Love in the Air: Sky is way better than Love in the Air:Rain!!
So I thought Love in the Air would tell the story of two couples like Cutie Pie did. Instead, it was two separate shows!Love in the Air: Rain was epis 1-7 and Love in the Air: Sky was 7-13. LET ME TELL YOU LOVE IN THE AIR: SKY IS 10 MILLIONS TIMES BETTER THAN RAIN'S STORY!!
Like honestly the shows are sooo different like two different directors, production teams, sound tracks, writers! I am so glad I suffered through the idiocy that is Rain to get to Sky! I loved him at first and then when you learn more about him the love increases exponentially!!

This show is absolutely phenomenal.
There are no word for how incredible this series was. I've been watching BL for 10+ years and I must say this is in my top 5. The storyline was something else. The acting was perfect. Settings location and music just really brought life to the show. This will go down in bl history for the NC scenes, not to mention how well the cast gets along. I will follow the director as well his work was ace.If you are debating whether to watch or not there is no doubt that you will fall in love with this series. I wish I could start over. But hey I'll settle for a re watch.
see you for the upcoming special ep.

BEAUTIFUL
OK so first let's get the boring stuff out the way...yeah for some reason there's some sound quality issues in the 2nd half but it's nothing major.
also like yeah I guess u can say there's some toxic stuff in it but not really. I mean compared to most BL definitely not and to me like it's a romance drama so obviously there's got to be something causing the drama which doesn't happen if everyone is perfect.
Now onto the many good points
the cast is BEAUTIFUL HOLY HELL they're all gorgeous and their acting is really good alongside it. I fell in love with all the main leads and their characters.
the story I think is good! there's drama, there's a tiny touch of action, lots of cuteness and some humour
the NC scenes are divine!!! some of the best around for sure
I think a lot of the visuals are really beautiful
overall I really liked this, for me it was a brilliant balance of drama, cuteness, hotness, humour and seriousness. I found the ending for both couples super healing and lovely. I'd definitely watch more if it was there!
hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Wasn’t interested at first….
I was not interested in the show at first, but I was looking for something that could occupy my time because I’m agonizing over other shows currently airing that I have to wait for new episodes. This did what I needed it to do. It filled the time. The script and the dialogue is weak. I actually cringed while watching. At some point Rain says to Phayu, you are happy being around Bikes? Then says something on the lines of im happy riding you. EHHHHHHHHHHHHH LOL. But you know what. This happens and I’ll deal with it. I’m not expecting much.
While it’s fun seeing Phayu and Rain infatuated with each other and play this game to seduce each other there wasn’t enough time developing the complexities of these two characters beyond sex.
Their relationship is not without problems. Rain clearly felt uncomfortable with Phayu in the beginning of the drama with his closeness and touching. Even if Phayu misunderstood Rain’s signals, he shouldn’t have pushed. Even if Rain was intrigued, he was confused and uncomfortable with what was happening. There wasn’t consent. What confused me is that Rain was afraid to sleep in the same room as Phayu in case he did something. He’s afraid to sleep on the couch in the same room yet when he thinks Phayu is asleep he crawls into bed with him?
But as you watch more, you can clearly see early on that this is a dom/sub dynamic. The dom (Phayu) communicates his rules. He wants respect and he doesn’t like vulgar language and he wants Rain (sub) to be a good boy. He doesn’t answer until Rain speaks to him with respect. He’ll punish Rain (spanking as an example). He’ll reward him as well. He allows Rain to leave the bathroom and out of his grasp as long as he asks politely and refers to him as P’Phayu. There is possessiveness here and power play.
Unless it changes again for the worse, it gets better? Question mark? (only up to episode 6). It gets better when they are on the same page and become boyfriends. Phayu asks Rain if they can go farther when grabbing protection. I’m glad protection is shown here. Rain made an effort to show Phayu that he’s serious about their relationship and in return Phayu proclaims that he’ll reciprocate. It’s nice to see effort is made on both ends. Phayu comforts Rain but also expects him to be an adult and face challenges with his studies and his responsibilities. He makes it a point to tell Rain that he needs to learn how to balance his studies with a relationship. It’s refreshing to see that because Phayu doesn’t want Rain to sacrifice his aspirations for the relationship. But that doesn’t mean the relationship gets shoved to the side as they both make efforts to make the relationship work. They both know how to say sorry to each other.
Anyway judging by the first 6 episodes it’s an enjoyable watch for me. It has its issues. But, it’s simple, light, and mindless.
Update: Finished watching the series.
The lack of development I was missing from Phayu and Rain’s story wasn’t an issue with Pai and Sky. There is so much to their story that I found them more compelling. As a trigger warning, there is rape and abuse portrayed here. It was very difficult to watch Sky reliving trauma he’s experienced. I get why Pai asked Sky to cry. It must’ve been scary to see Sky becoming numb to the situation and despondent. Crying at least would’ve been a way for him to release his emotions. Seeing Pai become someone that Sky could trust made me feel happy for Sky. Considering their first encounter was a one night stand, I like where their relationship went and their plot line is actually what made me keep going with the series.

The Storyline is Weaker than the Production of the Film
Disclaimer, I fall in love with the vibes and cast.even though I've only watched 10 episodes, but there are several points that I will explain:
THE STRENGTH:
1. The film setting is made as close to reality as possible. As Architecture student I related very much. Every lecture scene, architectural assignment to the property is very detailed and relevant. And then, I really like how the workshop scene and the race track are very lively.
2. Amazing (takes) shooting and editing
3. Promising actor, their visual are so great. Sky is the best in terms of acting. his minor expressions are real and not contrived.
THE WEAKNESS:
1. The story line is too simple and lacks new breakthroughs, Just MID. I don't understand why Payu falling in love in the rain scene (earlier episode) How it works? for me it's too random. And I think the kidnapping scene feels in contrast to the whole story line, like jumping too far.
Prapai character is too common: rich, eldest brother, fancy clothes, ask his secretary to delay all the meeting. COMMON.
2. Unnatural voice call effect that hard to listen
MY DEEPEST OPINION: SKY-PRAPAI > RAIN-PAYU (Story)
I actually prefer the story line and acting style of Sky and Prapai. There is a little bit strong element to their relationship, at least not as overwhelming as Payu-Rain story . And Prapai's voice reminds me of Bright from Together the series. What a Handsome voice.
Yah.. 7,5 for me at all.

What a breath of fresh air
There are no-doubt small minded people who feel love, and especially bl, should only be about holding hand an accidental touching. But love can be challenging, dangerous, adventurous and and out of our control. This Bl has boldly taken it upon itself to show this different angle and play with our emotions while watching the unconventional. It does so without letting go of humor and its easy going vibe.Even as a love story it is above average but I sincerely hope they manage to find a way to make both characters aware of the divers aspects of love in an empowered way. The amazing chemistry between the main actors and the convincing way they portrait the characters would then definitely make this bl one to remember for many years.

yet another bl with lack of consent...
I pondered giving the drama a chance because of the secondary couple, but honestly the main "storyline" is impossible to ignore. Even if Rain did it on purpose to get close to Payu or whatever spoilers I've seen from novel readers, the constant "no"s and pushing away from Rain that Payu ignored... It's absolutely insane how people will try to find excuses for this kind of thing, but not surprising since it's the same target audience as "tharntype". Absolutely terrible, lack of an actual plot and just s*x. The target audience is no other than straight cis women. Was this review helpful to you?
Perfect depiction of sexual abuse... by the main characters.
Sadly, Rain and Prayu's relationship is based on full-on sexual assault. Rain says no, and Prayu keeps going. Rain says no over and over again. Prayu approaches him over and over again. When someone holds something over your head to make you do something, that is force. When Prayu is in the bathroom and he makes Rain say sweet things to him by threatening him with the others finding out, that’s forcing Rain to do something without his consent. Him running his hands up and down Rain’s body until Rain stops fighting? That is 110% assault. If someone says no, it’s no, if someone holds something over your head until you say yes, that’s still not consent = that’s still a no. If someone runs their hands up and down your body until you stop pushing them away, that is still not consent. Imagine this was your brother. If you’re watching your brother get pinned up against the wall by someone to who he owes money, and they run their hands (and pretty much their mouth) up and down his body while your brother pushes them away, saying no over and over again, would you cheer when your brother gives up? And would you like to see the person manipulating your brother start dating him? Your heart would break for him. I’ve seen friends experience this, and one of them currently has an ex-husband in jail for sexual assault and possession of illegal firearms. And she met him at a drag race (Coincidentally)Was this review helpful to you?
Till Now.......
This story is divided into 2 parts as per my guess first half episodes are concentrated on one couple and 2nd half of another couple, I like this way as it concentrates on both couples without overpowering each other, and screen timing issues won't arise.Phayu is really a good senior who guides his juniors in the right direction, you can see he is guiding his partner to concentrate on both his studies and relationship and also teaches the importance of student duty, I like how he portrayed if necessary you need to give importance to your studies more than your feelings and how he was there in the entire journey supporting him
Rain improved much more after Phayu came into his life, both love each other, and both compromised for each other that's how the relationship works. There is no perfect couple as people say, a couple is happy because they love each other, respect each other, and consider each other whenever anything arises most of all communicate with each other.
It is also not true that few couples understand just by looking at each other NO no one can do that, no one has mind reading capability
This story has a lot to tell, don't be shy on expressing your feelings, not only to your partner, to your parents, your friends etc....
Note: I will edit it after watching the second couple and what story they are going to share with us

Review for: Payu and Rain arc
Oh my god! Love In The Air: Payu and Rain is the bitch. They ran and pushed forth as one of my favourite bls for this year. I was originally going to wait until Nov to watch this series in a binge way. But one of my friends said that the first main couple's story was done now. So I decided to watch it right away. To be frank, I only started watching this show yesterday and I finished Payu and Rain's plot already, which were episodes 1-7. The reason I put the 9 on the story segment is because I feel like yea there are parts that don't make sense especially in episode 7. If you know, you know ahahah. Anyway, that part didn’t really bother me too much, I kinda skip my way away from what happened. So yes, in a way I kinda did shut off my brain regarding certain part of the plot. I guess the reason why some of the plot holes didn't bother me too much is because of how great the actors are in this series. If I am being honest, if the casts were only giving 'mid' tier or poor acting, I would have probably dropped this series just purely based on the plot. BUT since the casts carried the show and I just want to say how excellent the chemistry is between Payu and Rain.
In terms of their relationship, this might be one of Mame's least toxic unhealthy legal-friendly relationship that she has written. To be honest, I tend to avoid any dramas that she is involved just because of how unhealthy and how uncomfortable I felt in her other dramas I gave a shot. In which, I ultimately dropped. I don't know I just can't tolerate cheating and really pushy behaviours. However, for this one, Mame did a pretty good job in keeping Payu&Rain's relationship healthier.
I am so excited for Sky's arc to unfold so I will be back on Nov-ish... unless I get busy with other things. Anyways, until then soldiers!

I really like it! ...until episode 7
I only watched the first 7 episodes because I was warned off of the rest of the series for some pretty serious reasons. The beginning of this couple's romance was sus as hell on both sides, but I feel they eventually met in the middle in a gay parlay. I will NOT be watching the entirety of this series, so it is complete to me. (which is why the highest I feel I can score is a 7. it would be higher as a consensual red flag romance if these first 7 episodes were standalone.)Was this review helpful to you?

In my opinion one of the worst bl I have seen
In my opinion this is one of the worst bl I have ever seen...The story is very bad and the acting is not very good, expect when they make love😭
The story and acting made my head boil because I cant stand childish adults who acts like they are lil kids who complains about everything and acts stupid.
I see Rain like one of those adults..
I like the main couple's chemistry if there is even any other couples!
But still I think Rain acts like little child who cant do anything without his lover...
I have seen so much better series so this didn't hit me °3°
I think lita is one of those series that you love OR hate
