Dont bother with season 2

I totally agree that season one is way better ! Season two is messy and unnecessary!

Main couple- Zhou Shi and Wei qing
second couple- Ning fei or Xue Ning and fei fei
Third couple- Bi qiu jing and Li ming cheng

The story started some what interesting... with the fact the the male lead became blind. the female lead loses her ability to draw. The story gets kinda weird and confusing because the female lead left for two years. In this time she is taking care of ning fei aka xue ning because he lost his memory while trying to save Zhou shi from being rape.

All the lead does is bicker and obvious they still like each other, but the female lead always rejects the male leads kisses.

Also Zhou shi is in the company of Xue ning's sister, who doesnt like the male lead( Wei qing) They are business competitors. There is also the addition of an evil character which is Xue zhi's brother. ( xue shi is the older sister, aka competitor.

So many story lines going on... ning fei lost his memory... trying to remember it....

It's just too much scheming, planning to the point that i got confused whats actually happening..

I liked the relationship of the three girls who where friends since college? Dont expect a fluffy romace. Im so disappointed by this drama. The first one i watched like 2 times..

let's face it, every sequel gets compared to its prequel and mostly fails to deliver anything better but this was thankfully an exception. maybe because s1 set the bar so low that nothing can be worse than that (yes I personally hated it). s2 delivered everything s1 failed to. if you haven't watched the s1, you'll be missing out on something or the other but i suggest to skip that season altogether bcs they add flashbacks almost everywhere necessary that even new watchers can understand (or people like me who forgot the story can remember what had happened).

Acting:
if you've watched the S1, i think you might agree with me, the acting in S1 was almost unbearable. i was so bothered by ML's acting. i remember skipping his scenes even tho he was the main character. coming to S2, thankfully he seems to be better in here. the other actors did a great job too. special shout out to actor Cai Yi Jia who portrayed Ning Fei. his character was so much different from s1 but still he nailed it (I'll talk more about him later on).

story:
oh boy i was disappointed as hell by the s1 but this story was damn better. i do believe this season has its own pros and cons so i wanna discuss them here without giving much spoilers.

cons:
actually I would've given this a 10 (refer pros) but the reason its a 9/10 is because of the ML. not just because of his acting, but his character in the beginning was an old fashioned drama lead. the controlling, selfish, misunderstanding, "i did this for your good, so be thankful" cold CEO again. he did have a character development arc later on and change to a totally soft fluff ball but it still was annoying no matter what. when I was watching the initial 2 eps, i was wondering how he got a worse personality than s1. they actually tried to give the FL a character development to make her seem more independent. it did work, I agree but i just felt i couldn't justify some of her actions as being a "strong woman", especially when she was with her boss.

another reason is because they kinda ruined the Fei Fei couple in the beginning. a misunderstanding which could've been easily avoided. harsh fact incoming: this entire season could've been avoided. i have no idea why this sequel even happened cuz the s1 actually tied the loose ends (if there was any) and was wrapped up even tho i wasn't a fan of it. tbh i liked the S2 more (obviously cuz i rated it a 9) but it could've been better if Fei Fei couple were the lead (edit: my wish came true). back to what i was saying, they did some damage to our beloved Fei Fei couple but soon enough it went back to normal. they were the best of the show.

pros:
wow, this one took me by surprise. i initially thought not to watch this cuz i almost skipped all ML scenes in s1. I'm really glad i gave this a try tho (maybe you should too!). i really liked that Fei Fei was more matured than her past self. i don't remember how the married couple were but they were really good this season.

ladies and gentlemen, i present you the star of the show, the show stealer: Ning Fei!!! damn where do I even start, he was the only reason i even gave this show a chance lol. he was a cutie in s1 and i liked him but here oh my god we get to see a totally different Ning Fei being a hottie and flirty. we can see a totally matured Ning Fei (or Xue Ning?) i guarantee you'll 100% fall for him. we get deja vu at times during 2 Fei interactions which i thought were cool cuz it reminded me how much i adored this couple (more than the main couple lol). Ning really set the bar high for a man (♡‿♡). i hope to see them both as main couple someday (edit: happened!). their chemistry was so damn good with the tension and anticipation. i was literally watching them with hearts in my eyes.

Season 1 was better!!!!

So, This happened. I really waited impatiently for this Season 2 because I was so in love with the first Season. I honestly didn't feel like Season 2 was necessary but I would get a chance to see my favorite couples on screen again.
The beginning episodes of this season were somewhat interesting. From Zhou Shi loosing her ability to draw, Ning Fei loosing his memory, Wei Qing going blind, blah, blah, blah. It was all an interesting story that I was willing to give a chance but then all of a sudden the interesting parts faded and filler episodes were just the order of the day. It got annoying at some point and I really wanted to drop it. They tried making it interesting again in the final episodes but it didn't work. It had already gone downhill.

Season 2 wasn't necessary. It wasn't!! Season 1 ended perfectly well.
Season 1, Wei Qing was annoying but I totally understood his situation. He was had lost trust in people which made him allergic and he just had a lot of issues and the death of his dad really took a toll on him but despite his rudeness the story was still interesting to watch.
But then Second season and it's as if he never even had allergies and now he has a whole new illness. Like give the man a break.
This is strictly my opinion on this second season.
Have a great watch!!!

Sweet and Romantic~

The season two is still wonderful! The season one was broadcast about three years ago. At that time, I liked watching this type of play very much. I didn't expect that there was a second one after three years, and the protagonist hasn't changed. I'm very glad. The three couples have their own stories, especially Wei Qing and Zhou Shi. At the beginning, Wei Qing became blind, and Zhou Shi has been taking care of him, and they finally get back together. Wei Qing is a domineering and lovely person. His character attracts me very much. The style of this play is also very sweet and romantic. There are many kissing scenes,I will continue to pay attention to the play!

Sigh. What a bummer. I was so excited to watch this drama but found myself more and more frustrated with every episode. This drama is suppose to be a romance… at least I thought so… but it didn’t deliver. FL was so cold and insincere… she bailed on ML, didn’t seem to have any real remorse for ghosting him for 2 years, and was always bickering, scolding, or yelling at him! I can’t count the number of times she pushed him away and I’m still not sure why since she liked him. What little chemistry the leads had fizzled out and it became a chore watching them in whatever undefined relationship they were suppose to be in. The last straw for me was when FL answered her phone during ML’s romantic proposal. I mean… who does that?!

FeiFei…oh FeiFei….20 episodes of crying and whining because her guy has amnesia! He has amnesia!!! Shouldn’t HE be more upset than you?! Why would you make him drink so much he’s hospitalized for alcohol poisoning?! If that’s love, run away!! Her selfishness and self-centeredness was just too much and not justifiable considering what he was going through.

I won’t start on the 3rd couple… although Li Ming was the only one I liked. ..:Drama should have just ended at season 1…

1st series was typical.

Rich spoil guy treats poor girl like he wants. She bows to his every wish. The main leading lady was weak. For some reason the writers always make them weak minded. At the end the rich guy changes and the weak woman will except his apology and they go on. Why the writers strong women into the scripts? In my opinion she is a terrible role model. They made her out for money and the rich spoil man, has something over her head. The good man in these romantic dramas always lose out. The best Romanic/Drama was Lady of Law. They had very strong women role models.

Sequel to same

I was often bored while I watched this one. The story did not get very interesting and in my opinion, it often dragged. The villains were not very villainous, the good guys did unreasonably not get along and if there was an investigation, and jalousy. it stayed below heating up to burn. The music was nice but too bland.
The rich and powerful were a bit lacking in both, much of what happened could be expected and even cooking became a subject for hit-or-miss experiments.
The last part was pleasant, but leaves with the menace of a Season 3. While I don't dislike the three couples, I think it is best if the story stopped here.

Worthy of each other

As a S1 fan I was really excited and waited for this drama for the longest time. I don't know there is something about Zhou Shi and Wei Qing that draws me in. I enjoyed S1 and S2 also.

Major advice if your planning to watch this. If your not a fan or did not like the S1 this drama is surely not for you.

Season 2 story revolves around Wei Qing and Zhou Shi trying to prove they deserve each other. Trying to be the best version of themselves and it is the best part of this s2 coz in S1 it was all Wei Qing that has the upper hand over Zhou Shi. But this S2 Zhou Shi made sure to return the favor. Of course this S2 isn't perfect I cringe at some parts and it dragged halfway as I expected but still I was happy that the 3 couples got to solved each their problems. And what I truly appreciate about this drama is they did not pull a stupid love triangle on us. BTW the amount of PPL this drama has. XD

Disappointing

I binge watched season one, so I was happy to see there's more, but having finished season two I now regret going on.

The main leads, who were a perfectly likeable couple in season one, are so annoying in season two, that by the end of the drama I really didn't care whether they'd end up together or not.

At the beginning the FL keeps making various decisions about her life that seriously affect the both of them, but fails to consult her boyfriend beforehand, so he always learns the last or by accident. Finally, she breaks up with her BF, just because some evil woman tells her she wants him for herself. I mean, WTF???!!!

The ML is no better and keeps making decisions over his girlfriend's head and behind her back, too, and thinks it's perfectly fine as long as he can say "I'm sorry" afterwards.

In the end they both promise to be truthful with each other, but since they haven't managed that even once during those 24 episodes, it's simply unbelievable.

I liked the Li Mingcheng and Ms Brainiac couple. They were the only reason I kept watching till the end.

I could only tolerate FL for 13 episodes

I dropped after episode 13 because FL and her overly sensitive attitude was getting on my last nerve.

She began picking fights with ML starting in episode 10. Can’t you two just sit down and discuss business related issues like professional adults? I understand her being upset with his know-it-all attitude – I get it, it’s annoying - but her attitude was just as know-it-all, and she was not willing to compromise. If you want to act like this because he's your ex, then keep it in your free time, not during working hours. It was like she’s just looking for ways to take offensive when it comes to ML. Yep, I’m clearly on ML’s side because he has every right to feel insecure based on how she prioritizes everything over their relationship and how she broke it off with him in the past. Yeah, she was sort of forced to do that by evil boss lady, but still, it was brutal. And he forgives her too easily and instantly wants her back. I’m sorry - she's the one who should work to get him back, not the other way around.

She’s really a mass of conflicting behaviors. She takes care of him when he’s blind, but as soon as he can see again, she’s pushing him away, having cat fights with him in the office and suspecting him of sabotaging her exhibition. She’s the kind of woman that drive men crazy because they can’t figure out what the hell she wants – nothing seems to please her. He disagrees with her and she takes offense; he agrees with her and she takes offense. This is not how you do business, ok? Frankly, this is not spunky or gutsy behavior; this is immature, childish, unreasonable behavior. Episode 13, she has them stop the car in the middle of nowhere so she can get her suitcase and apparently stomp off in a huff. So childish. At this point, he’s supposedly the bad guy because he’s trying to ‘control her’ yet everyone has apparently forgotten how she broke up with him earlier. Why he wants this unreasonable, childish, short-tempered female back is beyond me. She’s only thinking of herself and disregarding what his shrink and Mingcheng has told her – he’s insecure because of how you’ve treated him in the past and you need to show him more warmth and affection and take your revenge later. Revenge? If anyone should be taking revenge, it’s ML! He’s the one that had his heart stomped on without any explanation. Even now, has she shown any REAL remorse? And she has the nerve to call ML childish! ML has control issues, yes, but they are exacerbated by her placing their relationship so far down on the priority ladder, and she's too selfish to realize that even when other people flat out tell her. The shrink asks her if she still likes him, and she says 'yes'. Well, sister, that's hard to believe right now. Go back to Europe and finish junior high school. Once you're an adult, give it another try with ML...if he's still available, which he probably will be because he's stupid enough to love you.

I'm so tired of immature C-drama FLs who become loud, nagging, control freak mothers. Immature, unreasonable, overly sensitive, easily offended, jumping to conclusions, my career/dreams come before our relationship behavior does not equal spunk, spirit, guts, strength of character, maturity, whatever, Screenwriter/Director, and the mature members of your audience know that. Why even bother with the romance genre if the career/dream is always going to trump the relationship?

I really had no interest in the other couples (I hardly ever do in C-dramas). I will say I liked Ning Fei as the mouthy devil better than the fragile, sensitive artist of Season 1.

I would have liked to keep watching, but I've run out of patience with FL and her attitude.

3rd class lower class story i have seen .

3rd class lower class pron series wofe changes Chinese editing..
If you are really drama lover advice not to watch this type of series
When hero becomes heartbroken becomes blind.. heroine fu_king with his brother.. sleeping with him
Side character becomes too much importance... at first fuck with his sister in law ... then his girlfriend..............
This type of drama really affects society life
I think at first they must mention after a lot of years ... heroine becomes pronstar.. aur slut
Happy ending should be this type of side charecter and slut should be killed
I hope i covered the total summary of the story
