they try the same illusion kind of concept in both dramas so the audience can amages it.
one is about gaming where they not met in person but connected by game and game character played by themselves other drama main element is a dream they didn't meet in person but the in the dream it has already.

They are similar in terms of how the drama or gaming is shown. It kinda looks like virtual reality. Both the dramas have their differences as in terms of their plot and character's behaviors and the actually purpose of the story but both revolve around gaming and have their own comedic factors. Both the ML's in them are smart and popular in their own way and I find that they are entertaining in their own respective ways.
Both dramas involve a younger male lead who became a life long fan of the other lead after a simple act of kindness as a high school student. Now that the leads are in college and have risen to stardom (respectively), they find their paths crossing on regular basis, stirring up romance and conflicts involving their different statuses.
Both have the famous woman and common man trope where ML in both series is a huge fan of the FL. I really enjoyed watching Love Scenery with all the cute moments between ML and FL. It is such an interesting story. So if you would like to watch something similar to A Beautiful Lie as it is airing, Love Scenery is a great pick.
