DOTS VS YRMH
For all the users who have watched DOTS and want to know abt YAMH.This is my honest review.
If you don't want to read the whole thing read the last line.
Differences
DOTS is abt a military man doing very highly dangerous worldwide missions. While YAMH is abt a high level police officer doing a few local dangerous jobs and mainly conducts training.
In DOTS the main lead is a funny guy who is serious abt his work and protecting people and never ever goes against his ethics of always protecting citizens first. In YAMH the guy is a cold guy who gets swayed by the girl and situations and I felt that he wasn't serious about never harming citizens.
Also in DOTS he asks the doctor to save a criminal just because he is a patient and a doctors job is to save while in YAMH there is scene where he asks why the doctors is saving the criminal.
Ik all these were negatives but there is one thing I liked is that the way they meet in YAMH is interesting.
There are many more differences but these were my major decision making factors sooo.
Anyway I have seen DOTS and after watching YAMH's 7 episodes I am bored with it so I really don't recommend it.

sweet but with the overboard asian flirting trope
The story is really cool and the characters are cool, it's starts really well and funny with the teasing and all. But honestly I don't like the trope that one lead falls really fast but the other doesn't like them and get annoyed by their presence. Then the one in loves goes overboard to get close to them, in this case is the housing situation (generally speaking so I don't spoil it for anyone).I just think it's too much you know, I know that it doesn't last too long but the the way the FL treats the ML kinda. Also I couldn't move on from the situation I referred earlier, I know it's stupid but it really bothered.

Watch For Great Lead Actor- nothing else!
Although the FL actress mumbled her way through the part and didn’t seem to find the ML attractive, I managed to enjoy most of the drama just based on how handsome and talented the ML actor was. But i got triggered by the last three episodes.I would give the first 37 episodes 8/10 but the last three a zero. *spoiler* I simply cannot stand any more “romances” where one of the couple abandoned the other for months/ years for “career”. Hear me writers and producers: THIS IS NOT ROMANTIC. Career is an illusion. Somebody can die in an instant, especially here where ML is a SWAT officer. You might not have two years to come back and resume. I just cannot abide this anymore. It absolutely ruins a drama for me.

TBH, I am usually picky when watching Chinese drama because some of the scenes are quite cringey.Anyways, one thing I REALLY don't like about this drama is their medical scene. I think the writer and the director did not do their research properly. I know this is not mainly a medical drama but the scenes were directed poorly. The elevator scene, two doctors were trapped with a rib fracture patient, no IV line, no indication that the patient has a rib fracture, even though he was already diagnosed with a rib fracture.
Another scene like, Dr. Shao was doing a major brain surgery but there were no blood seen on his gloves, even Mi Ka's gloves were so clean, the surgical area was so clean. they only show a video of how is it done but, hello, major surgery, right? Post surgery, the patient was recovering but there were no IV fluids or oxygen attached to the patient's body knowing that the patient just have a major brain surgery. Seriously?! Even non-medical dramas, they make it look like it's reality with the IVs, oxygen, blood, etc, like a real operation but not on this drama. One of a reason why I skipped a lot of medical scenes in this series. :(
I like some of the fight scenes though at least the action scenes were quite believable. i just wish the background music adds more feelings towards the scene. It's an action scene so more intense BGM.
One thing I like about this series is the romance part. The male and female lead, the supporting female and male lead had a spark and connection which makes it more okay and fun to watch. :)
Overall, if you're looking for a romance drama, this series is okay but don't expect much with regards to their medical scenes.

Great but....
I really was looking forward to seeing this series! I really enjoyed the chemistry between the characters, but I couldn't get passed the second episode for one reason. That reason was the poor English subtitles. They were really confusing and didn't make sense a lot of the time. I hope that they can get fixed because I really would like to finish this series!Other than the subtitles, the actors were great! I think that there is some dubbing of the dialog because the actors voices sound different from other shows that they have done.

Décevant et ennuyeux (je voulais comprendre sa popularité, j'ai lamentablement échoué)
Abandonner un drama ne me gêne pas. Le plus souvent, j'abandonne sans y réfléchir à deux fois. Mais il m'arrive aussi d'abandonner puis d'y revenir plus tard (que ce soit en jours, semaines, mois et même années (oui oui)). Ce qui fut le cas pour ce drama. En réalité, s'il n'avait pas reçu autant d'intérêt, je n'y serais pas revenu. Cependant, une partie de moi voulait comprendre les raisons de sa popularité. Ai-je trouvé la réponse ? Non ! Ai-je perdu mon temps ? Oui !Tout d'abord, le côté médical et son manque total d'originalité. Des tumeurs et des cancers à l'appel et... et c'est tout. Que la FL soit médecin n'a donc aucun réel intérêt pour l'intrigue, c'est bien dommage.
En parlant de FL... Mi Ka est une chirurgienne qui se retrouve envoyée aux urgences. Pourquoi ? Pour pas grand chose, mais ok. Ce n'est même pas un détail important de toute façon. Elle possède tous les traits types du gentil et bon médecin. Mais soyons honnêtes, n'est pas Dr House qui veut. L'actrice n'est pas convaincante et ne provoque pas de sentiments particuliers.
Quant au ML, Ke Lei. Membre d'une unité du SWAT, c'est un personnage sympathique et oui, on ne pourra nier qu'il est furieusement beau dans ses overcoats, mais c'est un caractère classique du genre. Il ne chamboule pas l'écran comme on pourrait l'attendre dans une romance.
De plus, le lien entre les deux personnages est intéressant. Cependant, c'est mal et pas assez exploité. Donc finalement, il fallait juste un moyen de créer un connecteur pour mieux l'abandonner ensuite.
L'histoire est longue ! Ça traîne, et je cherche encore le « super original » que j'ai croisé quelque part entre deux avis. On est sur 40 épisodes de 45 minutes. C'est tellement long quand rien ne se passe dans l'épisode (et l'action se compte sur les doigts d'une main). Les scènes se suivent et avec un peu de réflexion on sait d'avance ce qui va se produire. Il n'y a rien... Ou du moins, je n'ai rien trouvé.
La romance, en plus d'être discrète au point de se demander si elle existe, est digne d'une classe de maternelle. Ce ne sont pas des adultes mais des gamins. Au début, c'est mignon, ensuite ça devient juste gênant et ridicule. Le couple secondaire est aussi peu intéressant que le premier.
Bref ! Je ne comprends pas la popularité de ce drama. Parfois, je me remets en question ou je ne suis pas dans le bon état d'esprit. Mais sur celui-ci en revanche...

Avrebbe potuto essere un 10 pieno se...Se non si fosse perso brutalmente nella seconda parte. Tutte le vicende pre e durante il terremoto, inclusa la relazione d'amore principale, erano tutte bellissime. Proprio quello che cercavo: azione, drammaticità, amore nel giusto equilibrio. Sentivo già che stava prendendo un posto speciale nel mio cuore. Purtroppo tutto è andato in fumo. Infatti, nella seconda parte del drama l'azione scema quasi completamente lasciando tutto lo spazio alla dolcezza e mielosità della coppia che ci starebbe anche ma non puoi differenziarmelo così tanto da prima. Si vede un evidente squilibrio della serie. Dopo un po' la coppia principale mi ha stufato e tutta la mia attenzione si è spostata su una delle altre coppie dove uno dei personaggi è sempre facente parte della SWAT, coppia la cui storia ho amato. L'altra non la sto nemmeno a nominare perchè... beh non mi è piaciuta. Peccato davvero perchè io sono un amante delle serie americane medico/ospedaliere e quelle basate su corpi militari. Con l'amore a unire il tutto sarebbe stato il connubio perfetto. Peccato davvero.
I primi 20 episodi rimangono cmq tra i più belli e memorabili visti finora nel 2022.

Excellent !!
Drama très accrocheur dès le 1e épisode (probablement même réalisateur que Go Go Squid 1)L'histoire ressemble un peu à "Descendant of the sun" (version chinoise, mais beaucoup plus réaliste que la version coréenne, très dramaland). Les péripéties sont crédibles : tremblement de terre, sauvetage, etc.
Cette fois, les principaux protagonistes sont un agent du SWAT (réaliste et craquant) et une chirurgienne. J'ai beaucoup aimé le développement de leur relation, leur confiance en l'autre, leur volonté de protéger l'autre et de protéger leur couple.
La romance secondaire est aussi bien développée et très cute.
Rq : pour une fois, les médecins, les militaires, les soignants,... n'ont pas l'aire d'avoir tous entre 20 et 30 ans (ce qui semble crédible, vu la durée de la formation).

The series is one of the best dramas I've seen.
Die Serie hat mehr als 10 Sterne verdient. In der Serie ist alles dabei. Von einfach nur noch über TOD LACHEN bis NUR NOCH ZUR HEULEN. Dann wieder mega spannende Action bis zur Gefühlen Momenten.Der Cast passt echt perfekt. Ich hoffe auch eine zweite Staffel wegen den zwei anderen Polizei Kollegen. Die hätte auch ein Happy End verdient.
The series has earned more than 10 stars. Everything is included in the series. From just LAUGHING TO DEATH TO JUST CRYING. Then again mega exciting action up to the feeling moments.
The cast fits really perfectly. I also hope for a second season because of the two other police colleagues. It would also have deserved a happy ending.

Heu...je sais pas quoi dire.
Le héros m'a parut si incongru, pas du tout à sa place dans ce drama . Son rôle ne lui convenait absolument pas, tellement que je l'ai trouvé ridicule à plusieurs reprises. L'heroine n'est pas transcendante ici et question clichés on est sacrément servis. J'ai trouvé des longueurs et n'ai pas insisté plus, sinon ma critique serait bien pire.Was this review helpful to you?

Esse drama é perfeito do começo ao fim. Desde o inicio tive a impressão de que gostaria do plot de policial e médica (não é um remake de DOTS) e não desapontou. O casal principal tem muita química e são bons tanto juntos quanto separados, os personagens não são chatos e acompanhar tanto a parte médica da Mika, como a parte policial do Kelei era bom do mesmo jeito, e quando trabalhavam juntos era melhor ainda. Pouca coisa atrapalhava eles como casal quando ficaram juntos e ver o companheirismo deles e o amor que tinham um pelo outro vale a pena.
Quanto aos personagens secundários, o casal Xia e Wenbo demorou de me convencer, principalmente pelo Wenbo acabar demorando demais pra aceitar o fato de gostar da Xia, mas quando eles ficaram juntos foi bom de assistir. O casal Keyao e dr. Shao foi ótimo e gostaria muito de ter visto mais deles, gostei bastante do paralelo entre o que os levou a terminar antes com o que pode acontecer com os protagonistas, mas gostaria que fosse mais explicado anteriormente.
A equipe do hospital e a equipe Tigre também foram ótimos de se acompanhar, principalmente a parte médica que te faz sentir apego aos pacientes.
No geral a história do drama é ótima, e souberam seguir bem com o plot pra não cansar e nem se apressar demais.

Una grata sorpresa!
Esta historia de amor entre un policía swat i una cirujana es adictiva. Tiene un no sé qué! Cuando empiezas ya no puedes parar. La pareja principal es una monada, su historia de amor es muy tierna , muy dulce, tienen una gran química!!! Ella es cirujana y es esencialmente un ser de luz, bondadosa, cariñosa, humilde, leal, una gran protagonista y él, un policía swat con grandes dotes de mando, muy capaz y talentoso en su trabajo, de apariencia seria y fría, pero en realidad es un hombre tímido , servicial y cariñoso, nada orgulloso ni prepotente, una buena persona. Te lo comerías a besos con sus orejitas y todo, jajajja. De hecho los dos protagonistas se parecen, es un caso en que dos buenas personas de carácter parecido se atraen y se emparejan, son como dos mitades de un mismo corazón. Son el héroe el uno del otro. Hacen una pareja fabulosa! La pareja secundaria también me gusta, aunque a algunos seguidores de la serie les ha parecido por momentos cargante. A mi me hacen reir. Y encuentro muy interesante la pareja madura, a lo largo de los capítulos se desarrolla muy bien su historia de amor. Las escenas de acción y de entrenamiento están muy bien logradas, la camaradería entre el team de swats es fantástica y muy divertida, la vida de Mi ka y sus colegas médicos en el hospital me está gustando mucho, los casos médicos entretenidos, bien actuados los momentos emotivos. Los momentos quirófano mantienen la tensión sin pretensiones. No podemos comparar la recreación de las operaciones quirúrgicas de esta serie con obras maestras del género de las series de médicos coreanas o occidentales. Están hechas de manera correcta y punto. La música me gusta bastante, los exteriores y la fotografía complementan muy bien este drama tan cálido y luminoso. Lo recomiendo muchísimo.
