It comes to my mind how funny it is that the villain the first to discover who Orchid/XiaoLanHua really was. Things were going good of them two sharing and relating how they grew up. Then, they fought again about their principles. Why the villain wanted to catch Jieli?. That hairpin! That was the one Dongfang Qincang asked Shangque to search. I really dislike the bgm when the villains appeared - _- Hah! I knew this plot. That was not changheng at all. Like it was obvious from the way he talked and walked, it wasn't Changheng. This Hellfire power was pretty to look at. I guess they decided to make it blue bcs of the star things. So I need the explanation how DFQC tackled that illusion place. Sksksks she was busted. Luckily she knew how to appease him. I'm thinking can Ronghao still enter shuiyuntian after being healed by the Evil God?? But then even, DFQC can do it. She started to like him I guess, that's why she didn't want to remove the hairpin.

8.0/10 - This was really intense and well written. I feel the feels.

Chang Heng! He was imprisoned that fast!!! How did Immortal Emperor know? Honestly I think it was super shady. Because Rong Hao had just finished asking if Chenag Heng new what he'd do to get his master back. Betrayal was super fast, I feel like Rong Hao had a bigger scheme.

Nooooooooooo! They're giving my Black Dragon, Shang Que, to Jie Li! I really loath her. Guess my dreams of Dan Yin and him are not going to ever happen. The thing is the whole scene where Jie Li and Dragon, Shang Que are bonding over both being orphans and talking about how the experiences changed them differently didn't warm me up to Jie Li. Shang Que took all the terribleness and turned it into honesty and goodness. I didn't even feel that bad when Shang Que shares that Dongfang Qing Cang saved him, and Jie Li shares know one has ever saved her. Which is odd, I should feel more compassion, but Jie Li rubs me the wrong way. Because right after she puts Orchid in immediate danger. Bullying her into leaving with her. *eyeroll*

Orchid is promptly kidnapped by Rong Hao. Who thought he as going to get Rong Hao, but gets the bigger fish. Which reveals why Rong Hao made sure Chang Heng is imprisoned. What a plan to trick Orchid by pretending to be Chang Heng. Not to mention that he makes up somewhere safe for her to fix the Spirit Book.

Dongfang Qing Cang is truly amazing rescuing Orchid. When she asks how he knew which was her and not an illusion and he answers that he would know her anywhere it stung. Because he asks why she suddenly fixes the Spirit Book, and it was because Chang Heng asked her to. Rong Hao exclaimed that he didn't expect Orchid to realize that he was impersonating Chang Heng so fast. The truth is like she told Dongfang Qing Cang, the stand he broke was there. Then she asked a question to trick Rong Hao into confirming things 100%. So I did like that. Progress.

This was a pretty intense episode. I liked it and it was HUGE on character development. Especially between Orchid and Dongfang Qing Cang. Orchid says she won't ever leave until he's healed and I think Dongfang Qing Cang realizes that he might be experiencing some of his own emotions. Like fear and worry over Orchid which plays out so intensely. Then to follow it up with this hunter camp made it even more intense. Ending with Dongfang Qing Cang wondering why NOW Orchid doesn't want him knowing what she's thinking.

Oh, we know. *grin*

Friendships are tested and DFQC dedication to XLH is further tested

Jieli's character becomes more important in this episode as her friendship and loyalties are tested and displayed. Xiaolanhua realizes that people may also betray and cheat her. Dongfang Qingcang realizes that maybe XLH means more to him than her use to release the 100K moon tribe soldiers.
