It Stink
I was hoping to watch a drama about strong women that have control of their life, but this drama makes us look like women can be strong but we dwindle down to crap when a man comes into our lives. The only real strong women of all 3, was the talk radio host. Who weaken herself for a younger man who was the only smart person and supported her. The main female lead I wonder if she ever grew up, and she did not seem like she learn anything about relationship after her ex-boyfriend broke up with her. I do have to tell the writer that women at 30 speak their mind and I hated all that guessing about her first love and the phone number of another female. She was so afraid to ask him about the situation or find out how he really felt. Did she not learn from her last relationship to speak up so she would not get hurt. Those scenes I kept wondering am I watching a drama about teens or about adult women who have been out in the real world with experience. Lee Seung Yoo the male lead also made me upset because if he really love her he should have explain to her as soon as he knew she saw the phone number and why did the writer had to put in an obsess ex-girlfriend. You make us look like we all go crazy when we brake up and have to force the boy into love and threaten the new girlfriend. The girl who own the bar I did not understand her at all. She was strong owning her business but she had more of a relationship with the young man who was her part timer then her friend. I was really disappointed with all the characters and this story. I believe the actors try to do a good performance but the story stink. Was this review helpful to you?
All messy and crappy ending
You are a looking for a romance that would have you swooning this is the wrong movie for you. And trust me it never gets better at any point instead the last 3 episodes throws you into a frenzy of a mess without proper resolution or it even making any sense to the audience. The supposed ML is a loose canyon that lacks direction on whatsoever, our FL went from being in love with him to a messy situation that if you look properly she owed no one an apology but somehow she was hurt and still served the ones who hurt an apology because the writer decided to make it seem like the SFL was the one who was hurt initially. A whole truck load of crappiness going nowhere. Was this review helpful to you?

Pretty on the outside, not much value on the inside
I really hate it when the media treats women as if we have an expiration date. The body of a 20yo isn't much different of a body of a 30yo. This is evident on the way they treat the women and the men in this drama. There's no talk about going back to your 20's body or on how they can't do certain movements anymore. They're 30, not 60!
All this seems ageist and misogynist. The whole blame for the "cheating" was on the woman as if a man has no responsibility when he dates someone. He was the one with the girlfriend, he had to know how to respect his relationship and not the person who didn't know he had someone in his life.
The drama is called how to be thirty yet everyone except for the 24 yo and the film director seem so childish.
The ML was in a half-arsed relationship. He fell back in love with the FL and ended his relationship to start a new one, which is the right thing to do. Yes, when he slept with the FL he was still in a relationship (that's not very clear because he's seen ending things with the girlfriend several times) and could have held off of doing that until after but I don't think it's the big deal they make it in the drama. The FL didn't know about the girlfriend at the time so it's not her fault.
The girlfriend was a brat and the ML said so and he was right, that was proven with her attempt to ruin the FL's career. When someone breaks up with you, you respect it.
When FL has a conversation with the ex-girlfriend at the end, the blame goes around between them and is not direct at who certainly has the blame which is the ML.l, if there were any blame at all.
To me, it seems like it probably even isn't his blame. It looks like he tried to end things with the GF several times but she didn't respect his wishes.
Anyway, this is not what being thirty is. I'm older than that and I honestly can't tell what being thirty is. Probably is what the Caffe lady was, spending a big amount of time with someone you found out you don't connect with and then staying off jumping from relationship to relationship to really figure out what you want in life.
The best part about this were the visuals, the fact that they don't hide that adults have sex and the friendship between the three women.

Not Good Enough
Korean Drama "How to be Thirty" had an interesting take on romance, but the main couple was overshadowed by the second one.First of all, the drama started smoothly, introducing the characters and appearing to be another cute rom com about first love being rediscovered. However, soon things get more and more complicated, as the characters, actually the main ones, apart from being almost thirty, take one bad decision after another. In the end, things got sloppy for the main leads, the side couple wrapped up things nicely, and the third friend was simply forgotten.
Other than that, the performances were good and enjoyable.
So, overall, four out of ten.

Up to Episode 12 and it could have been so much better!
I had high hopes for this drama because of the male actors initially, but so far, all the actors have done a good job. The story and direction of the drama is lacking.Unfortunately, it is your typical non-communication/mis-communication tropes and for 20 minute episodes, the flashbacks are just too long and unnecessary. It is a 15 x 20 minute episode series so why do we need reminding of what happened 60 mins ago?
This drama could have been better, it might be redeemed in the last 3 episodes. If it is I'll be back to revise my review.
Flashbacks aside, it is still mildly enjoyable and short enough to binge watch.
I think the drama should have been fleshed out a bit with back stories and better developed side stories.

Awful plot and main leads
Honestly the sinopse looked pretty great! It had an amazing chemistry supposedly between the three girl but it ended in disaster. The main couple is just absolutely awful with a zero plot and it feels very awkward. Also it could be resolved in a 2 second conversation between them instead of this miscommunication trope they had going on. The FL was just written as stupid naive girl that misses all the ted flags and the cries about it. The ending is absolutely terrible when the FL and the supposed girlfriends of the ML meet is terrible and the message is just plain stupid. The second couple was wonderful but I wouldn’t see the drama just for them.

A Good Artists doing messy things.
Too bad for the ending, I'm very disapointed.I think Seo Jin Won is very unreasonable for her 2nd break up with Lee Seung Yo. She is not professional, and she is weak woman despite of adult age, she can't fight for her feeling and still very immature in relationship, she can't be model person.
Their relationship will won't work, because Seo Jin Won don't have faith, trust and loyalty to Lee Seung Yo. First she didn't spoke about her thoughts regarding the past relationship of Lee Seung Yo.
To have a successful relationship we have to clear our mind and removed any kind of doubts.
Seo Jin Won really don't had a love with Lee Seung Yo, her feeling toward Lee Seung Yo, is just curiosity, fear to be alone, and excitement.

The first episode might be considered boring . I was even thinking of dropping it but then I convinced myself to watch ep2 and it turned out to be pretty nice so I continued watching the series, it was interestingThe story is pretty intriguing
You keep on thinking about what is going to happen next
Love the supporting characters as well as the main leads chemistry.
I like how they conveyed the story

Being thirty doesn't mean you have figured out your whole life, or that your life is stable, your love life is perfect, it is about how chaotic life is even if your just turning 30. This story is about the life of 3 women who is about to turn thirty. One finding true love, one in a toxic relationship and another finally letting go of her traumatic past.
I'm not yet thirty so I don't think I can judge this drama fairly in terms of depth and meaning. At times it's depressing to see the main lead trying to hold onto a relationship while fulling knowing its toxic and how she refuse to have a proper communication with her boyfriend who she suspect is cheating on her. And in the end her own immature approach to her own issues and her reluctance to face her problems resulted in her paying a high price with her career.
In the end this drama shows you how imperfect you are no matter how old you get.

Too short,
I'm sure that if this show was longer it would be at my top top list.Honestly, it's real. As real as it gets.
It will not please the romantics of this world though.
I like that these characters are 30, or almost 30, but don't have their lives figured out and are still wandering around.
Because this show was such a short story they had to rush everything so some parts don't have the momentum that should. I love the fact that characters still hurting don't automatically switch to a different partner. I think it's very toxic to always be showing to audiences that to end a good show, people that were so recently hurt have to somehow move on and end with a new partner, or reconcile somehow with the old one. That's not what happens in real life.
There's people who we will always have lingering feelings towards. And it will remain like that for what if feels like forever.
At the end of the day, though, we get together with friends and talk about life over a beer and the day ends.
Definitely my experience turning 30.

How to act stupid
Okay. First off, yes I did watch this because of Minhyuk.But.
I've had this happen to me - in my 20s. I was dating a guy & another girl showed up to yell at me for dating him.
Well, you know what happens in REAL LIFE when that happens? You tell the other girl that it's up to said GUY which of us he wants! Then you confront the GUY you are dating., ask him WTF, and tell him to end things with either her or you. Some of my friends would end it with the guy simply for not admitting up front there was another girl in the picture, as well.
So, the lead girl is my problem. WHINY little SPINELESS creature. I'm sorry. She didn't do anything wrong. She should have told the other girl off immediately, confronted her beau, and then decided what to do.
Later on, after she'd finally made a mature decision, same girl who'd confronted her earlier decides to spread lies online, and our FL says she DESERVES IT!!!! OMG!!!! She didn't know the guy had a girl! WFT is THAT all about???? HE was the cheater, if anyone was!
So basically, I spent the last 3-4 episodes screaming at the TV about how idiotic this girl really was. I swear. I'm so over this kind of thing. No you don't have to apologize because somebody lies to you and you believe it! No you don't deserve to nearly have your career thrown in the toilet by some immature little liar who claims that YOU took her BF away, when it was said BF who cheated! AND lied about it! OMG
That little girl BTW was uber annoying. She basically conned the ML into having a sort of romance, when he really wasn't all that interested, and certainly not serious - she admitted it to our FL in fact. Then AFTER the FL & ML break up, she goes after the FEMALE for revenge just because the ML breaks up with her as well! That's mature and sensible of her, NOT!
So yeah, I had some big problems with how all that played out.
Notice I'm not upset by who the FL ended up with in the end. Not at all. That was not the problem here....

Big Waste of TIme
Don't believe all that 8.5 review it bullshit, I'm really sure what the writers and director was going for with the story it went flat real quick, it started with a stalking scene then it turned out it was cheating ex bf, then first love, then cheating or so it seems, then the ex girl comes and create hell but doesn't get any punishment ruins lives and it all good then leads break up, and the story is finished. What the hell was all that, waste of my time for nothing
