The story felt totally fresh and unique--possibly because it's the first time travel drama I've watched, but it's already set the bar pretty high and I'm afraid I won't love any others as much. The episodes are shorter than I'm used to (around 45 minutes rather than 1 hr.+) and I think that was a great filming decision. Each episode is just the right length to give you enough story without weighing you down.
It has the perfect balance of adorable/happy and heart-wrenchingly sad. One moment, I was squealing with delight over the couple cuteness, and the next I was sobbing so hard I couldn't see the subtitles! The conflict doesn't get dragged on so much that you start to grow tired, but the tragedy is just... omo! It's all so perfect!
The cast was perfection. The chemistry was by far the best in any drama I've ever seen. It probably helped that the lead actors fell in love and started dating before the production was complete, but yes, amazing job! Speaking of chemistry, the kisses surpassed even "Lie to Me!!!"
The music... oh my. It makes me unable to stop thinking about the drama. I keep returning to the OST to listen over and over to the music. The song "Same Sky, Different Time" is heartbreaking, and gorgeous. "I'm Coming To You" and "Queen In Hyeon's Man (Instrumental piece)" are also great mood-setters, work perfect for the scenes they're placed in, and make me cry.
The ending makes sense, and is wrapped up in a satisfying way. We don't get a lot of extra screen time of them being together like some dramas will do, (like half an episode dedicated just to their dating) but considering how many cute scenes they gave us throughout, I didn't feel cheated in the least.
I've already talked about the rewatch value. I'm buying this just as soon as I can. End of story.
Overall, this is the best drama I have ever seen. I'm almost afraid to start a new one now, since I doubt anything can top this.

Story:
The story is fantastic so don't try to find a logical explanation to everything. However the story is constistent and gives you an explanation for the reasons why, which gives you the asnwers of the questions like "So why did this happen?" Don't forget this is a fantastic storyline. The only thing bothered me is that consistency is broken a little in the last episode but it still is maintained.
In this drama you love every character especially in the first episodes Choi Hee Jin's explanations and Kim Boong Do's reactions makes you love thema nd the drama.
Acting:
Acting was good a little bit exagerrated. Only thing that drove me crazy was that Kim Jin Woo's fake tan.
Music:
I really like the soundtracks. Also it really goes well with the secenes they are played.
Rewatch Value:
Although I prefer starting to watch a new drama, I would definetly watch this one again. But I don't think it would be this much exciting when you know the end. Still the love story is worth watching again.

Cast: is amazing! I'm a huge fan of Yoo Inna and she and Ji Hyun woo look fabulous together.
Music: It's enchanting! I could listen to evey single song on repeat for months and not get tired of anyone of them.
Rewatch Value: YES YES YES 10 10 10!!! I will watch this drama so many times before the years over. As soon as this drama ended I wanted to start right back over! It's so good. If I was in prison and they just so happened to have a TV set up in jail.. I would have no problem being in jail. Yeah probably the strangest way of putting it but seriously. REWATCH REWATCH REWATCH!!! :D
Overall: Usually I start dramas and 15 minutes into it I'll decide if I'll finish. This one I started and I was thrilled at the very biggining. I used to dislike historical dramas because I wasn't very familiar with Korean History. This one had me thrilled. I was up all night studying The Joseon Dynasty. By the end of the fourth episode I knew this would be on my Top drama list. By the end of the eighth episode I knew it was my absolute favourite, and it still is. All dramas make you feel different things. Such as: Laughing your head off, Jumping up and down out of excitement (usually because the main couple is being cute), Crying your heart out, And then you have those moments where you don't know what to think because it's an epic battle seen. This drama had the perfect amount of everything. Every moment in this drama was one or the other. No boring parts what so ever. I have absolutely nothing bad or negative to say about this drama. It's made of awesome.

I delayed watching this drama many times, as I've already seen some dramas about time-slip.
When you have watched some time-slip dramas, you will be able to find their similarities. And ofcourse when then you're given another time-slip drama, you will make some prediction how the story will go and get bored when the story really flows the way you predicted it.
But this one was refreshing, totally a different kind of time-slip drama. I really didn't thought that the story goes like that. I'm really glad I watched it.
The story was considerably fast and almost to the point. No draging.
The character of each roles is solid and almost doesn't change. You can easily understand their actions based on their characters.
I found the male character very interesting. Unlike in other time slip dramas (from past to future), where the person learns how to adapt in a funny way, he adapted coolly.
If you're looking for a sweet romance drama, you're totally at the right place.
38% - Romance (9/10)
It wasn't the normal rivalry love interest. It was somehow a tringular love relationship, but the story focused more about the growth of the feelings between the two leads.
And in the end you can also feel how deep their feelings got.
It wasn't a tear-jreking drama, but I cried greatly at one point because I could tell how much they loved each other. (Or at leats how much one of them loved the other one, but I don't want to give a hint which is which)
Both leads had really great chemisrty, as after this drama they decided to really date each other.
17% - Thriller (7/10)
As this drama is has the theme time-slip, it some story parts are about the past.
You know how in most historical drama there is a nobleman who always plots evil? This drama has that too and gives the thrilling aspect. There're a view fighting scenes you can watch, but if you're looking for action drama, "Queen In Hyun's Man" might not be a good choice.
20% - Comedy (8/10)
10% - History & Politics (7,5/10)
Part of this it is like a sageuk drama.
7% - Work/Bussiness: being an actress (6/10)
As the focus of this drama wasn't about being an actress, her actress live wasn't so interesting. But for the storyline to flow, it was enough.
8% - Others

The fun really starts when Bong Do gets the hang of how the talisman works.
I'd also like to mention that in most Korean dramas the character development is really a big thing. And I really appreciate that. However, Queen in Hyun's Man doesn't have that. The immature ex-boyfriend continues to be the immature ex-boyfriend. I don't mind. It makes this drama different from others.
Bung Do
I first saw Ji Hyun Woo (actor) in Angry Mom so it was hard to get over that personality. I was happy to see different facial expressions as he portrayed Bung Do. He's actually more hotter when he doesn't smile.
I like how he looks at Hui Jin. You can see how much he likes her.
Bung Do has got a lot of talents. He's a scholar, a fighter, and a quick learner. Mastering the modern world isn't that difficult for him.
I love how aware he is of his presence in Hui Jin's world and he wants to assimilate well so that he doesn't disrupt her life or embarrass her.
“I can't keep doing silly things that will be a nuisance to you.”
Hui Jin
I like that she's good at her job. And she doesn't take long to put her ex-boyfriend in his place.
The main thing that I like about this heroine is that she is consistent with her personality. She doesn't change because of her man and she doesn't have to learn a whole lot in life. I suppose some would call that lack of character development. But sometimes it's nice not to “learn a lesson” when watching a drama and just go along for the ride with a heroine who doesn't have major flaws that need to be corrected. She's okay from start to finish. Confident, flirty, and mischievous.
She has a lot of attitude that's satisfying. She has a bit of conceit to her that remains throughout the drama and I liked that.
Romance
“Selling that relic wasn't so dumb after all.” ~ Bung Do
There is lots of kisssssssing!!!!
This drama was really effective in convincing me of Hui Jin and Bung Do's epic romance in a short space of time. The music also was definitely a draw card with that ancient Korean style. Gah! Too good. I like that they are always so happy and relieved to see each other.
They get along pretty quick too. I like their boy-meets-girl, star-crossed lovers romance.
Because Bung Do appears and disappears, it makes for a bit of anticipation for the plot and for both of them when they finally get to see each other.
It's really cute as Hui Jin shows Bung Do how the modern world works and Bong Do's look of awe and fascination is adorable. Their relationship is one of equality. I love it! For example, Bung Do doesn't mind using the cute card and Hui Jin knows how to put aside her emotions to deal with things practically. She also steals kisses all the time which is so adorable and I was pleased to see the girl power.
They can tease each other and they have lots of fun together.
The way Bung Do cares for Hui Jin and her feelings is really touching and beautiful. He is chivalrous and noble without being a martyr about it.
Su Gyeong – best friend
She was really boring. But if she is the substitute for annoying elders, then fine. Actually, the first time she said she was like Hui Jin's parents, that was the first time I started liking her.
Also how hilarious was that continuing joke with her interrogations of Bung Do?

i surely didnt expect this drama to be this good, i really enjoyed it from start to finish. I thought that it would be a rip off Rooftop Prince, but it actually hold its own. The story was very good and worth it. The length was good, but to b honest i would have loved at least another 2 or 3 episodes.... i miss it :( well done

I totally recommend this drama. I've been looking for a drama which tears me apart but has a smooth finish. This one was absolutly worth my time. It is full of emotions, full of questionable problems. You can easily put yourself into the protagonist's shoes without slipping out of them ;)
I personally recommend this drama to those who are true believers in love and that, no matter what happens, love can happen anytime, anywhere even though we are practically talking about a couple who are as different as the European culture in comparison with the Asian culture.
This drama found a great mix of setting up tension in helpless moments and the way of finding solutions. Everything seems just so right and understandable in its own way. People might think that finding normal solutions might be easy, but as the short summary above explains 'He travels 300 years into the future of modern Seoul...'; having a valuable and meaningful ending in these time machine series is pretty difficult and I met so many weird endings who didn't really make sense to me before.
This drama totally rocked and still rocks my world. I watched it 3 times already and I recommend it to everyone.
The acting is marvellous. I'm kind of disappointed though that the main actress only had supporting roles before, because her work was amazing. She always made me feel sorry for her in any situation, independent from the man who is not your typical modern man.
This serie has its own magic and you defenietly can't compare it to others simply because the main couple catches your heart in a blink!
