Characters of Both the ML and FL are same though Hana yori dango is a bit over the top ... it features high school love ...

Both have sports as back ground, this time swimming.

Go Go Squid is better in the chemistry department though.

- introvert/cold ML
- innocent FL
- family against marriage
- ML and FL are first love for each other
- rivalry, friendship,love, life
- OGT fashion designing world
- GGS gaming world

NOTE: i saw BOSS & ME, LOVE 20, OUR GLAMOROUS TIME they are all nice but GO GO SQUID is by far much better cause FL express her emotions to ML not Blindly follow like other drama . and if you will watch GGS you will not find a single emotion that is not there . its full package of friendship, life, rivalry, disappointment, love , relations , emotions etc

Romantic Chinese dramas that involve games as a side story / main plot. There is a lot of sass between the main leads that eventually leads to a precious romance. Go Go Squid *does* however involve many side characters and e-sports, as an aside.

It’s a dominant, cold male that is approached by a determined female who is not put off my his coldness or his rejections. They don’t appear to have anything in common on the surface.

This is similar with role reversals. It’s a dominant, cold male fully determined to win over the female despite her rejections. They don’t appear to have anything in common on the surface.

Same sweet style romance without a lot of angst. Different story but similar tone. Cute and light hearted.

You are My Hero actually has a couple scenes where characters are watching Go Go Squid! I think both of them are novel adaptations. They feature a more serious ML who has a soft side for a very sweet FL. In Go Go Squid, this dynamic is much more extreme, but in You are My Hero, ML softens up more with FL and they end up in a more equal joking and fun relationship. What really reminds me of the two dramas is how mature the relationship is between the leads and how much they trust each other. Both MLs also have a sort of found family following because of their careers who really support the main relationship.

A much older successful and cold male develops a relationship with a younger female while his co-workers/employees and her best friend watch as it plays out.

Cold male lead
K&K reminded me of a cooler group of F4 (and they were a group of like 8 or 9)
Mom didn’t want them together (FL mom doesn’t like ML)
FL is bubbly and fun and has to teach ML how to love Both are new to relationship.

A seemingly odd couple composed of a cold male executive who pairs with a younger female and the relationship that slowly builds between. Both dramas start with fake relationships that develop into cute romance.

I feel that they are similar, because:
- in both the main protagonists and their best greatest rivals were best riends in the past, but now run rival companies;
- both shows involve games and sounds;
- the main male protagonist is regarded as a god by his fans;
- at the beginning the female chases around the guy as a stalker;
- the guy is a few years older than the girl and can be scary to his students.. the girl intervene to smooth his mood;
- the guy can be weirdly thoughtful to the girl in unusual ways, but doesn't know how to speak about his feelings well
