ITS A MUST WATCH!

I am very impressed with the story and cast. First of all A+ visuals are there in this drama. Lots of handsome boys and beautiful girls. Even if the visual is outstanding yet their actings are also appreciable. There is a sufficient amount of comedy, friendship and romance in this drama. As the plot is mainly about e-sports. I think a lot about e-sports has also been shown here. So overall everything is well balanced in this drama. The main thing i learned from this drama is that people who are interested in e-sports are not just internet addicts. For those people e-sports is their faith love and dream. I love the reactions of the boys when something happens between the male and female lead. I also like the fact that is being shown here that a girl is eligible to do anything

I really loved this show. This show is sort of like Love O2O. The only thing that frustrates while watching this show is that I can't understand the roles of the game they are playing, so it's really hard to understand what they are saying and what it means especially since I don't play that game. Other than that, I really liked it. I loved the support roles too. I loved Jin Yang and Ai Jia, they were a really sweet couple. I also need to mention, the cast they choose, OMG I don't know how they did this, but all the people were really pretty and handsome. Like most of the people the choose to play aren't really well know, and Ive never seen any of there dramas, but they sure know how to pick a cast.

Another thing, that I would like to mention is that I have no idea if this show is trying to advertise The Untamed. There were a few scenes where they had mention The Untamed, for example one part, there was a carnival for the games, and there was cosplay for The Untamed, one that episode there were also character plushes.

The truth behind E-Sports

As a gamer and a fun of C-Dramas, this was a must watch for me. Honestly though I had no expectations, or to be exact I've read a few reviews from male gamers and was already looking at it in a bad light. On the contrary though, after starting watching it, on the first few episodes I already knew I would fall in love.

The casting is mainly full of younger actors which was actually refreshing since the E-sports scene is mainly full of young adults.
I liked how through the story of Tong Yao we get to not only see a beautiful love story blossom but also see the reality and the darkest parts of the E-sports. How ugly fans can be, how people think Pro E-sports players are just young kids who like to game, etc. In that regard they did great at portraying all those ugly and beautiful truths.

I loved the chemistry between Cheng Xiao and Xu Kai. Also this drama is gonna feel all your needs for kiss scenes (lol so many asian dramas even forget of including one scene, this is not gonna be the case here)

I do believe the story started becoming a bit repetitive from a moment on, they could have delayed a few escalations, or actually given us some extra sub-characters deepen story moments, instead of having the same repetitive motives.

Also lets not forget how great the games graphic were! Honestly though as a gamer the only annoying thing was that they were playing a game that exists only for mobiles, in a computer (lol) of course they were kind of portraying the league of legends tournaments etc. Just probably were collaborating with the Onmyouji Arena(or whatever this other game is called oopsie).

Still for me it is highly on my rewatch list. I enjoyed it and made me feel the butterflies many times.

Xu kai! That is it .that’s the whole review.

I am joking (but not really). I have never understood the hype over him before this drama and now … let‘s say I have found a new love.

Initially I refused to watch this drama because of the controversies surrounding it. But 3 days ago I found myself bored in need of a rom-com and this has good reviews/rating so I picked it up with 0 expectations and I was not disappointed.

The plot is not much but it kept me engaged enough even though I am not really into e-sports. It was the characters and (OMG xu kai) that made me love this as much as I did. There were some eye-rolling moments and lines that made me sigh. I have made peace with the fact that they’re going to be cringy moments in every Chinese drama I am going to watch and I am fine with that.

The chemistry between the ML and the FL was off the charts and I liked their bickering. I only have one complain. I would have given this drama a higher rating if it were not for cheng xiao‘s acting. It was fine for the most part but at times, I felt like she did not show any emotions and here reactions were underwhelming. I am not hating on her I do like her as an idol but I think that she need more training before taking a lead role in a drama again.

Another highlights for me were the cats. The cute little one that they got later on I am in love.

Overall, it was a good drama. If you want something lighthearted with good characters, watch it.

A good watch with a realistic view into the gaming world

This drama provides a good outlook into the world of e-sports , it is one of the few dramas out there with very few if not no cliche scenes. It doesnt try to hide its sponsors and has some very clearly an ad scene, which can some times break the wall of reality which many shows try to uphold. The acting and cast of this drama is pretty good i only found the scenes where they tried to speak korean a bit off. The music is not anything you will find catchy or unique atleast from my perspective. but from a pure story perspective this drama truly deserves the 9/10. Only annoying part is that it could have been realisticly 28 eps i felt the final few episodes were a bit draggy.

Sweet and Enjoyable

When I saw this drama before it aired I thought it would have been cringe but I was pleasantly surprised when I started it. Overall, this was a sweet and enjoyable watch. The chemistry between the leads and supporting actresses and actors was amazing. I loved K's character especially (he noticed everything and snickered to himself like a cutie). I'll agree that the FL actress had some stiff moments but I still appreciated her acting and I think and hope that she will do much better in future projects. I also really loved that none of the characters were without flaw or were self-righteous throughout the drama. There were some moments where what happening in game was hard to understand but I still quite enjoyed it. Very happy that they devoted the final episode to the final game and not just sappy-ly wrapping up the drama.

A DRAMA THAT WORTH THE WAIT AND HIGH REWATCH VALUE

I simply wanted to say that Tong Yao is the best and luckiest female lead in a cdrama ever. I mean first of all, she managed to get a handsome, rich, popular and capable boyfriend like Lu Si Cheng, She also had a gorgeous, supportive and loaded best friend like Chen Jin Yang. Her parents were her biggest supporter. Besides, she got recruited as a professional esport player by ZGDX, known as the top esport team in China. Her teammates treated her like a princess. Not only that but basically most of the players from the other teams also respected her.

The chemistry between Xu Kai and Cheng Xiao are amazing. Even in the behind the scene's videos, we can obviously see that they clicked well. Their interaction in the drama are the main reason on why this drama has been gaining a huge popularity from international fans.

Falling Into Your Smile deserves to be called as the latest global sensation nowadays. It's a viral hit drama and people loved it because it is a perfect stress-relieved item for us who just wanted something sweet and meaningful to watch. Plus, there's a lot of wonderful and memorable quotes or dialogues in this drama.

"Love is a spark coming from noewhere to eternity. When I realized it, I'm already deep in love" - Lu Si Cheng (in the scene where LSC confessed to Little Fatty about how he felt in love with TY)
"Some people said that the meaning of love is probably, suddenly there's a person who can give you everything you want in this world within their own capabilities" - Tong Yao

Last but not least, the OSTs are really good. My fav would be Soulmate by Xu Kai and Cheng Xiao, Everytime by WAYV and Edge by Naomi Wong and I especially like Soulmate because Xu Kai said in an interview of the OSTs making video that other people can sing the song but the lines "We've never needed words because our eyes conveyed the messages" was belong only to Tong Yao and Lu Si Cheng. I was like wahhhh My heart fluttered when he said that. It's as if we're not the only one who admiring Tong Yao&Lu Si Cheng CP but the actors themselves also acknowledged the chemistry between them.

This drama deserves the hype that it is getting

I seen people post and talk about this drama everywhere on social media. At first, i wasn’t planning to give to this drama try because every time a drama gets popular on social media, most of time it it isn’t giving what people say it would. Thankfully, i gave this drama a try because this drama is in my top 3 favorite chinese dramas so far. This was my first time watching a drama from each actors. I seen some reviews saying the female actress acting wasn’t good and i have to disagree. Maybe it’s because this was the first work that seen from her. But i liked her acting as well with the male lead acting. This drama, for me, as everything that is needed in a drama. This drama shows bromance, romance, strong friendship. Personally, this has to be my favorite friend group or teammates in a drama. The chemistry between male and female lead couple was also good. I will be checking out more dramas from the main lead actors after this. If you don’t like online gaming drama or anything with gaming, then you probably won’t like this. But i would say to give it a try.

I want a season 2 of this drama

The story isn’t magnificent itself (it offers nothing new) but I fancied its pace, progress, relationship dynamics, the portrayal of friendship, how characters are written and their interactions happen. I wouldn’t consider it as fully plot-driven drama, it focuses more on the characters’ life-development-problems they face. There isn’t a specific evil antagonist here but it portrays the cruel reality of how social media, obsessive fans can play the role of antagonist with being so much toxic to the extent.

It’s not necessary to have information or have much interest in gaming to watch it, you can take it just as an individual romantic comedy.

In terms of chemistry, I felt the spark and they are just so cute together. I can’t imagine Chessman or Smiling without Xu Kai and Cheng Xiao. A classic example of a bickering couple, their fights are entertaining, the quintessential foundation for their relationship. The fact the progress in the relationship between them is very realistic surely adds more points. It does have an arc where it becomes more serious but it’s just for short time... it never stops being rom-com.

Tong Yao is just ambitious, hard-working, not to forget soo adorable, though due to her expressions she seems oblivious :’). But her development, the way she reacts to situations is genuine, I would rather say her character is rational plus human-like (The thing many drama writers forgot to make characters who can be considered as humans). Lu Sicheng can’t be considered a cold lead at all, he is just straightforward and honest. He does have different shades in nature...He can make mistakes but also admit when he is wrong. He has flaws as any normal human being can have with being a three-dimensional character. He can be very lovable, warm, tender when he is with Tong Yao but very austere and responsible as a captain of the team. Ah I forgot the important thing he is such a tease lol
I rewatch it for several time and this is top one on my play list in movie series. The acting was very excellent and very beautiful, they have a lot of crimistry. And it gives me excitement whenever I rewatch it I really love you both cheng xiao and xu kai you two are my favourite actors and actress in China. Also for the ZGDX family I really hope that there will be sa season 2.

By the way I'm one of your fan in the Philippines 🇵🇭..

Cheesy. To the point that I cringe at times.

I stopped watching Ancient Love Poetry and finished this drama in like 3 or 4 days. I started this one quite late. WeTV already has about 28 episodes uploaded when I started this and I didn't regret stopping Ancient Love Poetry for this.

What I liked in this series:
- The subtle... not so subtle flirting is just too much but you can't help but smile.
- The ML just can't stop being clingy to the FL when they became a couple, obviously making up for the lost time.
- The way the ML asked the FL to be his girlfriend kinda reminded me of how HS in GGS asked TN to get back together in episode 15. That was not a confession, it was like a choice that the FL has to make. It's kinda cute.
- The story of the FL's BFF and mid of the YQCB is cute, although I feel their screen time was short, I like the way they relationship grew.
- The awesome friendship. Need I say more? Despite the ups and downs they are friends who consider each other like family.

Ming God definitely I like, his acting is different from Legend of Yun Xi. I like him. <3

What I didn't like? Not much really, I wish there's a clarity on the reason why God Yang broke up with the FL. I didn't have a second lead syndrome in this series, but I like how God Yang didn't pester the FL until the end. He knew when to give up. I wish he could get his own story told when he meets the one for her.

I almost forgot, I like the way the series addressed the issues of e-sport players, the issues they face with their family and the prejudice of the people who is not aware how hard working this people are too.

The OSTs are okay.
Rewatch value, definitely, when I need a dose of fluff. Xu Kai is just a cute Chessman. Lol boyfriend goals...

fav drama ever

whoever is kind of apprehensive about watching this drama, just trust me and watch it.

it has ...
1. no unnecessary misunderstandings or drama (especially between the leads)
2. the second male lead is genuinely such a nice guy and doesn't really get in the way. super respectful of the female lead and her wishes (men need to take notes!!)
3. cutest friendship group / bromance of all time within the team. so glad none of the team members have a crush on her (i would hate that so much) but instead they're all so supportive of each other like brothers. provides the comedic relief and makes me want to be in some part of team just to have a bond like theirs
4. insane chemistry between the two leads!! she does NOT kiss like cardboard (like so many other cdramas) and i feel like its like a "normal" amount of kissing in an actual relationship. like sometimes dramas have like one or two kisses the whole show ...
5. the second lead couple is top tier! the tropes are completely different (like long, on-and-off relationship but not toxic) and he's literally also a perfect man (alongside the ml) and the bff is so gorgeous
6. great balance between gameplay and working hard and the romance aspect

AND my favorite part is:
it shows the internet's toxicity and how it impacts public figures, and it does it in such a realistic manner that i feel it really helps me understand how actors and idols feel. like as an army (but casual listener of other kpop groups) and being in the kpop world, the no-dating, threatening idols things is such a daily occurence and i think it's portrayed really nicely in this drama. how much the internet can twist things, the lengths 'fans' would go for their partner to not date, etc. and its consequences

all in all, top tier, best drama of all time! 100/10 recommend
