This is a nice, light romantic comedy with little angst and quick resolutions on the leading’s couple issues. The leading couple has great chemistry that makes up for the lack of zest on their romantic scenes and their love and support for each other is steadfast. The camaraderie amongst the rest of the characters that work with Xu Jia Xu at Voya is fantastic and fun to watch but there was too much focus on the business issues instead of the leading couple’s romance, after all, the title is about Lu Jia and Xu Jia Xiu falling back into love! Although the ending was good, it doesn’t emphasize the main couple. Still, it is nice and entertaining.

Unexpectedly lighthearted drama

I guess no one is new to Tang Xiao Tian and Sun Qian! Love this combo! They are totally cute in this drama. Although there are some parts where I feel they didn’t delve in deep enough.

I really like how everyone in the office appreciates one another, and how life lessons can be learnt here and there; like knowing you can count on your family and believe in your colleagues when the going gets tough, the tough gets going.

On a side note, I really hoped that was something between Song Jun Xi and Lu Jia and also Shao Yi Feng and Janice

Light cute and romantic

I love Daddi Tang here, he's so handsome better than PYHOMS. Wish he could have more series like this.
Lu Jia and Xu Jia Xu have good chemistry. Good acting. I really liked their sweet moments. They made my heart flutter and I can see myself smiling on some scenes. The supporting actors did well too.
If you're looking for light romantic series with light conflicts, you can consider watching this.
The sound tracks are awesome!
If you're feeling down and want to watch a series, I recommend this one.

if you like fluff this is for you

I binged watched the 12 eps on wetv while waiting for subs for love and redemption and i am not regretting it.
If you want to watch a series thats just fluff this is one of the good ones.

The story is not so original girl likes boy back in school but girl thinks boy didn't like her back... Fast forward 7 years later they meet again and girl falls in love with the same boy.

The leads fit their roles perfectly. ML is so different from his role with PYOHMS but his good with the stiff ceo role. The FL is kinda immature IMO but its just halfway through her acting is almost the same as when she was the fiancee of Dao Ming Si in Meteor Garden. Bur the role needs that character.

The friends and coworkers of the leads are really funny and endearing. I can't wait to see how the MLs best friend woud react when he learns the leads are a couple. The dad of the FL is really funny too trying to hide his gf from his daughter. Lol.

The songs at the start and end are addicitng too...
Rewatching it on the weekend specially the episode with the grandma.

You keep using that word - I do not think it means what you think it means

After dropping "my little happiness" having watched just 4/28 because of the toxic nature of what it portrayed as romantic, I decided to give the next C drama romcom on my watchlist 8/26. I dropped it for the same reasons that I dropped "my little happiness". I understand the tsundere trope - the cold emotionally distant male lead who bullies and hurts the female lead because inside he's a kindergarten kid yanking the ponytail of the girl he's got a crush on. I don't love the trope, but I understand it. I can put up with it too if the bullying behaviour is not rewarded. If the tsundere male lead first has to learn and appreciate that he is being a jerk and modify his behaviour before the female lead develops romantic feelings for him, I'm fine with that. It is, if you like, a redemption arc - people can change and positive character change should be rewarded.

What I loathe is when calculating, controlling and bullying behaviour is rewarded by having the female lead "fall in love" with the bully not AFTER he changes his behaviour but despite or possibly even BECAUSE OF his manipulative mistreatment of her. That is exactly what happened in the first quarter of this drama, and that's why I dropped it. He systematically abused his power and authority over her, singled her out for consistently malicious treatment, and denigrated her competence. The result of this mistreatment? She developed feelings for him. BARF!

Another really troubling element of this trope, one that was very clearly on display and this drama is that the one thing women are not allowed to be is - competent.

The female lead left a good job in Beijing because of standing up for herself and refusing to be abused. She comes to a smaller town, where her resume and skills should make her an automatic hire, but the first quarter of the drama shows the male lead to breaking her down and painting her as consistently incompetent until she admits that she is in fact incompetent and needs the male lead to clean up her mess. This is a really, REALLY toxic message, and its almost universal in 9/10 Chinese romcoms. There is nothing remotely romantic cute or appealing about this often repeated message in C drama romcoms. I hate dubbed dramas, so it's really saying something that as bad as the dubbing was in this drama (and it was AWFUL), it was the very least of my problems with it. I am pleased that that I stuck it out for more than 1/4 of its entire length in order to make a fair assessment of just how misogynistic, chauvinistic and regressive its message really was. The quest for non-toxic chocolate box romances goes on.

very cringey

Honestly I would LOVE to finish this drama but it's way too cringey in terms of romance for me. [SPOILER] so far i'm at the part where they just started dating and keeping their relationship a secret at the office, but they are SO BAD AT HIDING THEIR RELATIONSHIP. Like it's already too much for me too handle. I know others were able to watch it even tho it was cringe worthy but I can't it makes me wanna pop my eyes out.

The story is good tho but their secret office romance is too much for me, they might as well not a have it as a secret if they're gonna be like that lol.

Office rom-com with thin plot but likable cast.

Lu Jia returns from Beijing and finds herself working at Voya, a company run by two old classmates. One of these classmates is her boss and former crush, Xu Jia Xiu, who rejected her confession back when they were classmates. Lu Jia finds him unbearable now and wants to quit, but her contract specifies she needs to stay at least a month or face stiff financial penalties. Hijinks ensue, with Lu Jia determined to make enough money to quit and Xu Jia determined to keep her around. Add in a quirky cast of coworkers, and that's the drama so far. The plot is paperthin and the drama is largely carried by the engaging cast. The romance is a slow burn, and you get to see each character's unique personality and layers unfold. I'm (so far) still willing to see where the story goes.

Boring

Boring so boring . Watched till 7 episodes nothing new I found .Same monotonous each episodes . Though he looked for ,he wanted her but his expressions were too dull . He creates rowdy(rude) look but it not comes perfectly . Both leads expressions were so dull . Second lead much better than them . Since starting ,story had no spark . Feel no connectivity with each episode and for such things I don't have passion so I decided to drop this drama . This is totally my views . Do you want to see because of actors then , you can try for it .
