Amazing start

I have watched this series 9 tines and still, as if I am watching it for the first time. 1st episode is already action packed. The bickering between the Fengxis is cute. Zhao Lusi and Yang Yang has tremendous chemistry that can't be denied.
Sadly, a nice and handsome character died in this episode.
Truly the best 1st episode in a series I have watched.

Medicine for a dead man

Just finished The Long Ballad and was searching for a similar Cdrama dive into. I admit I selected this because it stars both Wang Wang and Zhao Lu Si who are eye candies. This girl (Zhao Lu Si) is really going places! Since first seeing her in The Romance of the Tiger and the Rose, I've seen her back to back in several successful fantasy oriented cdramas as a main cast. While I've generally enjoyed her performances, I am looking forward to seeing both actors try something outside of their familiar genres. Both do not stray far from their classical romance-adventure genre. The premise of the show starts of with several kingdoms receiving a decree to search for an Empyrean totem that would grant them the power to "Rule the World". Oh great, it's one of these fantasy dramas that portrays nothing of thoughtful and sound leadership. With cliche single-minded rulers and mindless soldiers. The swordsman fight scenes are as usual impressive in these sort of chinese dramas. The plot feels lacking and the first episode ends with a skilled lieutenant of a noble family losing their life after the heroine tries to save him - because of a fake token. Is there a logic as to why the heroine cannot carry him off the mountain with her exemplary skills? Or how the lieutenant couldn't just escape the mountain himself since he had enough energy to perform impressive martial art feats? No, no logic at all. Instead, the heroine gets medicine for him and gets poisoned in the aftermath of trying to get him off the mountain.

It turned out like what I have read in the novel only better! They clearly showed the story on how I pictured it.

I really like the introduction, how the ML and FL introduce.

In episode 1 it gives me goosebump when how the FL and ML introfuce. So interesting especially how Bai Fengxi saved Yan Yingzhou, her fighting skills makes me amazed.

IT'S FINALLY HERE!!!

It feels like I've been waiting for this series since forever to air! I can't believe it's finally here!!!! Can you feel my excitement?!!!?!!! I'm looking forward to their chemistry. I just wished they dubbed it personally. Regarding the drama: we're off to great fight scenes already. The plot immediately starts without so much building.
