
There is this one scene in last episode that had me rolling around in laughter " I am a sweet guy ", those who had watched will understand.
P.S. : I have watched whats wrong with secretary Kim and i didn't like it at all ( If you don't believe me then watch her private life first before watching it)

A Light Hearted Romance To Pass The Time
Fun Fact: This film made a cameo in "Crazy Love"After finishing Jugglers, I would definitely say it's a great light-hearted drama for passing the time. Depending on one's taste, the acting, story and conflicts may seem a bit obnoxious and overly dramatic; But these aspects contributed to formulating a playful and comedic atmosphere in which every threat and conflict made, would be taken with a grain of salt. The overall drama depicts various perspectives that convey meaningful messages for those who struggle in varying situations and how each character reacts and adapts to find a solution to their problems. Much like life, not all characters made the right decisions but eventually come to terms with their mistake and seek in finding resolution.
STORY: (Spoilers)
The main story focuses on Jwa Yoon Yi who is a 29-year-old woman about to reach her 30's struggling to find a stable relationship due to her job as the assistant of a married, cheating womanizer, who calls her at any hour to hide his scandalous acts from his wife. Despite her destain for his disreputable nature, she continues to assist him in hopes he would take her up the corporal ladder for promotion and an increase to her annual salary. This dream is only short-lived when her boss uses her as a scapegoat to hide all his scandalous acts as though he was seduced and only having an affair with his assistant Yoon Yi, due to this Yoon Yi loses her job and is placed on a waiting list of blacklisted assistants.
Prior to Yoon Yi's downfall in her career, she briefly meets our Male Lead Nam Chi Won while running an errand and becoming a victim of a traffic accident in which she insists to Nam Chi Won that she is fine so the encounter could be brushed off as a minor accident. We later come to discover that Nam Chi Won is in fact a Managing Director and a candidate to become the vice-president of the same company Yoon Yi works for.
The story evolves quickly to Yoon Yi eventually becoming the assistant of Chi Won who is the only manager in the company preferring not to have an assistant due to his quiet but stern and desolate nature. However, despite a rocky start to their relationship a series of events and coincidences leads to Chi Won slowly becoming fond of Yoon Yi, this fondness is slightly deepened when he drives her home after a night out drinking to discover she now owns and lives in his childhood home and is looking for a tenant for the upper level. Harbouring only a tragic memory of the place, and hopes of overcoming a trauma developed from those tragic memories, he decides to move into the upper level. Now co-habilitating in the same building separately they start to form a closer relationship and find themselves relying on each other during troublesome situations both at home and at work.
The main conflict of the drama is the battle for the seat of vice-president between Chi Won (whose interest isn't peaked until he starts to form a bond with Yoon Yi) and Jo Sang Moo the "main villain" of the drama. There are also conflicts occurring between Yoon Yi and one of her four close friends Ma Bo Na who happens to be the assistant of Jo San Moo. The following events lead to the conclusion of the drama which plays out and is resolved predictably.
FINAL STATEMENT:
The overall story of romance was quite beautiful whilst the important messages left for us viewers were indeed profound. I would recommend this drama to anyone seeking a quick watch to relieve themselves of any recent intense dramas and are seeking a light-hearted romance that is quite far from the intensity of melodrama.

I would rewatch this drama
Probably the best way to express me feelings about this drama is that I would rewatch this drama. It is the kind of tropey rom com I like my Kdramas to be.
1. The story had enough Consistency for me to create a world and live in the drama for a bit
2. A mature handling of a growing relationship. No silly games just straight forward expression of feelings.
3. Strong serious male lead. The ML‘s aloofness and reason for being the way he well handled. Same with the 2nd ML - perfectly handled why he was so childish. (Best character/acting in the drama).
4. Relatable comedy. The comedic characters and villains were over the top but in a good way. In a way that you knew the drama was doing it intentionally and you got the point and chuckled over it.
5. Emotions. Enough crying, men and women, just enough meddling mums and chaebol issues and supportive friendships, bromance (best part ). Etc
6.low on the angst. Where there was some and you are half expecting some silly decision to amp up the angst, the writers quickly resolved it.
8. A clear message . This is about sexual harassment in the workplace. Also a message that when we turn a blind eye we are part of the problems. We need to make a moral stand.
7. Perfect cliche happy ending.
I would rewatch to just see all the times they poke fun at the cliches in Kdramas while they go right ahead and do the same. Quite witty and lots of fun.
I think if you watch a few rom com Kdramas first to understand the tropes and the distinct cultural flavour you find find this is simply a little gem of a drama.
Has the feel of 1% of something .

They didn't even try
A very bland and uninspiring office romance drama. Absolutely nothing stands out about it, not even the chemistry. The backstories were boring as well. They sprinkled a few side stories at the beginning but only gave attention to the main one while the rest ended up being neglected. Even the main couple's story ended up being underdeveloped. On a side note, it's another drama where they draw parallels with Kim Tae Hee for being the beauty standard. For the past 20-something years, Korean writers are still placing Kim Tae Hee as the benchmark of beauty and I still don't know why.Was this review helpful to you?
Boring/Uninteresting
Gosh, this drama was not it. The Lead couples are boring and uninteresting. This drama was a predictable drama, like every other drama but less interest. The lead male had a cool and mean attitude at first than become soft when he meet the female lead. Very tropical. It's like they were trying to rush the whole drama, it was boring. They tried to make some plot twist and come up with scandals but these only last so long.
I finished it, but wasn't really excited to watch itThe Second lead couples were more interesting than the lead couples, (-‸ლ)ᴳᴼˢᴴ
Even if I loose my memories, I wouldn't want to watch this drama every again. A waste of my time.💔

If you liked “My Shy Boss” This has similar elements
8.5/10 is my rating. This is a 2017/2018 romantic comedy television series that has 16, 60 minute episodes.Jwa Yoon-yi (Baek Jin-hee) prides herself on being the perfect secretary even though her boss is too busy cheating on his wife to notIce. Like every secretary who tries to have their own life around juggling every aspect of their boss’s, she looks happy on the outside but is stressed and miserable on the inside. When scandal breaks out around her boss, Yoon-hi is let go. Nam Chi-won (Choi Daniel) arrives at the company at about the same time as a super star new Director. While he is very skilled in business he is totally lacking in social skills which earns him a lot of enemies. One of those enemies, knowing Yoon-yi is desperate to get back to work pulls strings to bring her back on but as Chi-won’s secretary. He figures he can plant a spy to bring Chi-won down. But he does not know Yoon-yi and her ability to make her boss shine. Hwangbo Yul (Lee Won-keun) is a 3rd generation chaebol who seems to have everything except many people in his life who truly care. He does not take work seriously and cannot keep a secretary because he is immature and unreasonably demanding. He has decided that Chi-won is cool and would make a good Hyung. Yul is also intrigued by Chi-won’s secretary and in lieu of luring her away accepts her recommendation for a secretary who is Wang Jeong-ae (Kang Hye-jung) a single mother who was abandoned by her philandering husband and left penniless and desperate for a job. The problem is Yul has criteria for his secretary that would exclude Jeong-ae so she has to pretend to be her younger sister and not a separated housewife. Will this one of many secretaries be the one that makes Yul grow into the successful business person hiding deep inside?
spoiler alert.
I decided to watch this one because I had finished “My Shy Boss” (MSB) and was looking for other drama that had a male lead that was really shy or had similar personality issues. This one was recommended as having a cold and not very socially adept boss that was similar to the boss in MSB. Because of that I was a little concerned that the two dramas would be too similar. There was of course a love triangle in this, as well as a friend group, another side couple, and a Bromance or two. I like all those elements and really can’t get enough of them played out in many different ways. What reduced my enjoyment about three quarters of the way through was a romance that was juvenile and over-the-top on cringe factor for me. I know that people can be sort of silly when they first discover they love each other but the age of the people in this just made that behavior seem out of place and it broke the fourth wall for me. Still if you like my shy boss I would say that this parallels in enough elements that you would likely enjoy this as well. Of the two I like my shy boss just slightly better but this one was a very close second for that type of movie. I recommend this for a romantic comedy that has workplace issues and a slice of life for the way secretaries supports high-level executive positions.

Incredibly Underwhelming
Every part about this show is completely average and entirely forgettable. Upon immediately completing this drama, I had forgotten the entire plot and was left with reminiscing on occasional cute scenes between the two main leads. The show itself isn't bad in any way and is overall fairly lighthearted, yet nothing about it is compelling enough to suggest rewatching it. To be completely honest, I recommend spending your time watching another show with an actual plot rather than this mundane series. Was this review helpful to you?
Funny and cute drama
This drama has some really funny bits that will have you giggling non stop. Overall, I thought it had a good storyline, and though certain parts will maybe be cliché to some, I was just glad this drama didn't have the typical "let's break up for no apparent reason and get back together" kind of plot. The main characters had good chemistry too and Daniel Choi really looked good! The romance between the 2 was really cute and funny at times and I felt both characters played their roles well.
You know an OST is good when you want to download it so that's exactly what happened.
So in all, it was a really good lighthearted Office Rom-Com.

Very mediocre
Nothing bad about this drama but nothing great either.Just an average run of the mill story full of clichés.
Clichés are fine in a rom com where there is sizzling chemistry and great story.
Here the chemistry was tepid - especially the last kiss where they tried the acrobatic feat of kissing with a four feet distance.
Except the second male lead, no character was interesting.
A little bit of overacting from a bunch of side actors like the mother, the boss's wife etc.
Sigh - what a waste of a cute male lead.
