Very satisfying ??
The story is quite smooth(no betrayel, jealousy). Loveable ml and fl. Ml is quite fun fl is admirable and a good actress. My favourite part is animation and music top notch (i have neither seen an animation not heard a music as great as it is in this drama in any other drama).the heroine is known to be a harbinger of calamity and lockdown in the palace quite a pitiful past but has a caring sis and ml she can rely on. Prince of the beast realm and Princess of the heavenly realm are a cute ? couple. There outfits and jewellery are good. Heroine aims to become no.1 devil in the void but fall in love empyrean xuanshang after their sedans are swapped. I love it ❤️.Was this review helpful to you?
Hugely Underrated
I stumbled upon this drama while looking for something to watch, and after finishing this series, I can safely say this is such a hugely underrated series. Everything from the production (the sets and costumes are beautiful and everything just looks high budget), to the the acting (no wooden acting to be found anywhere!! a miracle!!), to the story (perfect mix of cry-my-eyes-out story and cry-my-eyes-out hilarity), to the music (THE AMAZING OST!!! caught in my feelings every time it played) was SO good. The best part of this series to me to be honest, wasn't even the romance, but the friendships, the familial love, and the theme of found family. The two sisters are just genuinely so supportive and loving towards each other despite how differently the two of them grew up, and every one of the friendships they've developed over the course of the series just felt so heartwarming. I usually have at least one or two "good" characters that I don't like and straight up find annoying, but I honestly, genuinely loved all the side characters. A special shoutout goes to Emperor Tun who I thought I would hate but actually became one of my favourite characters.
Easily one of the best dramas of the year so far for me, would definitely recommend a watch.

Love this drama.
I enjoy and recommend this drama. Its very fun and beautiful plot story. There are lot of emotional scene.
Eventhough the story goes fast and sometimes feel weird because they erase some of the story line, but its still okey because the act and graphis is SUPER GOOD.
There are lot of nice and amazing graphis, so we feel it is real place.
The actors and actress play SUPER GOOD and make a beautiful memorize by their act.
I'm amazed by Chen Xing Xu's and Li Landy Act. They are so professional. They should be play together again.
Once again...its very recommended drama.

Very good XianXia romance comedy[at least for most of drama]
quite emotional piece. Almost whole time this drama focuses on comedy based on relations between characters. Its funny and sometimes cute by the end it can make you cry too. Maybe cause for whole time characters made lightened your mood and made you smile it will chock you more if something tragic happen.plot - exist 4 realms human, immortals, demons, beastmen. 2 princesses from human realm was betrothed for peace treaty - one to immortals[2FL gentle, kind older princess], one to demons[1FL smart, cunning, rebellious younger sister].
Thanks coincidence two sisters will exchange places and ends up with different husbands than they was engaged to.
genre - historical, comedy, romance, Xianxia

LOVED Starry Love <3
Starry Love was a very fun watch for me. It had a lot of great comedy which isn't really characteristic of most xianxias I've seen, but I really enjoyed this show and couldn't wait to see the next episodes. It hooked my interest from the very first episode and featured a strong non-cutesy FL which was a welcome difference from Ashes of Love's Jinmi or Love Between Fairy and Devil's Xiao Lanhua (both shows I loved, by the way, and gave 10s with my xianxia loving heart).I loved our main couple, Yetan and Youqin, and the show gives them plenty of chances to fall in love. I initially wasn't a big fan of our second couple and the second ML, but they grew on me. Qingkui, being the "good sister" also demonstrates her strengths and is not a damsel in distress. So both FLs were strong, in my opinion. The supporting cast of characters was also great - especially Wudai.
The CGI was well done - very beautifully drawn skies. I am loving the OST - Liu Yining, Sa Ding Ding, and Mao Buyi.
The only reason why I'm giving this show a 9.5/10 instead of a 10 is because I feel there were some loose ends in the latter half. I feel like if the show were actually longer than 40 episodes, it would've helped to give more time to round out the ending arc of the story.
I am hoping the netizens will get us a special episode follow-up because I needed more. :<
I really loved Starry Love - it got me to laugh, smile, and also cry. I highly recommend this if you like xianxia.

Great drama
I loved this soo much. This dramas is just sweet and the romance is cute. They have great chemistry and it's quite chaotic and a roller coaster of emotions but totally worth it . I would definitely like to re-watch and I recommend. No weren't many devastating plot twists as well even tho I was sometimes disappointed. But in the end you will be touched. Also it's just a little different from other types of dramas I've watched and I also love it for that. at this point i don't know what else to say except "WATCH IT NOW"Was this review helpful to you?
The greatest gift of all: LOVE
This is a story of all kinds of love seen in the world:1. A love of a sister
2. A love of a friend
3. A love of a father
4. A love for another soul
5. A love to mankind
A heroine that was born as a jinx to mortal, supposed to be crown princess to the darkness, an empyrean consort of immortal, a crux to all 4 realms, and a reincarnation as one of the twin flowers of ganoderma of vein. Yetan suffered, schemed, defied and sacrificed all she got with her sister yet both lived a few years of mortal life.
Her sister, her companion since birth, her partner and her pillar of support: Qingkui, the better half, sister and a friend. She showed Yetan that humanity is worth dying for - to love, to forgive and to sacrifice happiness for duty and for peace of all 4 realms.
Two sisters - two life intertwined and destined for greater prophecy.
If you like to watch a series - full 40 episodes with 45 minutes screen time each and asked if it’s worth it.
If you like the hero ready to sacrifice the world for the heroine.
If you like the heroine who was initially thought to be bad but wholeheartedly sacrificed herself for others.
If you like sister-love and all family angst, problems with their father.
And, if you like to cry buckets of tears starting episode 30-40. (Each scene of redemption, sacrifices, the prophecy and vengeance gave me an itch until I finished the series)
This is your story, your series. For they not only portray the perfect role, I also saw their development as actors and their characters as well.
“This life was given to me by Ye Tan. I will live for her for the rest of my life. If the four realms accept her, then so be it. But if they don’t, I will take on the entire world.” - Youqin

A drama that is on its own league among other xianxias
This is unlike your typical xianxia dramas in recent years. The Starry Love challenged several stereotypes and serving a very fresh package of plot, world bulding, story telling, acting, and production. Trully a leage of its own. I don't think we will get yet another drama like this in the next 5 years. The beautiful things about this drama:
- sisterhood & relationship
- charming characters (leads and supportings) who are genuinely feels like real life characters and not just 2 dimensional plot tools
- charming stories
- COMEDY!
- right amount of angst that serve purpose!
Totally a gem!

One of the best fantasy chinese drama!
With so many fantasy chinese dramas to watch nowadays, it is expected that the plot of these dramas tends to have similarities and thus end up repetitive. However, starry love managed to stand out from the rest. It's no wonder that this drama is currently loved by many despite not having what you considered "traffic actors". I am very happy for the cast because they deserved the recognition that they're getting right now. This is actually the first time that I equally love the main couple and the secondary couple. Because in other dramas, I tend to skip a lot of scenes of other couples and was just interested in the main couple. However, this drama made me love the second couple as much as I love the main couple. I also like how the story doesn't follow the usual tropes of chinese dramas that annoyed me. The story revolves around the sisters, and I thought at first there will come a point where there will be betrayals happening because that's how the usual tropes go. But this drama portrays the definition of true sisterhood. They love and care for each other and would sacrifice their own happiness for the other. Their husbands also are the standard because they communicate so well with each other and are willing to compromise for the sake of their wives. Speaking of the male lead, I love how he is so clingy like a puppy to the female lead. Instead of hurting his partner to face his responsibilities, he would rather have her by his side so they could face it together. As a married couple should! Future cdramas should take notes.
The OSTs are also perfect!!! The only thing I'm sad about is the ending that is why I've given a 9.5 to the story. I wish instead of twirling flowers, they showed the sisters in their reincarnated human form. That would have made it the perfect ending for me. If they want to make it a happy ending, they should commit to it till the end. But overall, I would still give it a 10/10!!!

Probably the best drama I have recently watched, if not overall
the visuals are what made me start this drama, i happened to hear that they were really well done and indeed they were beautiful. But what captivated me even more was the story. Yetan especially is an amazing protagonist, well written, not falling as much into the tropes romance cdramas fall into and i was even more surprised by how dynamic she was. Her relationship with everyone around her was winteresting to see too especially with her sister and Man man. The drama really sold me on her and Youqin as a couple, i don't tend to get bonded with cdrama couples this much but they achieved to do that. As for all the other characters and couples, I feel that even those that weren't elaborated on as much really captivated the audience. By the end of the drama wudai was a favorite, while i was always really fond of Hai chao. The ending was bittersweet, but satisfying nonetheless. This drama made me cry more than any drama i've ever watched has, in both good and bad moments and this alone makes it stand out for me, the emotional impact is really strong. Both cheng xing xu and Landi yi did a phenomenal job, their acting was the one that stood out the most in the entire drama and i found myself reacting to their emotions and crying when they cried or sharing in on their joyful wholesome moments. It goes to show how good the writing is. I haven't used this account in a long time, but i had to log in just to make this review, so make of tharr what you will. Was this review helpful to you?
Romcom wrapped up in xianxia genre - Refreshing and unique
If you're a seasoned watcher of xianxia dramas, you probably expect complicated storylines, tons of supporting characters, and a lot of tragedy and angst. The Starry Love, for a xianxia drama, is quite unique and refreshing because it doesn't have too much of that. A huge chunk of it feels like a romantic comedy (emphasis on the comedy! It's very cute and silly). There are a good amount of supporting characters but the main supporting characters who go on the journey with the main 4 leads are a very good ensemble, very likeable, and bring comedy and also move the plot along.
My favorite refreshing parts of this drama:
-sisters who truly love and care for each other!!! No envy, no jealousy, just pure love and support.
-male lead comes off as cold in the beginning and there's an actual reason for that, not just because he's an asshole.
-The 'second' life in the mortal/beast realm doesn't involve too much amnesia actually because female lead doesn't forget any of her memories. It's all on the male lead's side.
Also, you know it'll be a good watch if you got both Sa DingDing AND Mao Buyi singing songs for the OST.
Furthermore, Chen XingXu is absolutely fantastic. He takes the whole cake! I knew he was already fantastic from Goodbye My Princess, but wow, he plays like 4-5 different personalities for his character--and pulls it all off! They are also unique with their own speech and mannerisms--something that Chen XingXu put a lot of thought into. I'm so happy for him and that he got to play this kind of difficult role, showing off his talent and skills!
Why am I only rating it 9.5 instead of 10? There are definitely a couple small things that I think could've been better, so I'm knocking it by half a point, but those small things doesn't ruin my enjoyment of the show. Really recommend to those looking for a different style of a xianxia drama!

Epic Xianxia Is Epic
This is really three stories in one long telling. The most obvious story is romantic involving the twin sisters. The secondary story is the power struggles in the Heavenly and Void realms. The underlying story that guides them all is the “Big Bad” that threatens their universe. The characters are many but after a few episodes very distinct in their differences. The main romantic couples are obvious after the first couple episodes. The heroes and villains aren’t as straight forward in the supporting characters.
As soon as one crisis is thwarted, another one pops up in true dramatic fashion. The story is always moving forward. The laughs are plentiful and balanced with the angst overall. All the little side stories are like puzzle pieces to the bigger picture.
The CGI is amazing and is the visual center to this show and the story. The soundtrack fits the scenes, even when it’s a modern sound. The sound effects are on point, especially enhancing the comical moments. Bonus points for not overusing blood leaving the body. However, in the beginning there are some noticeable sound production issues. Costumes and make up are beautiful. It’s easy to distinguish the type of character the person is suppose to be based on it.
Overall a highly recommended show for those who typically enjoy epic Xianxia style stories.
