Best cast since Le Coup de Foudre
That is high praise for me as that is my favorite drama of all time. This has moved into my third after LCDF and ALSB. This cast was one of the best I have ever seen. They are all amazing people with well-flushed out back stories. There are no misunderstandings, except for the major one, and no real villains. But that doesn't mean the story is not interesting. This drama took a serious, yet light-hearted, look at trauma and what it does to one's personality and relationships. It made me feel literally every emotion in the book. I loved it from beginning to end.

They even break a cliche at the end, and it's done in such a fun way.
If you like fun dramas, with rock solid female lead acting, look no further.

Update: I just rewatched this drama to show to my Mom and I have to say this drama is even better on the second viewing. It just might be my favorite drama ever. (Though I just started watching dramas a few months ago so I bit of catching up on some of the older dramas. )

"Don't think, Feel".... *-*
I rarely feel the need to describe about a drama. but here I felt necessary to convey my emotions. This drama just gives you so much feels.. you laugh, you cry, you fight, you hesitate, you smile, you enjoy along with the characters.
Story - It is rather simple story but because it is more of interaction based and character oriented, It never disappoints you. At some points it even surprises you in good way (when Woo jin decided to stay or Seo ri didn't left), OR in bad way ( where Seo ri finds out her uncle had died). But feelings felt 100% real.
You get to see an amazing love story. There is a real relationship, there is care & support for each other and that is what keeps relationship going. Even in real life, you need care & support for each other rather than heartbeats & chemistry.
I have seen many dramas where couple hide many things from each other just not get the other one worrying. But that is where the main problem lies. The relationship falls after hiding things. I just finished watching Something in the Rain two days ago, I didn't really liked it. 30 but 17 feels really different. Woo jin and Seo ri share with each other everything - feelings, thoughts, future plans, even smaller things won't go missing if they are with each other.
Best thing no long term villain or bad character in the drama.
Acting/ Cast - Outstanding performances by everyone in the drama.
Shin hye sun is an amazing actress. I had watched her last in Stranger where her role was very serious which she had done amazingly. I wasn't ready to watch her acting as a 17 yr old. But she felt real as if she was Seo ri. And loved watching her transform from a teenager to a responsible adult.
Yang se jong is fabulous. When I watched him in Temperature of Love, I was rather disappointed in his character. but here I am all for him. Gong Woo jin is my Crescendo.. @_@. His transformation from desolate, miserable and heartbroken person to supporting, open minded and warm-hearted person is the key point for this drama. Woo jin is one of most favorite male leads for me. His undying support & understanding for Seo ri is heart melting. I loved as well as respected his character. I loved when he said to Kim tae hyung - "You never get anxious when you are sure about something." He was that kind of person. He gave time and patience to Seo ri which she needed the most.
Ahn Hyo sub - he is very good as Chan. his care and love for both Mr. Kang and Ajumma is very obvious. you can feel he is a responsible teenager who deeply cares about all the people around him.
Ye ji won - Her character Jennifer is a little closed off and stern. but you can feel she is warm hearted person from her actions. and don't forget her quotes. The quotes REALLY Teach you something good.
Every other character is perfect for the role.
Yoon Chan Young and Park Shi Eun as young Woo jin and Seo ri are just perfect.
Music - Really really amazing.
The songs are very subtle and never felt out of place or unnecessary. "Just stay" is my new repeat.
Other songs - Seventeen, Thirty Waltz & Tears In My Heart
Background music is really perfect.
Rewatch value - Definitely rewatching this. Character development and the whole family grows on you till you miss them.
Some loopholes - As the female lead was unconscious for almost 13 yrs, it felt odd as she woke up as if her brain was alright and in perfect condition. because if her body or brain has no problem then why did she take 13 yrs to wake up. but as this drama tells you - "Don't think, feel". so just don't go deep into loopholes and watch this drama to feel roller coaster ride of emotions.
A Really Really heartwarming drama.. Loved 30 but 17.. <3

Watch this.
This one is absolutely one of my favourites. Starting from the extremely well chosen actors (especially child actors compared to adult actors) the story that was if a bit unrealistic, extremely interesting and refreshing. This Drama combines serious with fun, love and a bit of sadness. However my absolute favourite part about it is that there is no unnecessary or frustrating Drama. There are misunderstandings and there is Drama etc. But it all makes sense, none of it is due to characters not getting their mouths open or jumping to conclusions or randomly thrown in exes/parents. The problems that arise are all logically valid.
This was definitely a watch in one sitting kind of Drama for me and one of the first ones I could have rewatched right away.

SPOILERS AHEAD!!! It is so satisfying to watch a kdrama where the lead couple are in a healthy relationship, misunderstandings are non-existence, immaturity isn't a factor for the adults, the leads don't leave each other over guilt and stick to their heart, the female best friend of the male lead isn't in love with him, you grow to like the antagonist, the side stories are relevant and the ending... has an epilogue and isn't an open ending.
I think this has now become one of my favourite kdramas. There's enough fluff, character development, angst and frustration that keeps you glued to it. Each character has their own charm and story that actually add to the drama as a whole. The development of the relationship between everyone is one of the things you end up rooting for, to see them all start to love each other and learn from one another and eventually become a family.

Such a heartwarming and moving drama that may make you shed a tear
'Still 17' is such a heartwarming and moving drama - making me bawl my eyes out at one point! In the very beginning I was so confused about this dude with long shaggy hair, a beard and unattractive clothes. I was like, 'this is not the guy pictured on the cover of the drama... so who is he?' One transformation later and I was like, 'okay, maybe he is...?' XD Needless to say, as the drama moved on I forgot all about his previous image.
Woo-jin was so cold and standoffish in the beginning - exactly what we want in a K-drama man am I right? It was so sweet to see how he became warm and opened up around everyone as he had Seo-ri on his mind.
Seo-ri was obviously the damsel in distress, but with her situation, who could blame her? She had just woken up out of a coma, had a bit of rehabilitation treatment, and left the hospital with nothing but the clothes she was wearing. That scene where the man pushed in line to get food and then Seo-ri missed out... I was pissed, but that just showed you her kind, gentle and sweet nature. I think the actress did a really great job of acting out Seo-ri's character because although she was 30, she really did seem like a teenager for the most part.
I loved Chan and his Chick Junior. So cute. And he was adorable every time he got off of the phone with his Mum and said 'bye Mummy.' XD
It was a bit heartbreaking for Chan when he found out about Seo-ri and his Uncle's relationship, but I'm glad he accepted it and moved on. None of the dickish behaviour we would normally see.
Chan's two friends were funny and I liked how they got along very well with his Uncle and Jennifer.
I loved Jennifer's character - she appears so wise, confident and firm. The episode where we discovered that her husband was killed in the accident was what made me bawl. All the flashback scenes in that episode including Seo-ri's friend Suh-mi made me cry a lot - it was very emotional.
The relationship that forms between Seo-ri and Woo-jin is so pure and sweet. The amount of episodes it took Mr Khong to express feelings towards Seo-ri felt like the perfect amount of time. Their whole backstory had me so intrigued and with each episode I was always waiting for when Woo-jin would realise/discover that Seo-ri was the girl on the bus that day all those years ago. When they were on the bridge and Seo-ri got to tell her side of the story, I was blown away, excited and happy because I was surprised at the fact that Seo-ri knew about him and liked him when they were young as well. So it wasn't a case of one-sided love after all.
I felt like this drama did a great job of intertwining the flashbacks with the 'current' story.
Paeng's appearance was always adorable and it was sweet how Woo-jin built the house for him, and also the chicken coop for Chick Junior. XD
I was so happy in the end where it showed their wedding picture and the panning shots of the wedding bands on each of their hands. Perfect way to end the show! Plot twist; it would have been cool if they had have had a baby that grew up to be a violinist like Seo-ri.
Overall this was a pretty decent drama and would 10/10 recommend to anyone wanting to watch a heartwarming show.

Best lighthearted kdrama
This kdrama was one of the most easiest to watch for me. Every episode was filled with mystery as the romance starts to build up. You'll definitely cry happy and sad tears throughout watching and it is worth watching every second. The storyline was excellent along with the perfect supporting characters needed. Certainly recommend to those wanting a cute romance drama with an element of mystery to it. There are also some laughable scenes to those looking for humour! The ending is one of the best I've seen for a kdrama and it definitely felt like it wasn't rushed. Everything was explained nicely and it was a feel-good ending for all the characters. Was this review helpful to you?

The Actors we exceptional too! They did such a good job and I was really impressed by how much they could express with just their eyes. The chemistry between the leads was just mind blowing and I just wanted to keep on watching them interact and go on dates! They are just sooo damn cute and suit eachother so well. And it was honestly so refreshing to see a mature Second Lead at an immature age of 17. The drama really wrote its characters well and gave them shapes and stuck to their personalities and habits.
There are no big plot twists but the way the story flows is comfortable and it keeps making you want to watch more because of how comfortable it it. It appeals to your emotions in subtle ways and you attach yourself to the characters. And then you realise you're watching not for the mystery or story or whatever, but just to see those characters you have come to love.
The music they used was really nice too! The OSTs really suited the mood of the drama and I loved hearing them!
I don't normally re-watch drama but, I think I am going to re-watch this one cause I just loved it so much!
The drama was just so cute and so heart filling, it was not perfect but it was something I needed to bring my spirits up and to make me smile.

Cried so much
this drama made me cry and laugh a lot. Everything was so beautiful. The chemistry between the main leads was great and the acting, plot, script was too.Besides, I loved Jennifer especially because it looked like a very strong woman, and it was,in my opinion but not the fact that she was fizical strong but the wait she could get over everything it happened even tough she wasn't a smiley person you could see that she cared about the people around her.. I also loved Chan and his friends and his uncle, all of them. The end was very beautiful, as everyone had the part of the happiness they deserved. I especially liked how character character has been developed along the way. This drama deserves the highest rating. I'm sorry I came to look at her so late, I missed something very good. Anyway, it's worth seeing by anyone. I loved her wholeheartedly. Sorry if I made some mistake, english is not my first language. Was this review helpful to you?
