Waste of good casts
As there was nothing that interesting on-going , I decided to watch it since it's on Netflix. I do like Go Ara and a few other of the casts, so I thought it'll probably be an ok drama. First of all, the storyline is extremely predictable, which is fine. However, the last 2 episodes was really the killer. It is so unbelievably cliche and you could almost fast forward to the last 5 minutes of the drama and feel like you did not miss anything. In fact, throughout the whole drama, there were many parts that I actually fast forward as it was so ridiculous and redundant.Was this review helpful to you?

That Ending
This started as a nice, easy going and light- hearted series but I am in shock with how bad the ending was. I was enjoying the story leading up to the last few episodes, that is where is all fell apart. I would love to know what the writers were thinking?? I think they may have been going for shock factor but they did not execute it well in the slightest. They also left many unanswered questions, not questions that are season 2 worthy, just bad writing. It is unfortunate they did that because it was a sweet story.Was this review helpful to you?

The story is really crap, what a disgrace ! I watched a sad movie about dying .........”90 Days to Love” what a great drama....love it.
This one, I should have figured from the title (sigh).......the writer is no good.

Fluffy then turned makjang for no reason
Did the writer and director or whoever is in-charge of this series fight on the finale episode?I was so ready to give this one an 8.5 for all the heartwarming and fluff and fun and cuteness it gave me each week. I want to give this a 5.0 for that finale alone. How can they suddenly decide to make Jun NOT dead in the literal last five minutes of the finale and we're just supposed to take that like that's okay and they live happily ever after? Of course I would've preferred a happy ending coz this is a typical romcom but to do it this way is dumb.
Now as I said this was an 8.5 for me if it was not for the finale because I really like how this gave me a fluffy and heartwarming feeling each week. I have grown to love the Eunpo people and I feel like I also belong in there with them. They feel like a family and I'm so happy watching that every week. Jun and Rara (before the makjang happened) was really cute together too. I didn't even mind the age gap because I didn't think there was a power imbalance in their dynamic.
This was enjoyable every week but it crashed and burned. The still high rating is for me to commemorate that I did like this show I if pretend that the finale was Jun appeared in that Christmas concert and did a piano duet with Rara. The end.

First episode is so so, but second episode so good and soooo funny. Lee Jaewook is so handsome. You got rich guy disguising as a poor man lead, cinderella (kind of female lead), tsundere male lead (cold but heart warming guy). It’s that type of korean drama that makes you want to be the female lead lollll. Although the first episode is kind of doesn’t make sense and confusing but the second episode is good.... seriously rooting for this kdramaFirst episode is so so, but second episode so good and soooo funny. Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol - Boring
Okay. I think this is just me but I'm not a fan of dramas with main leads playing instruments or just a drama related to music because I'm not too educated on it. I've only played the violin and enjoy dramas about violins but anything else isn't my preference. BUT! the problem was not the instrument side plot. I just felt bored while watching the episodes, I could say it was a waste of time. I only started watching this because Jaewook is playing in it and he's my favorite actor but the plot wasn't of my liking. Love, at first sight, is boring to me, and don't find any kind of enjoyment through that. I normally like the character falling for someone through personality than looks. The acting was good, no problem with that at all but the plot and relationship development are just basic to me.Was this review helpful to you?

Personal dislikes
I was really looking forward to this drama. All is well and sweet and it has a potential for a great rom com. I really like the ML and was waiting for him being first lead.The only problem are my personal preferences. I can not root for a so called innocent and dumb FL. Completely dependent on the ML and made a fool by every human that crosses her path.
I am also not a fan of love at first sight. I will allow that one can feel a strong attraction to the other person due to their looks. But one falls in love gradually with the whole person. Generally if the personality is awful, I fail to see the love thriving .
I really hope there is a rapid and very strong character growth for the FL. May update the review later, depending on how the story progresses.

Boring. Horrible acting from lead female
1st and 2nd lead actors tried their best with well delivered acting. Plot is stupid do far. Would be believable if the main actress could act. And makeup in car accident is amateur. Couldn't make it through 2nd episode. H. O. R. R. I. Perdi meu tempo.
Esse é um dos dramas da temporada que eu estava mais animada pra assistir, agora nem sei porque perdi meu tempo cheando até o episódio 16, a primeira metade do drama indicava que seria um dos melhroes da temporada, depois foi só ladeira abaixo.Eu geralmente gosto de um bom clichê e não vejo mal num drama com muitos clichês juntos mas esse exagerou e não soube usar bem nenhum dos plots. Teve de stalker a noona romance, a família impedindo o relacionamento a doença terminal.
O noona romance ia ser legal se ele fosse de maior ou se a passagem de tempo ocorresse antes, ao invés disso, mostraram a idade real dele depois que o casal já estava praticamente junto, sem falar nessa ex namorada que chega do nada perto do fim, e essa doença pra separar o casal e ainda esse plot do ultimo episódio que só se resolve nos ultimos minutos onde ele mostra absolutamente zero consideração de verdade pela RaRa e pelo pessoal do bairro.
Dito isso, o elenco é bom e soube atuar bem até com um roteiro desses, a trilha sonora do drama também foi boa e esperava pelo menos isso de um drama focado em música....

Se não fossem os atores, nos dois últimos episódios eu ia achar que estava assistindo outro drama
Não entendi a roteirista nos últimos episódios. Ela tinha uma história legal que vinha sendo construída por doze capítulos e depois abandonou tudo e criou vários plots desnecessários no drama. Até aqui eu perfoaria, mas o pior foi que ela não resolveu ou resolveu de forma corrida, tudo que ela jogou em cima dos personagens.O que me cativou inicialmente em Melodia da Esperança foi a forma como os personagens eram leves e como eles sempre enfrentavam as fatalidades da vida de forma positiva. Mais que isso, ali na pequena cidade de Eunpo, a união fazia a força e um ajudava o outro naquele clima de boa vizinhança que a gente ama. O casal protagonista era interessante e o secundário super divertido! Enfim, não teve como não torcer pra todo mundo terminar bem e feliz.
Maaaaas da segunda metade do drama pra frente, alguns acontecimentos desastrosos começaram a aparecer. Teve ex namorada, casamento fake, "vamos terminar pq quero te proteger", doença terminal e no fim até uma revelação que fez ZERO sentido.
Pensei que tava vendo outro drama, inclusive.
Vou guardar as partes positivas do drama no meu coração porque ele me fez rir muito e refletir sobre a importância de valorizar quem amamos em nossa vida. O resto, vou fingir que não vi para não passar raiva.

Começo incrível final desastroso
O plot de Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol a princípio não chamou muito a minha atenção, mas o elenco desse drama contém diversos atores que eu gosto muito e por isso decidi dar uma chance. Os primeiros episódios foram muito bons e eu estava amando a atmosfera fofa e engraçada da história.A Rara é uma personagem extremamente cativante e otimista e eu amava ver as loucuras dela e as interações que ela tinha com o Jun.
Eu estava amando o casal Jun e Rara, mas achei o plot dele ainda estar no ensino médio, um pouco sem sentido, mas até então a história continuava muito boa.
No entanto após o episódio 10 a história começou a ficar cada vez mais enrolada, parecia que a autora não tinha mais o que colocar no roteiro e por isso resolveu encher o drama com plots desnecessários e clichês, o que é uma pena, pois eu adoraria ver um pouco mais do desenvolvimento dos personagens, invés de tramas chatas e repetitivas que se repetem em todos os doramas.
(SPOILER DOS DOIS ÚLTIMOS EPISÓDIOS)
Agora o que estragou de vez o roteiro para mim, foram esses últimos episódios. A autora de repente decidiu colocar que o Jun iria ter leucemia, e essa situação foi tão jogada e sem sentido e invés dele desenvolver melhor os personagens no último episódio do dorama ela resolveu ´´matar`` o personagem principal e deixar todos os outros personagens de luto. Mas até aí tudo bem, o pior foi ela colocar o Jun para reaparecer 5 anos depois, e o pior, ele aparece para a Rara como se nada tivesse acontecido, mas já tinham se passado 5 ANOS, e ela achava que ele estava MORTO. Sem contar que quando ela estava chorando ele ainda fica rindo da cara dela, como se tivesse tudo bem uma pessoa desaparecer por 5 anos, falar que morreu e depois aparecer na porta da sua casa como se nada tivesse acontecido.
O pior é que ele ainda dá a desculpa de que não queria ver ela sofrer kkkkk, é rir para não chorar. Sério eu fiquei com tanto ódio dele nessa cena, sem contar que o Senhor Kim morreu e nem viu o Jun uma última vez.
Achei esse final péssimo e a única coisa que salvou esse final, foi o casal secundário, que além de serem muito fofos, tiveram um final satisfatório.
