Surprisingly Good

I read quite a few reviews about this show being good but for some reason I didn't have high expectations. Something about those bright colored track suits seemed silly to me. lol

I really enjoyed this story line as it's different from what I usually watch. It is still technically a romcom but it's not solely focused on that. I also really liked that they didn't dwell on the whole, she thinks they're insane and must've escaped an asylum or something. lol I mean it does take her a bit, but they didn't let that drag on too long.

These guys suffered the same fate as Lee Jong Suk in Pinocchio, which is falling victim to the very interesting hairstyles that dominated the early 2010's for male stars in Korea. lmao I get it, I do, but I'd rather they kept their historical hairstyles because they looked a little wild especially when combined with those bright track suits. haha

OMG worst epilogue ever
the worst end which spoils the whole drama for me

the whole events was so logical and full of suspense which make you excited to finish it quickly
till u suddenly shocked with the illogical last episode

first of all the ML many times his performance wasn't good enough and so fake

and what happened at the last ep was nonsense
from where did he know the actual incidence that happened at Joseon Dynasty while he was busy at the main time with the FL
and he told it actually as it happened

and that stupid time jump which made me confused which one of the Male leads the FL ends up with ??
if he was the modern version when he waked up from his coma
and if he was from the past how he travelled again to her ??

and what annoyed me the most that
i was waiting the whole drama to see how see na will get punished
and i was about to jump out of the window and break the screen when i saw her end after all what she did

the last ep made me feel that the writer suddenly got bored and decided to end this drama in any way

SO FRUSTRATING END EVER -_-

this was the first time travelling drama i picked so this one is special..from the first moment one is hooked to the screen when watching this drama.its like this vortex making you forget everything else.
i wasn't sure if Yoochun was gonna do a good job with playing the role of the king but he was perfect for this role.he has improved a lot from his last drama.Ha Ji Min is very convincing in her role and so beautiful too.she acts amazingly well and makes us all emotional.throughout the play i felt what she felt-anger,betrayal everything,that's how good she is.the other 3 guys are just too cute for words.they make up half the comedy of the show and good at that too

the story is very interesting but somehow in between it looses its touch.i loved the part of the mystery of the whole drama and how everything gets explained.but somewhere in between the drama lost touch with me.the whole plot revolves basically around Se Na and her shenanigans.she is one of the most irritating villains i'v come across in a drama.even the villain of you're beautiful seems an angel in front of her.they could have strengeed the whole part giving less space to Se Na and more space to the mystery or the romance part.

the chemistry between the leads is interesting and keeps getting stronger as the drama progresses.i felt the compulsion to finish this just like in 49 days but this is a bad compulsion because all i wanted was for the whole thing to end so that my leads get some onscreen time.
the music is good nothing explosive but sounds good to hear

i rarely rewatch serials but if i get down to rewatching this one i'd prob skip all parts apart from the romance.

this is the type of drama you should watch when you have a week off.coz believe me u wont rest until its finished..:D..its that compulsive..a good romance to spice up anyone's day

Bellissimo drama, molta commedia fino a lacrimare, bellissima la storia piochè diversa dalle altre, INASPETTATA, avrei di certo preferito che continuasse, i due protagonisti sono troppo belli, formano una bella coppia Micky Yoochun ,bellissimo lui con la sua voce che mi penetra il cuore , e Han Ji Min lei super bella con lo sguardo più dolce di tutta Joseon. questo drama è davvero eccezionale: la trama è davvero ben congeniata e gli attori sono davvero molto molto bravi! Started out great, lost interest super quickly.

Overall, I didn't like this. I think maybe if it had been a mini-series I would have liked it. I enjoyed the first 2 episodes and then I ended up skipping like 75% of episodes 4-8. Then I just jumped to the last episode and watched it.
Honestly, the entire story could have been done in like 2 or 3 episodes. The rest was just boring and drawn out for drama purposes.

The characters seemed pretty flat to me, and not well-rounded from what I saw. I still don't understand the step-sister's behavior and I'm not going back to try and watch it all to figure it out. Honestly, if she doesn't have a motive from the beginning then it doesn't make sense to give her one over halfway through the series.

I'm sure some people have watched this and enjoyed it. It just wasn't a drama meant for me I guess.

Je suis assez partagé.e concernant ce drama et je vais expliquer pourquoi avec ma critique.
Tout d'abord, je commencerais par les points positifs :
- L'acteur principal, Park Yu Chun, dans les différents rôles qu'il incarne est très bon, il nous montre ainsi qu'il sait jouer plusieurs rôles, plusieurs personnalités en une seule série, ce qui, à mon sens, n'est pas à la portée de tous.
- L'actrice principale, Han Ji Min, tient bien son rôle qui sort un peu des sentiers battus en incarnant une femme débrouillarde et déterminée au lieu d'apparaître comme la demoiselle en détresse comme c'est le cas bien souvent.
- Le comique de situation quand à la confrontation des personnages de Joseon catapultés dans ce futur ahurissant à leurs yeux, j'ai beaucoup ri de leurs réactions face à toutes les découvertes qu'ils font et à ce qui leur paraît important en comparaison de leur époque d'origine.
- Enfin, la romance qui est bien menée par les deux leads, mignonne mais non moins passionnée et parfois même désespérée, j'en aurais presque pleuré (et il m'en faut beaucoup pour que ça arrive, croyez moi!)

À présent, malheureusement, plusieurs choses me gênent et il faut bien le rapporter pour être un minimum honnête.
- Le rythme est bien souvent trop lent, le drama compte 20 épisodes et je pense qu'il aurait pu s'amputer de quelques-uns facilement, l'action et l'histoire avancent avec la rapidité d'un escargot asthmatique sous Lexomil.
- En parlant de l'histoire, le scénario a des ficelles grosses comme des cordes que les personnages ne voient pas! Ou pire, les occultent! Je sais qu'on veut résoudre les énigmes petit à petit mais là ils abusent, je spoile pour explication,

Dans l'épisode de l'incendie, Yong Tae Yong (alias, Lee Gak) voit bien Park Ha avec un masque et se rend compte qu'elle ressemble à Bu Yong mais c'est occulté jusqu'à à l'épisode où ils étendent le linge.

Et il y a plusieurs autres exemples du même genre...
- Les rôles secondaires ensuite, ils sont plus ou moins tous bien joués, là n'est pas la question, mais le drama les utilise comme un magicien sortirait un lapin de son chapeau, il les met sur le devant de la scène au besoin et ensuite ils disparaissent sans explication, et c'est quelque chose qui a le don de m'énerver. Ils le font même avec les trois acolytes du lead masculin alors qu'on aurait pu utiliser leurs capacités d'avantage et avec plus de scènes pour résoudre les énigmes par exemple.

ils sont présentés comme « les meilleurs des meilleurs » et ils finissent enfermés dans un appartement à se gaver de pizzas, c'est du gâchis selon moi.

- Et la fin... comme dire sans spoiler à mort... je ne peux dire que, selon moi, le drama n'assume pas sa fin qui n'est pas un total happy end ou alors, si c'est une fin assumée, ça veut dire que l'amour ne repose que sur les apparences ce qui est normalement contraire à la définition qu'on donne au véritable amour.

Тут есть "контрольный выстрел" в виде его слуг-друзей-товарищей тоже в национальных да с длинными волосами, да в количестве трех штук, которых я звала: Синенький, Желтенький и Зелененький.
А еще тут две сестры - неродные по началу - одна, как водится - злая, а другая добрая и как водится Золушка еще тут есть взрослые разной степени привлекательности, склочности, богатства и сучности.
А еще... ну много кого еще тут можно увидеть.
Дорамка классическая - сначала бодренько, потом на спад, потом "блин как же продраться через серию" - потом ангст/любовь, а потом финальчик, бодренький такой.
В украшательстве замечен весь мужской каст, ну правда - хороши ребята
Из девушек понравились обе сестры и внешне (что в современных дорамах удивительно) и как сыграли.
