Cute, wished it was a little longer
Going into this drama I just figured I would watch it as a filler, I like the theme of contractual marriage so I thought I would try this one. I did enjoy the drama it was cute. I liked the characters, the story revolves around a girl who as in a relationship for 8 years and her boyfriend breaks up with her to go abroad, a year later she has an issue with her apartment and has to try and get a loan and the only way to get one was to get married, so she has a contractual marriage to another guy. She interns at an art gallery where her old boyfriend has returned and is going to have an art Exhibit that she now has to help coordinate.I liked the drama it was cute and went so fast and I did like the story line and the characters but here is were the spoilers come in. I felt like it should of been longer because each episode covered more of her past with her ex and the years they were together instead of her new relationship in the contractual marriage. I just wished it was longer that they would of concentrated on that more. With seeing all of the flashbacks it seems like they had a good relationship and other then him going abroad I wasn't sure why he was breaking up with her , towards the end of their relationship it looked like it was starting to go bad but from the flashbacks your not sure, why and what happened. What happens now that he is back in her life will they get back together, or will she stay in the contractual marriage. Who does she end up with? You would have to watch to find out!

web-series with matured story but fluffy story
so I had always come across cute, fluffy romcom web series but this one turned out to be out of the box.STORY
series started with breakup and then FL has one night stand. the story follows with contract marriage and return of the ex-boyfriend.
In Young has broken up with her boyfriend after 8 years of relationship of a school sweethearts. she then gets cheated of renting apartment. she then have a contract marriage with Yoon Soo, whom she had a one night stand, to benefit a housing loan. she takes up an internship job at an art gallery, where her Ex Chan Hee paintings are to be displayed.
EX has come back after one year staying abroad, he tries to rekindle his relationship only to find that she is married.
twist is that there lies a secret between Chan Hee and Yoon Soo.
PLOT VIEW
the story is view from FL eyes and due to sudden time shifts in first episode, it was confusing as there is just the glimpse of the breakup. until the later episodes where full scene was there. the story is pretty matured with few matured scenes, inspite of that the series is decent with a fluffy feel. i felt that there is very less conversation between the leads, as we all know communication is a key to happy relationships. it had that webtoon feel since its adapted from webtoon.
ACTING/ CAST
the acting was good of the FL Jo SooMin as Cha InYoung. she had a good spark of expressions.
Kim GunWon as Do YoonSoo was little bland, h need to play cold and lonely person but it wasnt felt.
Kang Hui as Yoo ChanHee was vey bland and and flat with same expression until the last. i didn't like his expression when he as planning a betrayal.
MUSIC
it was well balanced and incorporated with scenes nicely.
REWATCH
It can be rewatched, for its a mini series with strong but decent content.
APPRECIATION
I really like the paintings at the end of each episode, which were representation of chan hee and in young relationship.

CONCEPT: Contract marriage. This aspect of the show was a good hook for getting the two main leads together.
WRITING: Unfortunately, this is where it went a little wrong for me. I had a hard time with the reasoning for the guy to leave her after eight years of being together. Once the contract marriage was in effect, the main leads got together too quickly and we weren't actually able to see the progression of their feelings for one another. This could have been remedied by leaving out the wasteful man-crazy friend and her relationship issues. Also, the end of every episode showed more of the female lead's back story with the original boyfriend. That would have been good if the show had been longer, but here it actually meant that we had more about the old relationship than the new.
ACTING: The acting was good. I have to say that the female lead was beautiful and she was a lovely crier. I did have a bit of a problem with the male lead and the ex-boyfriend looking so much alike.
MUSIC: I have to say that I don't actually remember any of the music.
REWATCH VALUE: As I was watching this, I realized that I had seen it before and had not remembered it.
OVERALL: It was a cute show that didn't take much time. It was a show to watch between better shows.

I started this drama just trying to kill some time before I finished another tv series I'm watching. And it wasn't good but it also wasn't bad. It's one of those dramas that won't stick with you forever, but it was entertaining and addicting to watch while it lasted. What I liked the most about this drama were the flashbacks of the relationship between In Young and Chan Hee, I thought they did an amazing job capturing how they started dating and then slowly distanced themselves and the art that was a snapshot of those moments. I knew it'd be used and I was a little sad and wistful when I saw the rain scene. I do love the pining and angst of ex-lovers and second chances, so I enjoyed that. Though I do admit that in this case I didn't want them back together because he was a huge asshole to her before-during and after his absence. Before: they were distancing themselves and he'd treat her coldly and ignore her, the way he ended up things and said he was more important than her was unnecesary hurtful: he could've just said he didn't want to let go of that opportunity. During: he never tried to fix things. After: he actually tried to insert himself back on her life as if nothing had happened and became more insistent when he saw her being happy with somebody else, to the point he even suggested they get married right away. The drawing of them not breaking up and kissing under the rain was his "big gesture" and he even kept the drawing of them being married and said it's something he'd been working the year he was abroad,which... in his mind is supposed to fix it all.
And, even though I've said all of this about him, the other romantic interest was even worse. He's childish, manipulative and emotionally constipated. I also didn't feel the drama spent much time with scenes of them developing real feelings for each other, we're just told than they did. The only times I saw cute scenes of them were during the flashbacks on the 11th episode. I also thought the female mc forgave him way too quickly.
My ideal endgame would've been her leaving those two assholes behing and becoming the badass art curator she could become.

Just "meh"...that's it...
Not much here...at all. The acting wasn't spectacular. They didn't give us enough to invest or care about the ending. It was "meh". Gave it a 5.5 only because it deals with my favourite trope - contract marriage...but it really didn't do much for me. This is unusual for me. I'm a sucker for the storyline, but the love just didn't feel developed...and I particularly didn't see any affection coming from her at all so when she professes love it comes from out of nowhere.I know it was short, but they didn't develop anything so I couldn't care much about this at all.

I mean the twist of the story kept me out of track because there were some dragging scenes.
I really hope to see more of the ML's future dramas. I think he's a good actor. I really loved his portrayal here of being a cold young man.
Also, the female lead knows how to act. I liked the way she cried in the drama.
This drama took only 3 hours plus but sad to say the delivery of the story was a mess( it's just my point of view✌?).
I hope to watch more of web dramas that are worth my time.
Wait...this drama has real kiss(whhaaaat??????).
Well, if you are curious, then you watch it yourself. Aja!?

Cute, short, and sweet
Cute, short, and sweet. I'm a huge fan of the forced cohabitation trope, and I wasn't let down with this. The timeline was a bit confusing at times, especially with all of the flashbacks, so it was hard keeping track of what happened when (they did provide dates for the flashbacks but it was still a bit confusing). The acting was good -- not amazing, but honestly I didn't see any flaws, and the FL's emotions really got me. I was very satisfied with the ending -- I felt it was realistic and left me feeling happy. Was this review helpful to you?
Love triangle (again) between a woman and a selfish and awful man and a good man who's being selfish
It is short and good to watch.STORY - the story revolves around 3 plus one characters.
1 - Student and Intern Chan In Young, who was left by her boyfriend Yoo Chan Hee, after dating 8 years, works in a Art Gallery (or museum?)
She struggles with rent money and find that the only solution is to take advantage of “Newlyweds jeonse loan”, a governmental financial support for newly married couples to help her rent an house. Therefore, she tries to find a man to marry.
2 - Yoon Soon, who had encounter In Young a few times (the first one was a one-night stand!), agrees to have a contract marriage. He has a bad reputation due to false accusations that stopped him for getting an Art scholarship to Paris - France. In the beginning, Yoon Soon purpose is to take revenge of the man that spread the false rumours, In Young ex-bf, but he starts to have feelings for his “fake wife”. One of the clauses is that they cannot fall in love, but the relationship starts to get messy.
3 - Yoo Chan Hee arrives from France. He falsely accused Yoon Soon so he could steal Yoon Soon’s scholarship. In the process, he broke up with In Young saying he will study abroad and that he likes him more than he likes her.
In Young has to prepare an exhibition for an artist that she likes and is surprised when discovers that it is her ex-bf. He says that wants to go back to her and lies telling that he regrets the choice of leaving her (only after he succeeds he returns and that is not regret!).
Moreover, there is Chan In Young’s best friend Hye Go, who appears to fall in love for every living male. One of them will like her?… or let’s chase cats!!
ACTING – I like some of the acting. The characters were not very complex, so they did not shine.
MUSIC – did not pay much attention, so I will pass.
REWATCH – I will not do it, because there are so many shows to watch and I already know the outcome.
OVERALL - I read some reviews that cannot understand. I hope that these people will not find reasonable to have the same behaviour as Chan Hee.
It is ok to pursue our dreams, but it is not ok to spread false rumours and steal from others their dreams. He lied saying that he regrets leaving her (not the scholarship, though). If he did, he should have returned sooner and not after his objective was accomplish. In addition, he should show that regret to Yoon Soon.
It is a short and fast-paced drama about contract marriage, even that is not very develop in the story.

Was this review helpful to you?
