A child enters a very dark gangster world in a very young age. In both dramas they do horrifying things for a parent-like person. Some day they get confronted with the normal world and kindness - they start to struggle who they want to be.
Both dramas are pretty dark. The gangsters also have some persons they care for,

- Both have a tragic end.
- In both drama leads knew each other from there childhood and one of them didn't remember it.
- Both drama have heavy atmosphere
- In TSHLYE leads are deeply in love and we see it, while in KI it's supposed (I think) but we never actually see any romantic moments

Both deals with corruption and they have dark vibes. Both are not romances but they have platonic relationships. And in both stars Jang Ki Yong ;-).

Its similar cause the ML is somewhat of an anti-villian who kills the bad guys for justice and the FL is a cop trying to catch both the bad guys and the ML

Male leads in both are criminals.
In A Better Tomorrow, a brother of the ML is a police officer and in Kill It, the FL is a police officer.
Kill It is a rare Korean action drama featuring gun fights and one of the action scenes is a homage to one of the most iconic scenes in A Better Tomorrow.

Assassin's/killer theme, both action packed would recommend if you've watched either or.

Both shows focus on protagonists who faced a lot of pain when they were children; including being experimented upon when they were in an orphanage. The Male Lead in both shows is morally ambiguous and hell-bent on making someone pay for what they did. They also have a soft spot for the Female Lead, with whom they share a childhood connection.

Both dramas have a very similar plot. The only difference here is the target of the main character’s next target.

Alice is an assassin with dark past pretending as a high school girl running away from her boss and killers. If you like Alice, Kill it is a good recommendation with lots of fighting scenes and similar assassin protagonist.

tearjerkers about professional killer who hides his identity falls in love with girl but because who he is can't be open about his feelings

In both of these revenge-based dramas, the Female Lead is taken in and raised by a woman who lost her daughter. The Female Lead also falls in love with a man who she should logically be avoiding.
