The plot had a unique concept and to insert reincarnation to a bl drama is kind of unique and to deliver it accordingly is a hard task which they have achieved to a certain limit. The story plot and the casting choices were great.... but the story of rest of the characters was bit incomplete. Like most of the actors did their part beautifully but there was lot of extra characters which weren't needed literally felt like we can't just focus on the main character fully so they added some supporting roles...
I really wanted more of Team and Win... The thing is the main characters story was complete but rest of the characters story was just to add on time.

Watch this only if you have nothing else to watch.

Watch this BL only if you have nothing else to watch. This one is a strict one time watch with one finger firmly placed on the skip button throughout. I think the Seme's acting or appearance might have won my over or the reincarnation theme made me curious - otherwise I have no clue why I kept watching this. Seriously - i think it's because i had nothing else to watch (until i watched a lovely toxic 2 parter from Gloomy Salad (2010) ep13 & 14)

The main problem w Until We Meet again is the couple gets together way too quick, i usually like a slow burn - i think everybody does - watch a relationship develop, i prefer a will they-won't they pattern - but here they skip the burn & it's just a waiting game for the reincarnation story to come full circle in the end. So whoever wrote this script or novel, I don't know why they thought people would keep turning the pages. Or maybe this is poorly adapted?

Finally, when it does reach that full circle point, it isn't a rewarding moment becuase there there weren't really any hurdles in this story at all - so storywise, there's not much a story here ... which is why kept skipping ... it's just passing time till the end. All this has is a reincarnation theme that is used to explain their unexplainable attraction, but it's otherwise not used to its full potential cuz trust me reincarnation is a popular theme is south asain movies, this didn't even come close.

Some other issues I had was the ukke isn't attractive but the Seme's looks do grow on u.
Also, the ukke's character is s just perfect at everything, his personality is too pleasantly perfect with a faux wide smile fixed on his face- it's too flat & unreal - i don't see the point of it. Being a good cook is not a character trait imo. Add to that the ukke cries a lot in this, and I mean a lot and it's unintentionally comedic, and they cue in this romantic track whenever he's having all these feels - i don't mind cheesiness but i was finding it legit funny

If you're planning on watching this, you need to know that it tackles different issues like suicide, coming out and abandonment. If you have trigger on anything close to those, you must think before watching this. This BL has a good storyline that makes you believe in the promise of forever.

Plot-wise, it has a really good story and if you're looking for some heaviness an depth in terms of love and commitment you'll be able to find it here, though I found the duration of this drama a little dragging in the latter part of the series. The acting skills of the characters are on point and really commendable as they've managed to make the viewers feel the pain, joy and love. The side couple are really cute and it makes the series a little lighter and it balances out the drama.

Probably the most over-rated BL of all time.

I started watching it because of all the hype and ratings but Jesus Christ was it boring! I found the chemistry between the actors very average. The acting was above average. I watched 11 episodes but after that I was soo bored i had to drop it. The only thing about this BL is that it has a comparatively unique storyline. But again that's about it. I still don't understand why it is liked so much to be honest cause there are so many better BLs.

However, I suppose, when it came out people found it different from others at that time and hence, found it soo good. But if you're watching it now then I don't think you'll find it that good.

So, i would recommend you to watch other BLs and not waste your time on this. Cause all the episodes are extremely repetitive, slow and boring.

Interesting story

Interesting and different story compared to other BL's I have watched.
But the the main lead (Pharm's) acting was really really bad. This show would have been so much better if someone else did the acting instead of Pharm. He was cute yeah but as a couple with Dean, there are no proper chemistry. The kisses were super awkward and it was seen clearly seen in his acting. The second couple kept me watching this show rather than main couple. The flashback couple had so much chemistry. Wish the flaskback couple was main couple.

WORTH WATCHING❤️

I usually don't write reviews but I'll do it for this one. This is one of the best series I've seen even though it's not finished yet. The story is as beautiful as it is sad (Korn and In's tragic end) and the actors make it even more memorable. They have the chemistry and that makes the series even more intriguing. The music fits it perfectly as well and I'm so happy they made a music video so we can all enjoy it and appreciate Sompob's beautiful voice. I fell in love with this series after the first episode and I don't regret a minute spent to watch it. Looking forward to the new episodes????

I am really enjoying this one so far. The chemistry between the 2 leads is great, and the story is different than I'm used to with bl dramas which is nice. The acting in general is good, and I dont find find myself thinking anyone is terrible. There are some familiar faces if you were a fan of or watched Love By Chance which was a nice surprise. I find myself wanting to binge watch this show, but holding back because I don't want want it to end. I'm really glad I decided to watch this show and I definitely reccomend it to anyone who is a BL fan looking for a good storyline.

First of all, let me tell you something.... I didn’t even finished watching all episodes, I have stoped at ep 12, and from the beginning I was having a goosebumps and tears in my eyes all the time. The first few minutes in ep 1, told me that it will be amazing series.
Literally I’m a bit in shock because I thought it will be “another sweet and loving series”, but definitely I am wrong.
What Kon and In have lived 30 years ago about accepting, unfortunately in many countries are still the same. For example, I’m from Serbia and in my country is forbidden to be gay or open minded about that. A lot of abuse, abandonment and self-killing is still present.
There are no many of us who are living life in the way we want, but watching these kind of series it could change some peoples mind.
I’m really happy that I could find Thai series and learn a lot about love and romance. I still believe I will find it one day....
Anyway, I will continue to watch another episode and who knows...maybe I will repeat all 17 episodes ☺️

And to all who will start watching this series: BELIVE IN YOURSELF AND EXPECT UNEXPECTING!!

“Until we meet again” is a perfectly paced drama.
The romance isn’t rushed, there’s a perfect amount of fluff to the point where it’s not considered boring.
They also know when to take time away from the romance and get to the more serious aspects of real life problems and the whole event which triggered this story in the first place.
Although the show isn’t finished yet, I feel like I have to express how nice it is, the story has me genuinely intrigued and connected with it. The music in the beginning Ep.1 was misplaced in my opinion, but onwards it gets better. The acting can obviously get cringey at times, but the actors fit their rolls nicely and you can see that throughout the progression of the show. I believe this will be a nice drama for many people.

Why I dropped a show with a good story

Watching BL shows and dropping BL shows I've figured out what is first and most important thing to me.

The acting and the chemistry between the lead characters.

You can tell in the way they touch each other in scenes and the looks in their eyes. So far, there are only three pairs of actors where I can say with no doubt that they make the love feel real between the characters (see my "good pda" list).

The actors don't have to be perfect, but I need a significant amount of moments where the love feels real. The initial interactions can still be awkward because it makes sense getting familiar with a person. But I want to be able to feel the want from both characters' emotions. I've only completed 10 shows, but everything I've given good rating has the kind of acting and chemistry I'm looking for.

I wanted to like this show. The premise is amazing and the writing is good. The music for the important moments is very moving. The problem is that both the past life couple and the present life couple, the love didn't feel real. It felt like acting. And maybe my criteria is harder to meet than I realize. But more than 50% of the shows I've watched have the acting I'm looking for.

I know this is a highly regarded series, but it misses the most important thing I'm looking for: the comfortability between actors.

Well, I watched enough shows to notice that "Studio Wabi Sabi" struggles to make even an average one (the script, the photography, the editing, the "music"...) so when I spotted Kao Noppakao whom I remember from 'Lovely Writer' I was surprised, I thought they use only novice "actors". He doesn't have a real role in this one though, only someone's past self.

No, the main roles are completely different level. Both the main couple boys sadly cannot measure up to the "flashback couple" we see right in the beginning of the series. The two end up tragically in a blatant stupid scene, when they shoot their brains out while both their fathers are only helplessly watching, but then the unexplicably good cast (one of fathers is portrayed by Nirut Sirijanya! where did Wabi Sabi get Nirut Sirijanya?) is gone and for the rest of the series we are supposed to watch someone... well, else. The only big role for a female is a loud, chubby and annoying girl, to remind us we are to firmly concentrate on boys, here. Mean Phiravich is in insignificant, small side-role. Considering that is how they used the most attractive guy they had on the whole cast... Most viewers praised the second couple. Shall they save this?

So far, I keep watching to give this a chance. There are still scenes with the "old couple", which I skip by now, though. I can watch either one version or the other. And if I am to give chance to the "new couple", I have to quit watching the old one. And I honestly want to see how much there is to this couple if we don't count the past life destiny thing.

Also, there should be the 'WinTeam' couple to watch, and I am all for it, if they should be free of any "reincarnated lovers" cr*p. But, as the secondary couple, they have less screentime: so I'll have to wait for it...

Episode 4, Mean Phiravich's character expresses his interest in one of the boys. Whoops! Tricky. I'm sure I am now not alone who'd just ride on this wave and watch another 'Love By Chance 2' here. Who cares about the other boy, now? He can't beat Mean Phiravich.

Epi 6: Scenes with the previous life couple KEEP coming. Why?? The cast is SO much better. It's more interesting because they live in late 80's when being gay is not so much in fashion. But, as their scenes are only random flashbacks, this show's creators did not have to do the whole "period" drama properly. Instead, these scenes help the contemporary lame duo - threatened by the presence of Mean Phiravich - to have at least some chemistry, thanks to the audience already knowing their tragic love past story and therefore feeling for the characters even before they earned it. See, on both accounts, this show's creators made their job easier for themselves. So, my guess is we'll watch this half-and-half for the rest of the series...

Also this episode, for the first time I noticed WinTeam interacting a bit. There is also Plan Rathavit in his little guest role and it's SO cute you wish to keep him & the main cast to p**s off:) But they stay there, virtually haunted by the CONSTANT flashbacks. I smirked thinking whether people would be able to actually live their normal life, if everyone was able to remember their past lives so readily.

Epi 7, the boys said to each other that they remember one another from the past life and that they found each other now. The way I see it, it could be the end of this story... I feel no need to weep about it for 10 more episodes. Perhaps next role of Mean Phiravich will finally be in something good?
