Dropped

Only watched the first episode and barely got through it. From start to finish I could not find a single reason to continue. The episode was nearly as long as a movie. It started off what seemed like in the middle of a story. There was no proper introduction to the characters. They dived into a very depressing case which was yet another put-off.I know this show is extremely popular but I couldn't figure out why while watching this episode or what I was missing.

Prepare for tears

On brand for me, I burst out into tears by the end of this episode and subsequent episode. I can't finish this drama only because crying this much makes my head hurt. A compelling, emotional ride for me and I am certain that it'll get even better as you start to grow attached to each character and the writers begin to churn out the true waterworks angst. I have high hopes for the rest of this drama and therefore I cannot continue it. I do not like crying so much that I will subject myself to it further. However! This might be up your alley if you like hospital dramas that get you in the feels and that are more about interpersonal relationships. Who knows, maybe I'll pick it up again-- but only hand in hand with a comedy show that I can watch after each episode.

Jung Kyung Ho (second favorite actor)

OMG... to have Jung Kyung Ho (second favorite actor), Yoo Yeon Seok, Jo Jung Suk, Kim Dae Myung, and Jeon Mi Do all in one drama is insane, loved the first outing of the show but more than that I loved the unique and special kind of friendship and trust between the leads. The mutual understanding between them is invaluable and endearing. I believe it to be the most important and guiding principle of the drama -- their strong bond of friendship and support that links them together.I enjoyed this first episode, its free-flowing nature, the set up of each character, their natures, development, and the delivery of it all. I love Jung Ro Sa's Jung Won's mother, actually, I love the whole family. The band stuff had me in stitches and I look forward to more of it. In a way, I wish all ten episodes were available, but on the same token, I am okay with the weekly stream, makes the anticipation that much sweeter. That last scene though, wasn't that their friend's boyfriend in the elevator, caught red-handed; boy, oh boy.

This show was a delightful surprise. Though,…

This show was a delightful surprise. Though, knowing the writer's past works, perhaps I shouldn't have been. This was a wonderful first episode of character and relationship exploration as well as plot subversion. The episode totally set us up into thinking there was going to be hospital politics drama but nope, just the writer playing with our expectations of what kdramas typically have in store. I excitedly await the next adventures these friends have in store for me.

Oh, I'm in alright!

I'll admit it. Freely. I'm a sucker for medical dramas, & have been for as long as I can recall. This one already had me chuckling, & I do believe I cried twice. The characters are cool, & I can't wait to see where this goes!
