Ending Again is, much alike XX, a more adult/serious themed drama than those that Playlist usually opts to produce, going as far as to carry out a controversial (my opinion, based on both of their motives) fake marriage story.

Although the clear intention of wanting to showcase something emotional and deep, a story that perhaps adults can relate to more was there, personally, this drama came off as vague. It lacked Playlist's usual "sparkle", that element of endearment that leaves you sad that the series is over, that makes you want more, that leaves you... attached.

The characters (all very gorgeous) had empty-like personalities, built around in a very basic way around the relationships each of them carried out. It seems that to be more mature, the writers sacrificed their characters, making them one dimensional. The story was okay, put as dramatic as they could in 12 episodes, and the performances, especially Soo Min's, were great, although I did wish that Geon Won wasn't pouting 90% of the time.

One thing I must praise is the choice of osts (sung by Rothy and Park Won) and the incredible quality of their filming. It helped paint and shape the scenes a lot more. The art within the drama was also beautiful.

Overall, Ending Again isn't exactly bad, but for someone that has seen many dramas from the same team, it's a bit disappointing.

I have a thing for contractual living-together relationships in rom coms and this was the bomb! Totally introduced me to the vast world of web dramas.

This one was a short but sweet watch. Both the male lead and female lead are lovable characters I could really support and ship together. The one thing that bugged me was the crappy reason behind the male lead's actions, but I guess it was needed as a plot driver :( This is just my selfish shipping getting in the way of an objective commentary for plot line lol. If only we had a season 2 to see more cute fluff.

When Male Leads Have Personalities of Two Wet Socks

I werent planning to write a review but once my casual comment on this drama reached some lenght, i decided to turn this into legit-ish review post.

As a long-time fan of contract relationship stories, i am willing to let slide stupid plot set-up for the sake of my entetainment. Entering contract marriage for newlywed loan and revenge? Why not! Basic premise and set-up was okay. The problem is it took way too long - instead of some nice co-habitation/pretend scenes between female lead and fake-husband (which we got only at the end of the drama as flashbacks?!) we were given infinite amount of nice scenes of FL and ex-boyfriend. Which endcouple were we really supposed to root for? Literally no couple had enough chemistry to overpower the other. Also?? Was the /big reveal ™/ during art exhibition really surprise to someone? No, then why was FL so shocked? It could be much better if she realized it earlier once she knew who the artist was.

The acting, especially from both male leads, was atrocious. The female lead really tried her best and i enjoyed her for the most of the time (quite frankly, she carried the show), but the dudes showed literally no emotion whatsoever. You could use carboard cutout of these guys and we wouldnt even know (except for the scenes in rain. i suppose they would bend slightly). All the characters were criminally underwritten and honestly... most of them didnt even have one personality trait so i can imagine it was perhaps impossible to perform sufficiently.

The shaky camera during the dramatic scenes was so bad it gave me motion-sickness. Other visuals were pretty nice and OST was fitting.

Overall, this was... empty. Nice to look at but in the end there wasnt enough chemistry to carry the drama /somewhere/.

There is no good or wrong here

I never write reviews but I had to.
This drama was amazing, I was looking for something fresh to watch and I'm glad I found this gem. This drama was: sweet, short and not ridiculous at all. Let me tell you why:

As someone who is on her 20s and have had to break up a long ass 8 years relationship too, I know how does it feel to break up with someone who was not just your partner but also best friend, and I think the way they portrayed the old relationship was not just relatable but also beautiful.

I don't hate Chan Hee at all since he left her behind to pursuit his dreams, he placed himself as a priority, yes, that's selfish but understandable and someone might relate to that. We all do at some point, however, you cannot pretend to come and go from someone else's life just like that, if you said to break up just let her go, man.
Yoon Soo on the other hand was different, he liked her from the beginning - aka reason why they had sex just hours after they've met- however, hiding the truth and lying was wrong. His revenge wasn't silly, he had to overcome gossip and bullying because of Chan Hee, and that's horrible, so his hate was very well grounded. Nevertheless, revenge is never a good answer and since their chemistry was amazing, man you were done from the very first episode.
Finally, In Young, honestly, even I, myself, will try to find a partner if in that way I can get a house, with the economical situation as it is in our world that doesn't sound crazy at all. She was a really well constructed character, not annoying at all, just a woman on her 20s with her pride broken tolerating gossip and an annoying society that was judging her, she was looking for financial stability and one on her 20s can relate to that. Also, she managed gossip in a good way.

Her friend, Hye Go, was for me a bit crazy, sometimes creepy and annoying. Okay, i can understand teenagers falling in and out of love with handsome males all the time at first sight, but a grown woman? come on or maybe it was just me. However, at the very end we get a more mature Hye Go with a lovely relationship and that's awesome.

One more item to keep in mind: Illustrations, as someone who loves drawing this was a plus, I loved each drawing at the end.

I adore this drama, seriously and I will rewatch it for sure.

First Love versus contract husband

Her boyfriend of 8 years dumped her. After 1 year she met a fellow schoolmate at a her friend's party. They hooked up then she started avoiding him. Enter her ex bf back into her world of work. She needed money so she posted her need for a contractual husband, new guy she hooked up with wanted to be the contract husband, then comes the complicated love story. It has a satisfying and happy ending

The supporting stars were not that great with their roles but acceptable enough to create a good drama. Love the 3 main leads

really good for a mini series

First things first, I am writing this review knowing that they did their best with it knowing its a YouTube series. I, like others, feel like the ML & FL's feelings for each other developed way too quickly. I also didn't care about the boy-crazy friend and her story line. I wish they could've used that time to show how the lead's relationship developed. I can tell myself that he began to fall for her because she didn't treat him as his rumor, but treated him like a person. And I can try to convince myself that she fell for him because he was there for her when she was upset.
But regardless of this, I really fell hard for this show during the exhibition when she was looking at the rain painting her ex had done. The one that showed an alternative scene where he chooses to turn around and stay with her. I thought the portrayal of that scene was so beautiful it made me forget all of the drama's flaws.
I love the use of all the art for the scenes because it showed me how they were falling out of love with each other, granted it being mostly on his side. There was a second during that scene where I hoped she would go back to him (mostly due to my own trauma) but I know in the end she made the right choice. They would not have been able to make each other happy anymore. It was simply the sadness of letting 8 years go that hurt the most.
There is still one thing I'm not quite sure about like whether it's true that the ex was the one that started the rumors about the scholarship.
Anyway! I enjoyed this drama for the short 3 hours that it was. Wasn't perfect but nothing is.

As an artist, I loved looking at all the illustrations and how they tied into the story, but I felt like they had so much to work with and ended up focusing so much on the romance storyline. Things like the history between the two guys, the girl's character/schooling, the sismance, their relationships with their parents...were all little things that we got nuggets for and then never really explored again.

The romance storyline was there but it seemed blown a little out of proportion near the end — I felt like they had both used each other. And it just got very repetitive to see the main female lead looking at her ex-boyfriend with hurtful, teary eyes in EVERY episode — I wish they had talked it out in a more mature conversation.

I also really didn't like or care for the second pairing at all — and honestly I was annoyed by the sheer boy-craziness of the friend. I kind of wanted her to not end up with anyone and just realize she should be happy with herself first.

Ending Again (2020) - I saw a clip of this on facebook, and I got curious since I find it cute.

Since it is just a Webdrama, I finished rather quickly on this. The leads are both good looking, I just find the female lead awkward, maybe because of her beauty. I find the acting as well awkward which for me is understandable.

The plot itself is good for me but I think it was not given justice by the characters. They appear too one dimensional.

What I like is the OSTs and the drawings that is seen in the drama. I just hope that they elaborated or had given the characters a deeper character, or maybe the time didn't allow it.

It was an okay watch

This was an extremely short series and, for me, it was kind of middle-of-the-road. The actors did a good job with what they had to work with. Normally, I'm all for less episodes. The dramas tend to be drawn out with tons of filler. In the case of Ending Again, it actually felt too short.
CONCEPT: Contract marriage. This aspect of the show was a good hook for getting the two main leads together.
WRITING: Unfortunately, this is where it went a little wrong for me. I had a hard time with the reasoning for the guy to leave her after eight years of being together. Once the contract marriage was in effect, the main leads got together too quickly and we weren't actually able to see the progression of their feelings for one another. This could have been remedied by leaving out the wasteful man-crazy friend and her relationship issues. Also, the end of every episode showed more of the female lead's back story with the original boyfriend. That would have been good if the show had been longer, but here it actually meant that we had more about the old relationship than the new.
ACTING: The acting was good. I have to say that the female lead was beautiful and she was a lovely crier. I did have a bit of a problem with the male lead and the ex-boyfriend looking so much alike.
MUSIC: I have to say that I don't actually remember any of the music.
REWATCH VALUE: As I was watching this, I realized that I had seen it before and had not remembered it.
OVERALL: It was a cute show that didn't take much time. It was a show to watch between better shows.

I watched this drama on Youtube channel. There are only 6 episode with engsub but its story line, actors and actress made me watched without eng sub. I am not good at giving review but i am that person who loves such a bad boy. The past relationship and throwback of Chanhee and In Young really made me want they to be together. Sometimes, i was Chanhee team and sometimes i was on Yunsu team. Their ost are also good and addictive. I can feel every line of lyrics really related with their story and most importantly, that two songs actually have some meanings. MY TURN song is for Chanhee while Hello is for Yunsu. There are also some funny parts. I always think why dont Chanhee having a LDR with Inyoung?? ahhh. Pleaseeee. i want season 2, where Chanhee found new love.

" Ending Again " was a pretty entertaining web drama.

Not the classic innocent story that Global Playlist usually presents, " Ending Again " had a nice pace romance, with a well developed love triangle. However, in the end, it felt like they left a lot out, like her friend's romance with that suspicious guy, what really happened with the scholarship to Paris, what was that big rumour that ruined the main lead's college life, as pretty much no one talked about it, his friend who was advising him, his motives, as he never actually explained his reasons properly to her, and, well, the ending, oh, and the reasons of her ex's illness and his regret. But, nevertheless, watching it actually made me feel warm and fuzzy. The leading lady had chemistry with both boys, which made it difficult at first to choose one to root for. The best friend was also funny and added some spice to the plot. The performances, finally, were good and the OST great.

So, seven out of ten.

From A Short Romantic Drama into the Penthouse

I hesitated on writing a review on this one because it was like a short romantic novel. However the romantic side of me couldn’t resist. In Young married Yoon Soo to have a place to live, he married her for revenge. Neither of them married for love but both of them found love. That should have been the deciding factor and I was happy to see that love prevailed. I sure didn’t feel sorry for Chan Hee. Some mistakes you can never come back from.

I think Jo Soo Min did an excellent job. You can tell she has plenty of acting experience. She is good at displaying emotions and seems to float through the difficult emotional scenes. When it came to the kissing and touching parts she seemed a little awkward. As I’ve said so many times, romance, aka romantic chemistry, is sealed with a kiss. She needs to learn that it’s ok to move your lips when you kiss. Her future is wide open as she steps into the Penthouse…

This is a cute, easy to watch drama give it a try.
