I was laughing my ass off most of the movie. It was cute, funny, had its endearing moments, had nudity, lots of talk about sex, leads with amazing chemistry and a song that will probably get stuck in your head after you hear it.
Some moments may be a little cliched, but that happens in almost all romcoms and not all of them are as good as this one. So even if you're not a fan of any of the leads, give this a try. Unless you don't want to see boobs. Then, don't watch it.

Then after watching it.. "WOW!" (with a big smile).. It really fascinate me that I can't get over how it moved me. Actors were really great! As for me, it's as good as the three movies I mentioned above.

My main issues with a lot of Rom Coms they tend to over do the nudity and sexual humor to a point where it's almost painful to watch. For those worried there's only two brief "breast shots" and that's the entirety of the nudity. This movie is definitely for mature audiences. I love the realistic take on Phone Sex, and why it can be so hot! To a bunch of friends just hanging around talking about sex and random things. What I love more is how Hyun Seung and Yoon Jung come to a point where they're so comfortable with each other they can truthfully talk about sex as well as personal things beyond that. Especially the long running question of Yoon Jung's panties!
A wrong number for a PS call made me thing this movie would be cute, but not much else. What can I say I'm a judgemental movie viewer. (Plus none of the synopsis do this movie justice!) Not only was that PS call sexy as heck, and funny, The resulting chemistry was amazing. Hyun Seung and Yoon Jung go from being angry at each other to being life lines. Hyun Seung finds help to move on past his breakup and realizes that no one is really at fault. There are good and bad times that lead up to the "end". In life you keep growing, sometimes you grow apart. Yoon Jung starts to become herself again. Realizing that she's been putting herself down, Hyun Seung helps her to love herself again. Friendship turning into an honest love. What I love the most is that it takes them a while to get to each point. Love isn't straight forward. It's hard to move on and get past your own fears.
Me likey a sexy movie that still makes me laugh! The humor is exactly how I like my sexual humor, meaning I don't want to poke my own ears and eyes out by the absurdity. Kim Ah Joong has been a fave for me after seeing her in 200 Pound Beauty, this girl is so fun to watch and I love her being in a more adult show. This is my first time watching Ji Sung, but he is an amazing actor and I look forward to drinking him up in other works. My PS Partner is easily one of my new fave Rom Com shows. In fact, this is probably a great movie to start a non-drama fan on.
Now if you'll excuse me, "Tell me about your panties!
Show me your panties.
Show me the color."

The story is really interesting, it was a very realistic concept and quite believable. I could definitely see references to real life here and there. It made the movie even more enjoyable. Hilarious dialogues, amusing scenes, pretty sexy phone conversations, and a really sweet and cute love story amidst it all. I loved the story!
The actors were quite natural I think. You love them instantly and feel connected to them. It was a really great work, enjoyed every single actor's performance!
Haha the music, when I think about the music all that comes to my mind is the outrageously vulgar yet lovable song that comes at the end, I'm going to call it 'The Panty Song'. Yes, that's exactly what I wrote, no typo :P There's a cleaner and awesome-r version of that song 'Show Me Your Heart' that Kim Ah Joong (I LOVED HER VOICE!) has sung. The music of that song is brilliant; the rest of the time, I was too engrossed in the movie to really notice the music so - sorry! :D
It'd be only right if I warned you about the sexual content in the movie, both verbal and visual. I never thought I'd have to write this for a Korean movie but this one is definitely for the adults. It's a really fun movie with excellent acting and an entertaining story to keep you occupied for the whole of 2 hours. You'll definitely feel refreshed after watching it. Recommended! :)

P.S. Partner stands for Phone Sex Partner (it's not a cute and cuddly film, so children beware!) and as the title suggests, there are some quite erotic moments and flashes of nudity. He he he, but coming from an American TV show background--this much was nothing. ^///^
To me, this story was not philosophical or deep. Rather, it seemed like a hopeful message to anyone stranded by undesirable relationships (u will know what I mean once u watch!). THE BEST part of this entire film was when Ji Sung, the main lead, sang the OST "Show Me Your Underwear."
That was a great song, LOL.
Anyways, don't decide anything yet before watching this film! It probably won't seem like a masterpiece, but it definitely is enjoyable--and it won't only be for flashes of porn alone.

A movie full of class, personality, and meaning. I didn't expect that.
It's not often I give 10 star ratings. My P.S. Partner is the best Korean movie I have ever seen. Everything from the cast to the music to the expressive acting is perfection. Let's get into it.Story: The plot of this movie is pretty standard and stays true to most rom-com tropes and cliches. Thankfully, it did them so well. I can't stand over the top dramatic plot elements, and this movie knew exactly where it wanted to go and how to get there. Nothing was forced and everything was plausible within it's own world. Heartbreak, love, friendship, more heartbreak, laughter, you name it. The plot points felt meaningful and natural where nothing was contrived and it all made sense. In the world that was created, the story just came to life.
Acting/Cast: Prior to watching this I was largely unfamiliar with the cast, but this is not usually an issue for me. For those of you who have doubts about acting quality demonstrated in this film, let me assure you, there is none lacking. I have never felt for characters so profoundly. Everything they said and felt was completely relatable. We've all been there before, or we know we might one day. It's almost like this is a coming of age film, except the angst and emotions are through people in their 20's, struggling to settle down. The themes explored in this movie are very real and very accessible, something I find equally refreshing.
Music: Usually this is the section I rate the worst. I don't care too much for the soundtracks in most films or shows since they usually all blend together and sound the same after a while. This is not the case for P.S. Partner. No spoliers, but if you watch, you'll understand why.
Re-watch Value: I've seen this at least 10 times over the course of a year and a half. That should speak for itself. I probably see it twice a year: once around Christmas, and once in the spring or summer.
Overall: 10/10. Hands down, no question. This will always be one of my favorite movies period. Give it a try.

I like the down to Earth portrayal of young adults in this. Relationships are messy. Good people sometimes leave or do unfair things, successful relationships fall apart, people find new partners etc. It's like the lead said: people meet, fall in love, leave and then meet someone new. It's possible that they get married solely to avoid this vicious cycle. Ultimately though, people crave intimacy, which also includes physical intimacy. I am so done with the story line in which 35 year olds have their shy first kiss because they were patiently waiting for their first love for 20 years. I love this movie for showing all shades of adult relationships. Yes, it is a movie with adult content and explicit sex scenes. I thought it was refreshing to finally see that in a Korean production. It's like Korean dramas have no problem dealing with sexual violence, corruption or murder, but are too scared to tackle sex in a real, mature way.
I felt that the characters were pretty multidimensional. The movie plays a trick on us: we root for a looser musician with no clear future and a woman so dissatisfied with her relationship that she is willing to cross lines that maybe should not be crossed. Even the beginning of their relationship is messy. If I had a situation like that happening between my friends, I would probably be very disturbed by that. Not so much in this film, though. The chemistry between those two is absolutely unbeatable. Even the conversations between the two leads were hot. However, what was even more intriguing was the deeper connection that slowly developed between the two.
Sure, the story is not groundbreaking and there are not millions of twists, but I don't think that there need to be. Fast pace ts not what makes this film unique.

Good story + A good laugh what else can you ask?

Story: It's an 18+(19+ in Korea) movie so be prepared what you are going to see. The main couple in this movie are eye-candy(& SEXY!!) It felt original to me, even if people don't think so.
Acting: The acting was awesome! Ji Sung's character was very different from Secret Love. I have not seen the female lead before, but she was awesome & daring for this role.
Music: It wasn't very memorable except for the main guy's love song(the need to see for yourself why).
Rewatch: I think I will rewatch it when I feel gloomy & depressed
You'll like it if you like the leads. You'll like it if you like to watch romantic-comedy, steamy scenes & eye-candy plot story with heart
