I personally started with season 2, because I saw a video that motivated me to watch it as soon as possible.
IT WAS THE BEST DECISION I MADE!
I highly recommend watching this series, because the storyline is unique and it is not your usual drama. It has a lot of romantic moments, funny scenes and interesting, plot twisting ones as well. I really enjoyed that this drama is not childish like other chinese dramas. It sometimes reminded me of American series, because they approached themes like serious relationships, pregnancy, intimacy, periods and family problems.
The chemistry between the main leads in my opinion is just amazing. You can see that they are really comfortable with each other. Something else, that i really enjoyed was that they did not only focus on the main leads, but took time to tell the other characters' stories as well.
Besides this, the sound track is really amazing.
If you like dramas that have an interesting storyline and that expand the romantic relationship well, without making it childish and aboard themes that you can relate to, than this is for you!

was it good

it is good , it is better than season 1, dude season 1 didn't had the chemistry need for the MLS and also now their story make sense when you add they meet at a bar. The side characters story was good too especially the story of Huang Wen Li [Yi Zhou's assistant] (Qian Shuo) and Jia Fei [Xia Lin's best friend] (Liu Jia Xi) , hell i liked these 2 since in season 1 because they have good chemistry than the MLS and a good story and still do in this season too. I like the fact that the male lead would throw shade against his assistant by telling him "you wouldn't understand because you aren't married" that was hilarious to watch also the male lead was actually a human season 1 make him look like a robot however this season make him look more humanely as possible .

Love, comedy, unnecessary scenes, love

First of all, I have to say that I haven't watched season 1. However, this drama is very light to see, even thought when it is the second season, it tells a story completely different to the first one, and it's very simple and comfortable to watch. I fell in love with the characters, and laugh a lot with Ling Yi Zhou.

This drama is so fresh that I could watched it in the office. In simple sight they are the perfect couple and hyper goals, and in a deep sight they are too!!

I loved their chemistry, their relationship is very beautiful, a little weird at the beginning but very amazing.
I like that in the beginning both of them were interested one in another, because chinese dramas use to put only the male lead interested or the female lead, and that's no realistic, here however you can feel the love since the beginning.

The only thing that is bad in this drama is...

SPOILER ALERT:

---I think it was really unnecessary the lost memory of Xia Lin, however I loved that at last they got married and had a cute baby.

So after watching season 1 the first thing to notice it that main lead Creep game is way toned down.
couple is same old sweet with their besties.
Almost same plot situations but roles reversed kind of.
I had a feeling I was watching cut scenes from Season 1.
I doubt I would have enjoyed it without watching season 1. so if you loved season 1 and would like to see more of the couples you will like it. Though season 1 was really good and I loved it - especially main couple .
as for this season, besties are still bestie and for her being c level actress, she is second main lead now- enjoying the popularity LD

this is legit more of a rant where i spew out all my thoughts right after watching. probably not a very informative or helpful review lol.

i started watching WIL2 after attempting WIL and finding out about the horrible plot twist that ruined the drama. after learning WIL2 is set in an alternate universe, i decided to give it a try because i really liked the cast from WIL. i also kept seeing clips of the main couple being adorable on my ig explore page. this drama is full so many drama tropes, from engagement contracts to amnesia to rich CEO boss guy. but! i'm trash for those things so i had a really enjoyable time watching WIL2. the first few episodes caught me in right away with how cute everything was, but like all dramas, there was a slow middle part. i found that the villians' storylines didn't make much sense and just wanted to kick them in the face the whole time. other than them and yi zhou's mom, i LOVED all the characters. the main couple is so freaking adorable, and for the most part, were able to communicate how they felt and had AMAZING chemistry. i thought it was a tad rushed that they just decided to get married for real, but i can't complain. even though i usually hate amnesia storylines, xia lin recalling their memories made me tear up. jia fei and wen li are also cute but tbh deserved more attention. same goes for ruan meng and chu yan. i thought the last episode was really rushed and didn't answer all my questions (what happened to yao liang?) and the wedding seemed so rushed and low budget like what was going on ????? but again, still a fun and quick watch :) songs were also very very cute.

Here's the thing, the acting was bad, the music was so goddamn annoying like sometimes it was even louder than the actor's own voices and Ling Yizhou was still as crazy as he was in the 1st season but to be honest liked it. I don't know but it's like my guilty pleasure. It had almost every single Asian drama trope and it was so predictable but that's what made it entertaining. I don't really know how to explain it but I liked it and I honestly think it was better than season 1. Like Yizhou was still crazy but not insane and the ending was so cute I wanted to die. But 1 thing that was so annoying was that they kept like beautifying their skin. Like the actor who plays Chu Yan has acne scars on his face ( they showed them in season 1) but literally, in every scene he and Ling Yizhou's face was so clear and glistening it looked sorta weird idk just too much photoshop. Anyways, it was funny.

They didn't change the character name but the theme of the story totally same so if you didn't watch season1 then it is okay . With the same theme of the story they had started with a new story. This drama though shown that he again forcefully make her marry him but this time he didn't fake anything that extreme . But still I have the same thought ,if you love someone you should tell them may also they have some dreams ,some desire and you destroy them .
This drama is more romantic than the first one with the completion of three love story . I like his assistant love story more than his.

I have waited for this season 2. And surely, the wait is worth it.
I love their acting. Very heart fluttering. In times like this, our world is in crisis. We need something that would make our heart warm from so much anxiety.
The love interaction of three pairs are really good. I laughed aloud. The chemistry is superb.
I really recommended it for someone who is looking for and appreciate lighthearted romance. The same goes with season 1. I loved it both. And if there will be season 3, i will watched it too.

Season 2 is not a continuation of season 1 so you don’t have to watch the first one to see this one. But they do make lots of cute references to the first one which enhances your appreciation of it. When the male lead mentioned putting away the female leads medical report because they wouldn’t need it after all, I loved it! In season 2 it’s the same cast but they're in a different world. It’s like seeing what would have happened had they lived in another world and had made different choices. I like that they bring back the male leads sweet grandma and the cute little white dog.
In season 2 the antagonists are different and honestly speaking they aren’t very bad or scary. I like that there’s no evil crazy girl that’s obsessed with the male lead. I honestly hated that in season 1. But with that being said, with no really overly evil person and no other underlying issues to deal with, the story seemed to lack depth.
The acting was top notch. And the two side couples get a lot more screen time than they did in the first season. All of the skinship, real kisses, chemistry, and romance more than made up for the negatives in this drama. It’s a light, fluffy, sweet romance drama that’s very easy to watch. I would definitely recommend it.

Do I dare say it, but I think I actually really enjoyed this season. Especially since the first season was such a freaking disasters, after much debating, I was like "should I even put myself through this?" But it was like the writer and director took all the criticism from the 1st season and made it better for this one, so honestly, you could just skip the 1st season and watch the 2nd. lol.

The story twist was good, I'm glad there was no cancer or well fake cancer if you know what I mean, the dude was still a stalker, but it wasn't in a scary terrible life death situation kind of way and he was actually really sweet to the FL and I liked that. I like that the FL was nice to the ML for the most part and it was basic, they fake a contract marriage, actually fall in love and the rest is history, the only thing is the "bad characters" were pointless. lol. They really killed the mood but you also don't really notice them so all is well in the land of love for the two main characters because their chemistry, again, was outrageous and I loved it.

The acting was somehow, better? It was like everyone got to know each other better, the chemistry was great, the kissing scenes were fantastic, everything was just so A-1 in my book for sure.

I loved the OST so much that I downloaded it on apple music, it was so sweet and soothing.

Overall, I would probably rewatch it if I need something sweet and fluffy. It truly was not that bad. Minus he was still a stalker but I liked that this time, it was because of a crush and he wasn't out to ruin her life so that's fine. Lmaooo.

If you're gonna ask if this is a sequel, it is not... In S2 there were times Xia Lin dreamt of S1 scenes, I don't think it's like a multiverse or parallel universe type of thing...

*spoilers ahead (I guess)*

I actually liked S1 it's just that when everything was revealed I hated this certain character... I don't think I can forgive the person if I were in that situation... That was changed in S2 the heaviness of it toned down... Ling Yi Zhou & Xia Lin their interactions... the naughtiness (bwahahah) love that it is a lot this season also I liked that they added scenes for Wen Li and Fei their chemistry was way more showcased rather than S1. Chu Yan and Ruan Meng were kind of a meh for me...

Uggh I hated how much of a weak character Fu Wei Ning is (bad acting too?) idk but the director/producers should've picked Yang Hao Ming (Nan Jin Tian antagonist in S1) again, Ms. Jiang (Xia Lin's manager S2) was better as an antagonist. Also the amnesia scene ughh it should've just ended by ep 13 or 14 I was impressed at how Xu Kai Cheng cried at ep 16 though.

I decided to watch this after I watched The Platform well it did take away my attention from a very deep and dark movie,
