Shut Up: Flower Boy Band (2012)

Mitsuru Adachi's masterpiece of a short story collection "Short Program" was made into a live-action drama starring the global boy group JO1. For the first time, all JO1 members will take on the lead role in one of the eleven carefully selected episodes. The episodes of this diverse youth romance drama are packed with various elements, such as music, sports, and action. Where will the eleven boys who are chasing their dreams go?

The story of Tomorrow spans over 8 years, including love and friendship. It narrates a high school sports athlete, Yuan Cheng Mei, who was injured due to a practice session in school. At that time, there was a stranger who saved her and therefore, that's how this story started.

shut up flower boy band is about underground rock band who comes to limelight. make great songs. but they fall apart for various reasons.

but both have great ost. similar not exactly same kind of friendship. same feel on making album and loving music.

When his boss, Dae Jung, goes missing in a ship accident, the company sends Woo Joo to Osaka to finish his business. On his last day in the city, Woo Joo chases someone looking exactly like Dae Jung to Taisho, an area in Osaka. He ends up losing him, but the sound of a guitar draws Woo Joo to a small bar, Pier 34. Its owner, Snow, somehow reminds him of Dae Jung, and listening to his music brings back memories.

After passing out right there, Woo Joo ends up missing his flight back to Korea. He quits his job on a whim and soon meets Haruna, who is learning how to play the guitar from Snow. Woo Joo decides to stay at Pier 34 until he finds Dae Jung and so begins an unlikely vacation for him.

ML is an actor but not too popular anymore & broke so he rent a room in FL house.
FL is a nerdy geeky/otaku girl who like to imagine & day dreaming about romance with her favorite manga/comic book character. Remind me of Rainie Yang & Jiro Wang drama....& still 1 of my favorite drama....If you like this genre this is a must watch romance comedy drama....

Both are from the same Tv channel (TvN) that produces Teenage dramas. Plus both dramas are about music and friendship.

they are both about students. idk about you but i like watching dramas about school life better than a drama about a 30 year old. i can relate to them better
