Both have as a main plot the media and it's influence on the people's opinions + the responsibility of the ones involved in publishing (redacting) a certain topics and news. Both shows are somewhat slice-of-life and involve 3 main protagonists with the same gender (but different in both dramas) who work in the same field, but which view on their work isn't exactly the same... While one focuses on popularity and money.. another focuses on the truth and responsibility...
It also involve the 3 protagonists love stories and live.

Izumi Hidaka is 36-years-old and the CEO of start-up game company Pegasus Ink. Four years ago, she developed the game Love My Pegasus, which was targeted towards women and became very popular. Since then, she has been obsessed with the character Kento-sama from Love My Pegasus. One evening, Wataru Igarashi suddenly appears in front of drunken Izumi Hidaka. She is shocked by Wataru Igarashi’s appearance, which is just like her game character Kento-sama. Wataru Igarashi is a 23-years-old man. But, Izumi Hidaka is disappointed with Wataru Igarashi. Except for his physical appearance, Wataru Igarashi is the opposite of her well-mannered, cultured, and vivacious game character Kento-sama.
Both show some GIRL POWER.
WWW about 3 career women with search engines;
Busted is an unusual variety show that's more like a variety show & drama combo with a pre-written storyline under which the members solve crime detective problems/challenges. Alot of it feels more like watching a thriller detective drama than a variety show.
And PMY in season 1 was the one doing 90% of the work LOL while the boys failed most of the time. So girl power there. XD

Older Woman/Younger Man (between the two main couples), Male Chases Female First,Nice Male Lead, Slow Burn Romance, Independent Female Lead, Smart Female Lead, Career oriented female lead, Office Setting, Workplace setting, City setting, Female lead single by choice, Age gap (real and drama life).
First of all, these dramas are not similar. Like AT ALL!
Then why am I recommending this?!
Well, while I was watching YAMS, there came a scene (I don't remember which) with the main couple and I suddenly thought of a scene from SWWW. Did I mention that they're not similar at all? I was confused and google it, and voila! They apparently have the same director.
Both the dramas have great ost that fit the scenes perfectly, and the romance between the main couples are captured beautifully. SWWW is a very good series in itself. So you should definitely check it out, atleast for the beautiful direction if for nothing else!

Okay, hear me out.
-Both are romantic Kdramas.
-Charismatic, smooth MLs who fall in love first & pursue FLs.
-Strong FLs competent in career paths.
-Adorable second couples (with strong FLs as well)
-Both FLs struggle to commit to the relationship at first, but are eventually won over.
-Both dramas have the right amount of complication but also fluffiness (DOTS also has more action although side FL in WWW can fight hehe).
-Search: WWW is focused more on the FL, and other female characters than their love interests however.
