My Personal Opinion About 2gether
I Love the storyline, it's playful and not that in depth about s.x , after watching the drama there is alot of mixed emotions. CAST: i like the cast they get along with each other, but maybe brightwin is not that good of a match, i see a spark but i still get the i'm straight from both of them still i commend both of them. ACTING: I love it, even thought there are scenes that make my eyebrow raise, i still like it and they are natural. MUSIC: no comment 10 out of 10. Overall i would rewatch ❤️Was this review helpful to you?
I /heart/ this series. Read why..
Note: If you're reading this, please read til the end, I'd appreciate it.Okay, so to start, this is my first time writing a review for a drama.. This series means a lot to me, that's why.. Despite what everyone says and although I understand where they're coming from, this is just me speaking from my point of view. Before you start being too critical, bear in mind that this series is meant to be a light love story between two boys. For me, the series serves its purpose in giving enjoyment to the audience from the first 10 episodes and trust me, all those 10 beat all the thai BLs I've ever watched and I watched a lot! Well I usually stop watching when it gets too awkward or cringy but for this series, never once did I ever feel that way.. They are adorable, soft, cute and sweet in their own way. You may say it's preference and I won't argue.. People might also say that the visual of the actors was what forcing some to stay but logically speaking, if the acting is super bad, would the series still be worth watching? Well I'd walk away for sure.. I won't say that everything is perfect in this series, I just choose to look at the flaws as the imperfections that made the series the way it is. Win Metawin and Bright give their characters justice and you'll like other characs as well as you go along..
The last 2/ 3 episodes might be disappointing to some (bad writing? weird character development? lack of intimacy between the main cp?) so you'll see a lot of those negative reviews and comments, but if you're really immersed in their love story from the start, see the characters' traits from every angle and not being too critical/ serious about everything, you won't be as heart broken ^^ Seriously, it is just a series, indulge the good memories and leave all the negativity behind. I got into this series by coincidence so I do not think it is biased of me when I put this series as my #1 among all bls I've watched. To me, personally, this series leaves such a great memory (Scrubb's music plays such a big part <3). I love my nuisance and his handsome prince with all my heart <3 People say this series is cliche, well it is, but if you really look right into it, it gets prettier especially if you have some intellectuals telling you the subtle and hidden meanings behind the lil elements of the story.
Coming from an international fan, this review might not be for everyone.. Want to experience the real thing? Watch it from Thai ppl's perspectives.. Go watch the reactions with eng sub.. I suggest go to Pakhe Channel for recaps and eye-opening insights when you decide to start watching (but beware not to spoil the eps beforehand, go to the recaps of the episodes after you've finished watching each one).

ONE OF MY FAVORITE!
This is definitely one of my favorite Thai BL series, and probably one of the best I have ever watched. It's well-written, well-done and just brilliant. I love all the characters, especially the male leads, who are all so good-looking and portrayed their roles very well. Everything is just there, the romantic excitement, the sadness, the anger, the drama... I love every scene. I love the every interaction of the male leads, their spark with each other, I love the side stories for the supporting characters, the conflict is well-done, I love the ending and the whole series. The two male leads are just fit for each other, for the role, and I love them so much! 2gether: The Series is very recommended to anyone who wants to watch Thai BL! I love it!Was this review helpful to you?
Something between good n' bad
So before i started watching this series i went through the reviews and some said that it is just overhyped and some said it's actually pretty good but anyway i decided to watch it. At first it was really amazing you could feel that the story is going to be great ,until 9th or 10th eps maybe when they moved in together but then... okay i understand it is not necessary for them to have a kissing scence but i felt that chemistry between them started kind of disappearing and then it ended and it was pretty boring for me to watch till the end. But then we have still2gether to fill the gaps n' moments they couldn't put in part 1 . So my personal opinion is if you want to watch something sweet and cute go for it , it is not very bad it's just something in between good n' bad.

Eh.... More like a Bromance/roommates?
◤⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯◥So... It's a drama.... Not particularly impressive nor atrocious. Honestly... it's plain and has very little redemption, arguably the only reason why I moderately like it is due to Mike and Gunsmile's roles as the comedy relief characters. This drama had potential but a lot of it was wasted, perhaps due to the boring, risk-lacking directorship.
Story:▷▶ It was... Okay. I enjoyed how sweet it set out to be and it does follow one of my personal favourite tropes but unfortunately it was executed quite poorly. I struggled to find a reason why Tine started to like Sarawat or even why Sarawat liked Tine apart from a poorly added in "love at first sight" reveal during a flashback. A lot of the story felt undeveloped and flat in contrast to the performance that the actors brought to the screen. This entire story felt more like an awkward wannabe bromance, it's like the writers forgot that is romance is actually allowed to be developed and represented in BL dramas. It felt like I was watching a bad censored-gay character drama, which got worse when they forced a relationship between Mil and Phukong. That relationship suffered to poor development on the same level that Sarawat x Tine did.
Acting/cast: ▷▶ The best part. Mike, Gunsmile, Drake, Toptap & Frank did great. I loved their characters and how they interacted with each other.
Now, for our leads.... Bright and Win are talented actors with fantastic visuals. The two had some good snippets of chemistry. Win especially did amazing during his emotional scenes.
The biggest issue, I believe, lies within the writing and directing of the drama. Bright and Win are new to the Bl scene, and a drama in the likes of Sotus is not bad. However, this drama does not come close to Sotus' greatness in the Soft BL sub-genre. Sotus genuinely had character development, and portrayed the characters' feelings perfectly... 2gether, however, expected the audience to fill in the blanks and failed the actors. The actors did phenomenal, I personally loved them and they're my favourite part!
[ I strongly recommend watching Bright and Win's new drama F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers, alongside Mike's new upcoming drama where he stars as the main lead with Krist!]
Music: ▷▶ It was okay... Didn't blow me away.
Overall:▷▶ It's barely a mediocre drama. I think it's just underdone and missed its full potential. Sarawat and Tine never felt like a real couple no matter how many times the "boob" gag happened alongside the "I'll kiss you till you drop" line was said.

Don't waste your time
You know, there are some parts of this series that I love, but so many more that I just can't stand. This was the first time I had to force myself to finish a series.First of all, there were so many toxic and problematic characters. Mil was the worst and really didn't deserve the forgiveness he got. What the heck was with Green chasing after Tine when he was already in a relationship with Dim. Man was just literally a stalker!!!! Like... what the heck? I really don't mind toxic characters, but only when they're SHOWN to be toxic. When you're watching a light hearted comedy, you don't expect so much glamorized toxicity.
All that aside, the thing that I think annoyed me the most was how Tine and Sarawat moved in together VERY fast after they started dating... and yet a kiss on the cheek is just TOOOOO much for them? It makes no sense. Tine acts like a virginal princess despite them sleeping together in the same bed every night. Like... just what is or isn't going on in this relationship? It felt so completely strange. It's fine if they have some reason to not to be physically intimate, but that reason was completely absent.
So seriously, skip this show unless you like toxic stalkers played for laughs and the most pristine, PG adult relationship you've ever seen.

If you are searching for a classic fluffy cute BL, this is for you! MUST WATCH
I dont get why there are people that are hating on it, most of them say that is boring idk actually why, maybe because there is no nc scenes but that would be very dumb, I think it has a good cute plot, the acting was great, and the cinematography too.DONT BELIEVE THE BAD REVIEWS AND WATCH IT!!!!!!

Bromance
I personally think this BL series would have been better suited as a bromance! although the drama is easy to watch, the story behind both characters confused me. it was fine until the last episodes then it got dragged out and it was cliché.i do recommend this, if you like cliché college bl’s or if you like easy watches.
SPOILERS NOW
at some points i didn't really like sarawat and tine throughout the series as they both lead each other on and gave a sense of ‘false hope’. sarawat seemed somewhat forceful with tine.

Sarawat keeps me watching
It's extremely juvenile, exaggerated, the sound effects are annoying and the product placements are extremely obvious BUT Sarawat is cute enough to keep me watching lol. The acting is pretty decent although I have to give credit to the actor portraying Sarawat since this is his first TV show. There are 3 things I particularly love: Sarawat was actually pretty forward with his affections for Tine. The other thing that I love is the reveal that Sarawat has been in love with Tine since a year ago and that his stoicness in front of Tine is absolutely a facade. That's a good twist. He's actually incredibly happy to have found Tine. That's super cute. He joined Instagram for Tine and even wanted to use LoveTine as his username. On the other hand, it's disappointing that Tine always holds back, and is so insecure with their relationship. He feels like an entirely different character since he went on the reforestation camp. Lastly, Green is based on a stereotype but he's more than that. He's stereotypically gay: hilarious, hyper feminine and extremely clingy. However, the show balances these traits or subverts this stereotype by making him an excellent fighter and by revealing that he's actually in an on-again-off-again relationship with Dim; Green is romantically desired, not rejected (by everyone). And to add on to this point, the show also avoids common BL pitfalls, like calling one of the gay men "wife," or using the rather homophobic premise of "I'm straight but I like this man only." I make a point to mention this in every review I do. The sequel, Still 2gether, fails the "wife" criteria in the first episode. One of the weakest points of the show is how absurd the premise is. If Green is this persistent, it's sexual harassment. Instead of reporting Green to the school and getting rid of him permanently, Tine is putting more effort into chasing Sarawat. Also, convincing Green that he's straight is way better than making him think he still has a chance by flirting with Sarawat (because it shows that Tine accepts men). Tine is also painfully, unreasonably oblivious, which is annoying, because it's obviously to drag the show on. There's too much repetition and tells from Sarawat for me to believe that Tine is unsure of Sarawat's feelings for him. It'd be more believable if Sarawat made Tine confused about his sexuality and have him spend most of that time sorting that out instead of being unsure of Sarawat's feelings. Also, the assaults on Sarawat and then both Sarawat and Tine: why didn't they report them to the school? Absurd. The return of Pam felt completely out of place and unnecessary since she's introduced in the second last episode. She should have been introduced much earlier to add fuel to Tine's confusion about whether he's bi, and whether Sarawat likes him. THEN comes Mil who tries to chase Tine too. Anyway, if they made this change, and shortened the series to maybe 8 episodes, I feel it'd flow a lot better. Some nitpicking: I've never saw any cheerleader perform any cheerleading moves. They just put their arms up. Their first aid is crap. Really. Can't they disinfect properly?

No chemistry
I don’t know why so many people liked this serie. The story wasn’t that really original, and more importantly there was no chemistry between the main couple. Nearly nothing about the other one.I didn’t feel anything about the acting of Bright (Sarawat), I didn’t feel that he love Win (Tine), even as a friend.
I really liked the other couple, but we have nearly nothing about them, I really like Mike (Man) and Toptap (Type) but there was not a lot about them, even Frank (Phukong) and Drake (Mil) story was more interesting than the Main couple’s.
And why nothing about Guy (P’Dim) and Gus (Green)? Green is cute, I really liked him!
I know that the story is about Sarawat and Tine, but the part about the other couple are too short.
All the other serie I have watched have longer scene about the other couple than this one.

A cute series to binge
This is the first BL I've watched and I quickly fell in love with BL Series ever since. The overall atmosphere in this series is pleasing and light. It's just a light drama but still good to binge on. It's just me that I don't want complicated storyline and this one don't have it so I'm glad. The casts are great and cute. Some scenes are lovey dovey. I honestly wished that Gigie's role there as Pamela changed. It's a cute series and I adore everything. Yow, the soundtrack is very nostalgic and It's All In My Head All This Time is my favorite, I kid you not. Story-wise, somewhat digestible but I was just caught up of chemistries of the casts. It's not top of the top but still freely appreciated. Was this review helpful to you?
