Too many unfinished scenes
Too many unfinished scenes and no make sense scene, such as:1. No explanation about JYX sleep disorder. Is he already ok? How it can be?
2. Li Yin relationship with JYX. After Qi Nian saw they hugged, no more story about Li Yin.
3. Qi Nian - Si Qi house that bought by JYX and the owner ask them to move out, but until the end of story, Si Qi and her girlfriend still stay at that house.
4. How about Quancheng restoration project? There's no scene to explain what male lead do, only sit in the office.
4. JYX mom said that she will be married and they have step-father, but in fact that is their biological father.

Red String of Fate?
These two leads could not be further opposites, yet the fit together like a mortise and tenon puzzle box. He is stoic while she is a loyal and frisky puppy. Speaking of puppies, one might think Prof. Ji's faithful pooch had a paw in making their love connection. Baby Qi (Qi Nian's psuedonym) meets Qi Boa after he decided to take himself for a walk. For Qi Boa it was love at first bite, after the scene stealer snags a piece of Baby Qi's beef jerky. He returns the favor by dragging her to meet his Dad, Prof Ji. He is just the slice of yummy inspiration she was looking for, a prototype that will save her career as a manhua creator.Completely ignorant about romantic relationships, Qi Nian is very straight forward about her personal interests in Ji Yanxin, but evasive about her professional ones. She sticks to him like a barnacle on his butt, becoming his TA, even though she is not a student at the university and doing everything she can to imprint her name and very essences into his mind.
Fate is a funny thing, as it turns out Qi Nian's mysterious "female," previously unmet roommate is in reality Ji Yanxin's didi, Ji Siqi, an unpublished manhua artist, and the biggest fan of Baby Qi's stolen original work. He complicates the budding relationship between the leads, having become infatuated with her after she validates his dream of becoming a professional manhua artist and hires him as her assistant. Having been estranged for years, Ji Yanxin would do anything for his didi except give up the girl he has fallen for. Competition for Qi Nian complicates their reconciliation.
This drama is filled with many sweet moments and sweet flashbacks, the sweetest is in the last few minutes of the last episode. We discover our leads fate was set in motion maybe ten years prior to when Qi Boa introduces his new mom to his dad. Ji Yanxin meets Qi Nian's dad at an ancient temple where her dad give Ji Yanxin her love plaque that girls leave when when wishing for marriage. He leaves with her plaque, which he keeps as a keepsake of his visit and walks by his future bride as she rushes to show her dad a sketch of Ji Yanxin, her first prototype, likely was the hero of her first manhua, the one that would be stolen from her.

Cute! Cute! Cute!
I just loved this drama!!! This was so cute... I loved the main couple and I loved the second lead couple. The female lead was really beautiful and the Love Triangle was really awesome. I didn't really liked the second female lead but with time I started to love her so much. I think the second lead couple had an amazing chemistry and I really enjoyed watching their scenes together. This was my first chinese drama and I think I liked this more than I expected. Now I'm always watching chineses dramas but I don't think any of them can be compered to this drama. Recommended for those who like to watch romantic comedies with light stories?
First couples:girl chasing comic-inspired guy who is totally in love. a man who can't remember people's names but the girls' names, although he is stiff and doesn't say much but is very considerate.
second couple: funny couple.from anti fan to falling in love.
third couple: Men who always protect women in all circumstances.
This drama doesn't have much conflict. have a light story. lots of scenes that make their own amused smile. the presence of an older brother who loves his younger brother is very touching.

Unpopular Opinion.
Am I the only now who didnt really like the main couple? Haha, honestly I love the second couple so much more. The third couple were cute too. Personally I feel the show lacked in completely showing the entire relationship of the first and second couple. I will not mention anything of the third couple only because from the beginning the focus on their relation ship had been the least and it continues throughout. However, thats the the case for the other two.Speaking about the first couple, there was no process of why they fell in love with each other. Sure, the FL fell in love at first sight which is the case in many dramas but is always followed by incidents that make the love grow fonder but not in this show. Same with the ML, I understand a sense of attraction when she puts in effort to make him remember her name but issue of him forgetting names is lost and becomes irrelevant soon after. Moreover, I just personally found their relationship boring. On the other hand the second couple was my favourite. Their relation started off with the female character taking care of the male which was cute slowly by the end the roles reverse. It was nice to see both of them protecting each other. However, the script writer did not spare any time for the male character to get over his unrequited love and to actually fall in love with the female character making it sort of feel like a rebound though im sure the writer didnt intend to.
Personally I felt that I would love this show if the second couple were the star of the show but with a little reworking on their relationship.

The Male Lead's acting is too stiff. So the chemistry between him and the Female Lead is not that great. Even though the Female Lead is quite good and funny.
Besides, there were too many forced kissing scenes. I'm sorry I'm being such a conservative. I think the forced kiss scenes don't make a story romantic but cringe. The Male Lead seems to force himself to look cool, fierce, and also firm.
The story is quite unique. I like the supporting characters. I like the love story of Ji Qiu and Shou Zui, it's more adorable. Even though almost all the love stories in this drama are between couples who have a big age gap, I don't mind. Because the characters are described as being old enough and mature.

Fun, simple love story filled with romance
This series is for those who would enjoy a fun romance without a lot of drama, with a simple flowing story line and beautiful actors and actresses.I loved this series for the above reasons. It was not draining emotionally, and it made me bubble over with joy and some instances were funny. I love how they portray the lady having to pursue the man, her dedication at this and not being embarrassed at all, after-all, she had a motive. I also love that it had a couple of kissing scenes, and not just one as seen in other series.
I enjoyed this one and I would watch it again. :)

Cute show
I have seen a lot of these types of shows lately. Call me a cheesy 40+ yr old but I never get tired of them. I watched Hallmark shows for years with my hubby. Now I watch these I think because there is a lot of story to them and not just one couples story but 2 or more. They also have a few hidden moments you don’t expect. That is the reason why I like them... oh! And the romance lol. So now for the show...Story... was a well written and executed story. I liked it a lot. Not a ton of the love triangle. And not any really nasty people you want to kill?. Just a clean smooth love story. If I could buy the book I would and read it over and over again.
Acting... spot on. Loved each of the actors/actresses. They did a great job. Played there parts and executed them well.
Music... I hate to say this but I have almost 500 MP3’s of music from Kdramas and Cdramas. And this one (if Amazon has it) I would get so I could listen to it over and over.
Rewatch? Yep! Sure would. This is one of me favorites. Like I said... it is smooth and clean. Does not give me anxiety because of hateful wicked Moms or ex’s. Just make me happy. ?

A romantic and straight forward watch!
was a surprisingly nice watch! very fluffy, cute and romantic. it was very straight forward and no annoying draggy storylines so a nice pace. all the characters were incredibly charming, i enjoyed watching them all. the acting is good from the whole cast as well, maybe a bit stiff from the ML but i think that’s his character lolloved that lil connection between the leads at the end ;) kind of wish they spoke more of it but it’s cute enough aha
some criticism: while i enjoyed all the couples, JQ and SQ made me raise an eyebrow or two. i think they’re adorable together but the fact that he’s looked after her since young is kind of weird lmao
also i don’t understand why the ML tells the FL that he’s controlling as a flaw of his and then just..... doesn’t try and change his ways? bit odd imo. it didn’t ruin too much of their relationship for me but can see how it might for others. he wasn’t crazy controlling like some MLs can be in cdramas so i guess i can overlook it. oh and qibao should have got a much bigger role!!!!!!!
overall, a drama worth watching. please give it a try if you enjoy simple romances :))

It doesn't worth to watch
It's a low quality cdrama. It doesn't make sense in some stories. Just the story of the main couple was understandable. The others were really non sense. Their acting were really off and the plots didn't even make you excited to make you want to continue the story. It's just a waste of time.The main couple was the best and all the series weight was on their shoulder but the other couples, their stories and acting was really cringy especially the underage girl with the boss. My mind was blowing how tje writer think about this story?? Are you out of mind? The manga lover boy should work on his acting skill or maybe the story was that bad?
