S.C.I (2018)

If you liked the cat and mouse playing serial killer aspect of the show and you don't care if it's straight or BL than both dramas are for you.

- main characters are in the police force
- "hot" and "cool" main leads that complement each other
- mystery cases

The bickering and loving friendship between the two MLs has a similar vibe, plus the aspect of mystery.

These two are similar in their darker aspects of crime. They both are psychological to some extent (Evil Minds more so than SCI). While they can both be described as kind of procedural, Evil Minds is more so centered around the bigger picture and SCI not as much (but still has elements of a larger theme).

Both shows have double male leads (yay) and are both based on novels. Of course, SCI came from a BL novel but Evil Minds did not, so there's that difference in terms of deeper character relationships. Still, I'd say, somehow, the relationship in Evil Minds is just as good, if not better than SCI because it's more developed (and there's a s2)

Partner investigation. One of the 1st chinese drama I've appreciate the bonding between happy&grumpy guy.

-if you like this dramas then this the truth is another option.
-Both are Detective Dramas
-Solving crimes and figuring out who is the culprit.

They both crime scenes/theme and many fighting/action scenes also. Both are bls with serious tone + worth watching shows

- Both story and tone are not too dark with two leads investigating murder cases
- Their leads have great chemistry
- Both have some comedic tone, but not too silly…it’s just right to make you smile

Main differences are that SCI is a censored BL and occurs in modern time
