That's it. Now stop reading reviews cuz really even a 10/10 won't describe how this drama sticks out from all the others.

Disappointing
I think the issue here was the writing of the characters. I love watching crime dramas, and I thought I would be really into this based on the synopsis, but it unfortunately missed the mark. I've seen Jang Kiyong in other shows and really enjoyed his performance, but his character in this one totally fell flat. You're waiting for something to happen between him and the female lead, waiting for his cold exterior to crack, and you never really get that. His character isn't very likeable, and even though you're rooting for him, you're not really sure why.I think they also tried to do a bit too much weird worldbuilding and almost sci-fi kinda stuff. It felt like it should have been introduced earlier or simplified in order for it to make sense. I feel like there was a lot of potential wasted on this one.

the characters were not "strong" enough, they didn't have that much personality outside their plots.. beside that early dart scene and the fact that nana was strong willed against her male coworkers, they didn't give her enough... depth? same thing with Jang Ki Yong or the other characters, there was always something missing...
and the main plot was so overused that it was not enough to carry this show, the only thing that did was the fact that
Soo Hyun was a hitman...
+ nana proved herself as a competent actor
+ nana's beauty, I did consider her pretty before this drama, but there's something extremely beautiful about someone acting so well, or singing and other jobs, as long as they try hard, you know? ;)
+ Jang Ki Yong was made for this role, his eyes were everything
+ the filming was well done, everything looked pretty and high quality
+ really nice action scenes, nana's fighting scenes were the best ;)
+ ep12, I think that's the only good ep...
- it was reeaaaalllllly draggy, I mean like they only needed 2 to 4 eps max.. that's the problem with 12 eps drama, it's like the production team didn't think the plot's worth 16 eps, but they still want to drag it out...
- I skipped alot, to the point that I didn't even care for the 2 main leads parts, but I still got everything thanks to ep12 ;)
- a drama that focuses more on the old villains talking is always a horrible, I don't even know what they are talking about for that long.....
- I feel like the start and the characters relationships were rushed because they were worried 12 eps won't be enough for character growth... so that means bad time management?
- horrible weak repetitive plot. no mystery and not much thriller (I'd have given the story a 1 if it weren't for Soo Hyun's "job")

Wow
All I can say about this show right after it's over is that : WOW.The series is so strong. A lot of emotion comes with it. He's telling a very tragic story. Not everyone will be able to watch this show in peace. The acting was amazing. You could feel the emotions on the screen. I also really liked the role of Kim Soo Hyun played by Jang Ki Yong. In my opinion, an actor was the perfect choice to play this role. Cold and hard, yet with a lot of warmth and reason. It's not just a killing machine, it's also human behavior. Emotions are suppressed by him, which very well reflects the whole character. However, If I wanted to write about music or set design here, I would have to watch this series again. I was very drawn into the plot itself. Tragic events that take place on the screen are intertwined with the everyday life of the characters. We're going back to their past. Well, it's not a show for Sunday afternoon. Sitting in front of the monitor screen we have to arm ourselves with steel nerves and somehow adjust mentally. I don't get to watch a series like this very often. However, it is worth to get acquainted with it. The events presented in it may make some people realize that there are problems in the world that we never dreamed of and people who sell human life without looking whether it is a child or an adult.
I also liked promotional posters very much. Somebody perfectly rendered the atmosphere of the series and at the same time made a great advertisement.

Why the end?!??
I'm very shocked and can't believe that's how it ends. Why?!!?! The story is excellent and the plot is very tangled/confusing (which I like), but the end :(( I am almost crying 😭 However this drama is extremely addictive, I wish I could rewatch it without knowing anything about it. I never imagined it would end like this (anyone who's reading this before watching the drama might be confused haha well I encourage you to watch it immediately, because it's worth it, believe me). It's a very suspenseful drama. Was this review helpful to you?

Great thriller!
First off... OUCH! This is the first Kdrama I have seen that has the protagonist die T.TThis is the first Kdrama I have seen with the least amount of episodes, yet packed with so much action! I truly enjoyed this series because it was a break from other Kdramas I usually see, but it caught my attention. As a result, I could be biased. However, I honestly enjoyed the mix of action scenes, and the case slowly unraveling. It was a good medley of suspense, thriller, action, and mystery.
This is the first Kdrama I have seen where the co-leads do not live happily ever after, so I'm not going to lie, that took me aback. I thought that Kim Soo-Hyun would just go to jail at the very most of be let off or escape at the very least. To see the protagonist and the side kick, Phillip, die was just a shock to me.
I agree with some of the viewers that there were some plot holes I disagreed with such as, how did Do Hyun-Jin know so quickly that Ko Hyeon Woo and Yoon Ji-Hye worked together and simply the client of Kim Soo-Hyun? Also, why was the door to Kim Soo-Hyun lair opened like that?!? Wouldn't he know better to close and lock it at all times? One more thing, if the father did not see Do Hyun-Jin as his daughter, why did he help her "remember" who her favorite ballerina and what current performance the ballerina has? I found that scene confusing.
Unlike most people, I actually did not think all too much about the music. If anything, the music has to be the least memorable part of the whole drama. Usually, I would research the OST or who sang what song during a scene, but that did not happen at all with this drama until the end scene where the two co-leads were walking in a grassy field.

10/10 easy if it had a bit different ending. I'm a sucker for a happy ending, always.
Binge watched this one over night. I was hooked from the first episode up to the end. I just wish it had a better ending.Story wise, its really a good crime/mystery drama with just a hint of a budding romance. I like that the writers took time to make each characters feels real or at least a bit relatable. They're complex characters with different facets. For example, the ML adopted father, who's a cold blooded assassin, save ML and took care of him. At his last breath all he wanted for his adopted son is to live a normal life.
I like the cast. I love the onscreen chemistry of the ML and FL. Its just sad that there wasn't enough of their love story.
