This has similarity because of the everlasting love. ^_^ the girl was cute and the male lead was handsome. The story was fluffly, light, not so many angst, it's so enjoyable for watching on a rainy days, binge-watch, curled at comfy sofa and eating your caramel popcorn.

It almost has the same story. They both have a geeky science boy who falls in love when they don't think they will. I especially recommend this drama. Especially since The Love Equations has yet to completely air. Therefore this drama will get you through the time you have to wait. I am also recommending this drama because it says The Love Equation is a spinoff of this drama. I really hope you watch, and enjoy Put Your Head On My Shoulder.

• Both have a normal/stable path to their relationship
• Both dramas are so down to earth and realistic in it’s situations, it feels like you’re living in their world too
• Both shows are SUPER LIGHTHEARTED AND FLUFFY with HUMOR with hardly any angst and NO VILLAIN
• Both have soooooo many CUTSEY, FLUFFY SCENES that makes you SQUEAL
• Both have ML fall in love first
• Both have leads living in the same house
• Both have no love triangles that hurts the lead’s relationships (ofc both have friends who like them but was both quickly rejected by FL and knew what “no” meant and stopped pursuing and remained friends)
• Both have tolerable FL that isn’t forcibly acting super cute and are actually likeable/relatable and bc of that they become naturally cute
• Both have actors who seem to act naturally in their roles
• Both have satisfyingly slow, back-burning romance to grow that immense chemistry between ML and FL
• FL is dedicated to her future and is independent while ML supports and helps her on the way to her goal
• Kiss scenes were ACTUAL kisses where FL responds (he’s a good kisser omg, that drunk neck kiss too tho ??)

1. Starts from school and ends in adulthood.
2.No "annoying" rival drama even though there were rivals.
3.Long distant relationship(or breakup) for a certain period.
4.Helpful friends thought out life.
5. Side characters had their meaningful endings too.

Intense Love is like an adult version of Put your head on my shoulder and share a lot of similarities.

-ML is matured and smart but a little bit fool when it's about love
-ML is clearly in love with FL and not shy expressing his love
- FL is not weak
- Have several side couples
- Cohabitation in a few episode of Intense Love
- Supportive parents
- Super fluffy and cute couple
- ML and FL working/studies in a different field

Both are university romantic comedies. The male leads are extremely similar: both have very sweet, nerdy, quiet, cool male leads who unwaveringly love the main lead in a very sweet way although they can be oblivious to the female mind and dating dos and donts (in a very enduring way). The MF is also fun to watch and are both trying to figure out their place in the world. At the end of the day both dramas leave you feeling warm and bubble, although can be easily forgotten.

The Thai series is based on the Chinese series. Although with different names, the characters are pretty much the same with similar attitudes. The setting of the story in a school campus is also the same on both series.

-Supportive, healthy relationships in both.
-ML's are highly intelligent
-FL's are very passionate in what they do.
-They both involve the leads living together in some way.
-Fluffy, relatively stress-free dramas

Main difference is that PYHOMS is in university setting to early adulthood

a similar story with some elements of college & life , in a one word a nerd pursing female lead with some side kick 's to make drama more crispy, not great but overall good

Unexpected meeting, then living under the same roof due to fate, Lin Yi's this character Lian Dai Wen's dressup is more like Gu Wei Yi! (Put Your Head On My Shoulder Ml character name) Everything feels so similar! PYHOMS was a great drama and now Smile Code, I'm really rooting for this drama!??

The drama focuses on a young college love and their developments. It’s sweet and from the same Writer who created A Love So Beautiful.
