Honestly, I thought that was a bit much at the end. What, just because Eun Hee had a falling out with Eun Joo, Eun Joo decided on her own to get a divorce, their parents are excommunicating them? I understand why they're upset at maknae, but even then, they clearly haven't learned anything since they don't actually sit him down and confront him about what's been eating them alive. Why don't they directly ask him, "Did you really hate us that much that you ran away?" Instead, they make these vague, accusatory remarks and then just kick them all out. I'm pretty disappointed since I had thought this family had learned something and moved forward. Also, yes, the parents worked really hard to raise their kids, but at the end of the day, what sort of household did they set up for their kids to come back to? A silent house thick with tension and anger built up over years' worth of miscommunications and misunderstandings where their parents couldn't stand the sight of each other and which only livened up when there was a blowout fight or the parents told each other to go die so they could collect the insurance money. Of course kids would want to escape from that, no matter how much love you think you're giving them or how hard you worked to raise them! Now I'm as disappointed with maknae as the next person is, but not only do they not ask him about what happened or ask if he's ok, but they also have zero self awareness and decide that his and his sisters' "betrayal" is worth kicking them out of their lives. This could very well be another red herring, but if so, it's not really to my taste. We have enough ground to cover in our final episode with Eun Joo starting a new business and finding her birth father, Eun Hee figuring out what to do once her contract ends and getting into her relationship with Chan Hyuk, Ji Woo getting back on his feet and deciding what to do with his life and probably dating Seo Young, and the parents figuring out all their shit and what's going to happen moving forward, without having to deal with a fallout between parents and children on top if it all.
