From the same writers (Hong sisters), both shows are high fantasy + romance. They have strong female leads with supernatural abilities who is on a mission related to her past and can fight well. Both have good special effects and some comedic elements to it as well.

Both have immortal, smart, powerful, sassy (also well-dressed) ladies as the lead and unknowing male leads that get pulled into their world . Both series have paranormal aspects and a woman trying to recover memories about her past. Both love stories also develop similarly with the woman commanding the man around but then unknowingly falling in love with them instead. I think if you like one you will most likely like the other one too!

Both dramas consist of world where human and ghost exist.
The male leads find themselves crossing the line between the human world and ghost world, helping the lost souls to find peace before they can go off to a better place. They're both fantasy filled with trilling events.

They have very different vibes but both are fantasy dramas that start out slow and deal with death and revenge. Both female leads are bad-tempered and selfish, as well as very powerful, who need to move on from their desire for revenge. They have both had close brushes with death and had people they cared for die to protect them, which starts them on their quests for revenge. Both male leads are good-natured and one of the few people who is not afraid of the female lead. There are a lot of side characters with their own interesting but usually tragic backstories.

Hotel del Luna is very gothic and tragic, while The Legends is more comedic and action-based. The male lead in The Legends is also very powerful, whereas in Hotel del Luna, the female lead is easily the most powerful person in the main cast. The dynamics of the two couples are also very different, since they are constantly bickering in Hotel del Luna, while in The Legends, the male lead is very gentle towards the female lead.

Both series are fantasy and comedy. Seon Woo Hyeol is the businessman in the Heartbeat. Also Man Wol is the businesswoman in Hotel del Luna. She is the owner of the Hotel Luna.

The main characters in both series have been living for a long time. Both of them fall in love with someone and suffer from love pangs.
