Such a wholesome and heartwarming drama ♡ Great casting and screenplay !
This show has been in my wishlist since 2020, which was 2 years ago from now. I haven't seen most of the actors before so it took me a while to get around to watching it. When I saw the first epi, I realised I had seen the male lead in find yourself and his acting was quite good. I personally love highschool dramas a lot so i may be biased while writing this review but I adore this drama now that i have finished. From the background score to the casting to the way the characters have been portrayed and how they have evolved throughout the show deserves to be appreciated. The scenes have been acted out so well and the narration is great. A sweet simple lovestory yet so wholesome, I cannot put into words how full my heart is. I love how the story unfolds and the minutest details, the bond between the female lead, her brother, her bestfriend is beautiful. There is no second lead syndrome, the story focuses on the leads and how they manage through the ups and downs in their lives. The story throws light on everyone's life rather than just focusing on the leads which makes it enjoyable. It is supplied with just the right amount of humour. Barely any episode felt tiring, I enjoyed every episode. Definitely has become my comfort show because the last episode leaves you with a feeling of fulfilment and happiness as everything settles down. I recommend it to everyone who's looking for something light hearted.♥Was this review helpful to you?
I went completely blind into this drama not knowing the plot or what to expect. Fellow drama lovers recommended and I had time to spare. And once I was done with this, (binged watched in 2 days) I loved loved loved this one.
I don't know how to explain. The plot is pretty normal and mundane which you have heard countless times, but there is something refreshing about this drama. Maybe because its based on the real life love story of the author. May be thats why is so realistic and makes me also feel the love and experience it through the screen.
I normally don't write reviews. But I really had to do one for this one. Also I would recommend to read the novel. And English adaptation is available on Wattpad if you search 'I Don't Like the World, I Only Like You'.

The pain of that damn 6 years when they separated is real. They have liked each other since high school but didnt have the chance to confess. I was so happy to know right from the start that they got married! Le Coup de Foudre teaches us about family, friendship, love, and life. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS DRAMA! Definitely one of the best cdramas I've ever watched <3

The storyline is very typical. The drama revolves around the love story of the smartest guy in the class and his dumb seatmate. But the beauty is not the in plot, but in the lovely characters, their lines, the lessons, the feelings it brings. It gave me memories that don't even belong to me. Each character has so many colors and layers, they are very distinct yet I found myself relating to them, as if their happiness and pain were my own. The characters made me laughed, wept, fell in love, broke my heart and fell in love all over again like I was experiencing them for the very firs time.
Most of all, the drama is a rare treasure box filled with precious and valuable lessons. It smartly addressed taboo topics such as bullying, domestic violence, divorce, abortion and family issues not to change our views but to bring awareness. They are not excessive nor impolite, they are just there like a part of the story yet they would find their way into your heart

THIS DRAMA REALLY REALLY GOOD!! MUST WATCH!! I LOVE ZHAO GUANCHAO AND HAO WUYI STORY SO MUCH.. THEY HAVE BEEN THROUGH ALL FOR BEING TOGETHER AT THE END!!! I HOPE NEXT THEY WILL HAVE ANOTHER DRAMA TOGETHER AS LEAD, I WILL WAITING UNTIL THAT HAPPEN!!
I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS DRAMA IS MA LI'S DEBUT, BECAUSE OH MAN, SHE IS REALLY GOOD, I WILL ROOT FOR YOU... AND ZHAO ZHI WEI SO HANDSOME.. I LIKE THEIR CHEMISTRY TOGETHER (EVEN BEHIND THE SCENE THEY LOOK SO GOOD).

I actually don't know if I have the right words to describe this drama. Lemme just say one word: real.This story is one of the best I've watched, since the start til the end, everything is amazing. I can say that til episode 20-27 everything was depressing. Yes, this drama is depressing for various episodes. It has made me cry a lot, and the feelings that it made me feel...oh, so real. Above all, I loved the female lead's family. Such a supportive family, the parents and the brother (her twin!!) are amazing and love her unconditionally. The way her brother always put her and his family in the first place is just so beautiful to see. The most caring and selfless character. When I talk about selflessness, I think bout the main female too. She is for sure my favorite character, even though I had a lot of stress because of her mute ass (lol), she has such a pure heart. Gotta love her. The friendship between her and Wuyi (the best friend) was amazing too. Truly real friends.
About the main couple: they made me really angry at times, but I appreciated the fact that even that they were years without see each other, when they came back they had no sorrows and didn't let this affect their relationship.
One thing I really disliked about most the characters: the constantly lying. Oh my God, you gonna die if you try say the truth for once? There were a lot of times when they just couldn't say the truth at first and it dragged a lot and caused a lot of problems and UGHHH. Mad me mad.
Overall, loved that drama and I highly recommend to everyone. Go watch it ❤️

It's a perfect slice of life
It contained so many important life lessons! It's an amazing slice of life full of heartwarming moments in which you cry and laugh so much. Every character has so much depth and you learn so much from this drama. The romance not only of the main couple but of all the side couples was super cute!The only downside is that the setting changes in an office romance for the second half where ironically there isn't much romance going on. The second couple shines more during those episodes. However the ending is perfect and all stories are eventually given the closures they deserve.
The female lead really knows how to act, in all the dramas I watched of her. The actor playing the brother also has amazing acting skills. The bonding between the siblings is one of the best ì have ever watched.

i died so much at all the fluffiness and chemistry between the two main leads and hyperventilate whenever romance sparks in the air for the couple. Once you get hooked on this drama, there is no way out. I have rewatched this more than 5 times and i am unable to move on to new dramas even after finishing all episodes. I love the couple so much, i swear. The ost for the drama opening too, damn. it’s even on my spotify top song for 2019 because i jam to it almost every single day. This is how much the drama has affected me. I swear i need a life right now.

Sweet and nice drama
Liked this drama. Even though ML is shown as cold faced i actually liked him. He is sweet and sometimes funny. FL is good too. But I liked her character much in after leap story where she expresses herself more. What i liked most about this drama is chemistry between twins. They are really really good. I loved their bond. Her brother's role is good too. He is sweet and caring. (And good looking too) And i also loved relationship between FL and her father. FL friend was good in starting but i feel her character was more confusing in later parts. I feel like she looses her confidence as the story moves. Janice wu is just beautiful and so realistic that i fell in love with her.. after this i became such a big fan ive already watched most of her work and look forward to watch more !!!
The ost is amazing and some songs are already in my playlist!!
The lead actor is amazing toooo! And i really like how zhao guan chao and wu yi's story turned out!
Overall really worth watching amazing show!!!

For the story, I only put 8.5, merely because this is not a breakthough. Honestly, after reading the description, all of us can guess the story.
However, that doesn't mean this drama will disappoint you, because for this genre (about youth), even the story is familiar, believe me, you will still be fascinated by every episodes. You can find your youth in this drama anytime.
I won't discuss about the story of main characters as other reviews have mentioned already
What I like the most in this drama are mild but meaningful lessons that characters consolidated in each episode. They are also what we (audiences) should keep in mind. Beside the story about love, friendship and family are the other two major subjects that were conveyed poignantly

Things I liked and Things I disliked and my overall view and consensus
Things I liked:
The writing is so beautiful and there are a lot of scenes and lines that will tug at your heartstrings and will have you clutching a box of tissues.The acting is great,the amazing writing merged with the good delivery makes this show memorable.The relationships(probably my favourite aspect of the whole drama) are so heart warming,and this relates to the non-romantic ones too.The friendships,family all made me sob and laugh so much(special mention to the twins who made me bawl my eyes out and step dad,I adore you!).The whole cast has brilliant chemistry and managed to produce many awws from me.Speaking of chemistry,the main leads also did well in this regard. Janice Wu and Zhang Yu Jian worked so well together.Another thing I particularly enjoyed was that the show has so many lessons about friendship,family,misconceptions and love.com
Things I disliked:
The hazy camera effect(probably to emphasize the flashback feel of the story)annoyed me just a tad(all the factors above made it bearable)and i felt like it obscured certain things so it did bug me but this is just my opinion after all people have their own preferences so don't let this deter you,you might like the hazy effect after all.
Consensus: Go watch it!I highly recommend it.Despite receiving criticism from other viewers for having a slow start,please stick through it,you will not regret it.I really enjoyed it! Edit: I realised that I might have been a bit too lenient so I'm gonna edit my rating.
